A-1 Quality Steam

Excellently done! I purchased the big deal for $249. A1 quality cleaned air duct as expected. Reasonable price. Answered all my questions. Will use again.

I can't say enough good things about the owner and his assistant. We spoke on the phone and the appointment was made for the next day. They showed up on time, were careful about my cat being safe, and then did the cleaning which required moving one of the rugs under a very heavy poster bed. They were very careful and thorough. The carpets look like new.

Do not go with this guy would be my advice - the offer is only good if they perform the work.

A-1 telephoned the day before to ask details. I told them I would like two stairways and a hallway cleaned in addition to the three rooms of the special deal. No problem, they gave me an estimate. They called to say they were on their way. Arrived as scheduled. Started cleaning immediately as we had cleared the rooms of the "small" stuff. They moved sofas and chairs as they cleaned. Book cases and desks were not moved. They knocked a photo off the wall while cleaning a stairway. They showed me the damage, apologized, and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. I appreciated their "up-front" attitude and do not consider the incident a problem. Accidents happen. I was pleased with the cleaning, the attitude of the guys. I will hire them again. I want the bedrooms done!

Everything about them was really good except the carpet was wet for about 3-4 days afterwards. He did a good job, he was punctual and a super nice guy. I just never had carpet take that long to dry before.

Initially there was a mix up on the scheduled date. I made an appointment with someone on the phone, but he was not at the office at the time and the appointment time did not make it back to their office calendar. No biggie. Mistakes happen. They were apologetic. However, the work was adequate, not outstanding. I was not impressed enough to use them again.

It went very well. They were a little late, but called and let us know. When they arrived they got right to work and seemed to be true professionals. They were friendly, thorough, and efficient. It did not take long before they were done and they did a very good job.

A good experience. On time, experienced, pleasant, quick workers -- just over 1 hour for 4 rooms, 2 stairwells & 2 area rugs. They moved small items and took care to place plastic protectors under living room furniture while it dries. I didn't ask for any spot cleaning or deep cleaning, which I may do someday, but I would do this again for annual maintenance.

Had hoped this would improve the dusting issue, but really have not noticed much of a difference. We have dark flooring and furniture and seems I have to dust every other day. I price checked a couple of other company's and this price seemed like a deal, but maybe the old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. He was professional and curtious, but just don't know if it was my expectations or if getting your heat vents and cold air returns cleaned will reduce the dust in ones home? Final conclusion we feel it was a waste of money.

I purchased a certificate on Angie's list for a long overdue air duct cleaning. Lance and Alex were very patient with the scheduling dilemmas I encountered and my need to reschedule a few times before we finally had them in. On the day of service they arrived on time and got right to work. Job was thoroughly executed and they made suggestions along the way. Our home is older (built in the 1920s) and I doubt the air ducts had ever been cleaned -- and certainly had not in the last decade - so they had their work cut out for them. They were pleasant, professional, and demonstrated great teamwork which resulted in a thorough yet expedient job. I will hire them again.

The whole cleaning process went well. The two men were on time, worked the entire time they were at my home, and pointed out areas of the furniture that needed additional work. I am having my wood floor refinished in a few months. When I do I will make sure the furniture and area rugs are on plastic before they are cleaned again. Although the two men immediately wiped up any liquid that got on the wood floors, because water marks can appear so easily, I would feel more at ease with the cleaning if I put plastic under the furniture and under the rugs in the future.

They were excellent. I called and scheduled services for the following week. They were punctual and extremely pleasant.

A1 Quality Steam Cleaning (2 men) cleaned my whole house for $200.00. They were originally scheduled to clean 3 areas, but as long as they were there, I asked if they could include the 3 bedrooms as well. They did an excellent job on all the carpeting, even did an extra application of a protecter on the carpet for a small additional fee.It didn't take that long (about 1 1/2 hrs.).They were friendly, but professional. I would definetely recommend them to anyone needing clean carpets. I appreciated that Angie's List had this as a special of $99.00 this time of year. Now I am looking for someone to stain my front door and would appreciate it if there would be a special on that in the next month or two.

Lance called ahead that morning and said they were on their way. He had one other guy with him and they arrived exactly on time. I took them through and discussed the rugs we wanted cleaned and asked if he would also give me a quote on other wool area rugs we had on the second floor. He gave me a quote on those too. It was a great deal and I decided to include those. They pretreated all of the rugs and used steam and a high suction vacumn to get the dirt out. I had been remiss in cleaning these regularly and the dining room rug, in particular, was pretty dirty. Lance noticed that when they applied the steam to it the ground in dirt was turning to mud. He actually got down and used rags to soak the dirt out and scrubed it by hand - he was really sweating! But after getting most of it out and using the steamer and vacumn again, it looks great. They were done in 90 minutes, cleaned up after themselves, and all the rugs look tremendously refreshed.

Service was very prompt and efficient. Well satisfied.

They showed up on time.Cleaned the sofa and chair first.I was pleased at how well they were cleaned.The carpet had heavy traffic areas.They were able too get these areas clean.I was very pleased with the results.They did a great job at a fair price.Would use this service again.

Price was as quoted and tile and grout were cleaned in all desired areas. The grout did not get as clean as I had hoped, but I was happy with the work.

After purchasing the "Big Deal" I scheduled for Lance to come in mid-November to clean our air vents. It appeared that they had never been cleaned before and looked great when he was done. We were very pleased with the actual work performed and intended to call the company again for carpet cleaning. But that will not be happening. Unfortunately, I was not home when the work was performed and my husband misunderstood that we had already paid by purchasing the Big Deal, so he wrote a check for $249 (the price he was given). When I learned of this error, I contacted Lance the same day and informed him of the error, forwarded him our Angie's List coupon, and asked him to destroy the check (which he responded he would do). Right around Thanksgiving, I discovered that they check had instead been cashed. In giving him the benefit of the doubt, I again emailed him about the error and asked for a refund check. I was assured that I would receive a refund check. Two and a half weeks later, no check has been received and he is not responding to my email. I am all about giving someone the benefit of the doubt and assuming good intent. But at this point I have no choice but to assume that he is acting unethically. I would love to have given A-1 a more positive review, but they cost me an extra $250. Based on a lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend you utilize this company. And I have also learned my lesson, pay the $25 stop payment fee from the bank, or you could be out an extra $250. Lesson learned.

I scheduled the carpet cleaning to occur right after I had my regular cleaning by my friend and housecleaner. A-1 called and asked if they could come earlier, and my housecleaner was able to get the vacuuming done quickly to allow them to begin. From start to finish they were here only about 40 minutes. They were polite, professional and incredibly efficient!! My carpets looked 10 years younger. I had received a dry-clean treatment for carpets 2 years before, and it was nowhere near as good as this steam cleaning. The carpets were dry and ready for the whole family to tromp on them about 6-7 hours later. I honestly didn't know they could look as good as they did when A-1 was done.

It went very well. There were two guys here. They took their shoes off as requested when they went upstairs. They moved everything back where it was. The house smells so fresh now.

They called to say they were on their way and showed up ready to clean.

On date of service, Lance called to inform me of need to reschedule due to equipment failure. He was apologetic and assured me that he would call back as soon as possible to reschedule service. Six days went by without him calling back. I finally called him. He did not seem to remember me, and I had to give my information all over again. I had to remind him that I was using an Angie's List special. He did show up for the service the next day. We had a 10 day time frame to have this work done, and it made me very anxious not knowing when his crew would show up. I would have been much more satisfied if he contacted sooner with an update on his schedule. After I posted an initial review, Lance did call me to apologize for my inconvenience. I appreciated the gesture. He sounded very frustrated about his equipment problem.

Every thing went well. They arrive on time and did excellent work at the agreed upon rate. This is the second time I have used A-1 Quality Steam Cleaning and will certainly use them again!
