Frisch Drywall

We plan on future remodeling and have Frisch Drywall on our list when we are ready to proceed with future home improvements.

Mike did an excellent job repairing the plaster and matching the existing texture. He also discovered some other places on my cathedral ceiling where damage had occurred and where the plaster was about to fall. I saw him touch a place gently, causing the top layer of plaster to give way. I am grateful he caught these other areas and spent extra time beyond what I had contracted for to fix them. Mike is quite personable and easy to work with.

I purchased a coupon for 3 hours of drywall repair for $160. Mike was very prompt in calling me after I purchased the coupon. I explained what kind of work I needed. He set up an appointment to stop by and see the work. Mike was very accommodating to my work schedule and was able to begin the project within a few days. Mike has great pride in his work and is very pleasant to have working in your home. My project required additional time, so It did take more than the 3 hour coupon. I would highly recommend him.

We emailed back and forth for a good time for both of us. He was prompt. He came to my house, and we discussed what needed to be done with the large crack in my entrance ceiling. He removed the old dryway. He then put new drywall up, and cleaned the area. The whole process took about 2 and half hours. He was great to work with and I would highly recommend him.

It went well. He seemed very experienced. I think he had 20 years of experience. He was friendly. I had an Angie's List coupon for $99 and it was an extra $15 for materials. It was difficult to hook up with him. He didn’t do a very good job on cleanup but I kind of said I would help with that.

Went well. Mike did a good job. We bought the Angie's List coupon in 2012 and he called right away to let us know that he was really busy due to the coupon's popularity and that when we were ready to make an appointment he would work us in. We had a few other things to do to the house before we were ready for drywall work so we waited a month. I gave him a description of what was needed over the phone and he came prepared with what he needed. We had about 6 patches that needed to be done. due to some of the patches being on the ceiling we gave him cash to go to Menard's to pick up a ceiling texture spray that matched our current ceiling. He went over the 3 hours by about 40 minutes. Overall, with the $100 coupon, the ceiling texture paint and the additional time needed to complete the repairs I think it was about $180. We did not have him paint the patches as we are painting the entire house anyway, although he offered and it seemed to be included in the repair cost. We are happy with the services and would use Mike again for home improvements. He was very knowledgeable and experienced and had no problem explaining the work he was doing.

We had a number of holes from old light fixtures and a recessed medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Mike patched them all and filled in smaller holes around the room. He also made sure the hole for the new light fixture was strong enough to support the electrical box.

Michael, the owner, actually contacted me. I had delayed contact, waiting on a day off. His ad indicated that he didn't work on the weekends, but he was more than accommodating. I tried to explain the project, but it was difficult so Mike if I could email pictures. It worked out well. He arrived as expected, knew exactly what was needed & was prepared for the job. He did a great job. The ceilings & holes in the wall looked 110 percent better. A little paint & they're hardly recognizable. Mike was professional & knowledgeable. I'd definitely use Frisch again.

We bought an advertised $99 coupon for plaster repair sometime in late October. Michael called right away to let us know that as a result of the ad he was very busy and was working on a first come first served basis. He asked me to send some pictures of the job which I did. I also told him we were in no hurry. He then called early in December and made an appointment to come over and look at the job. He quoted a price and was ready to start the following Monday. After he finished the work, he asked if we wanted it painted. We were delighted to discover that he also painted so he was able to complete the entire project for us! He was punctual, efficient with his time and cleaned up after himself. He also suggested color contrasts for the paint. The room and hallway look fantastic! We plan to hire him to repair the plaster and paint the remainder of our house.

Mike didn't mind me hanging around and asking questions while he worked. He freely gave me tips and told me to call him any time I had questions. I would be happy to hire Mike for future work and highly recommend him.

Mike was very accommodating in scheduling our project. He arrived promptly and after seeing the areas needing repair he got right to work. He was polite and neat, keeping the dust and mess to a minimum. His repairs were just what we needed and turned out great. I would definitely recommend Frisch Drywall to anyone needing drywall work done.

Really, really pleased with the work he did. The cracks in our living room ceiling were poorly repaired by a previous owner (repair tape was buckling, basically put on the tape and painted over it). Michael removed the old tape and repaired the cracks, I believe using drywall mud. He did a really nice job and gave me the good advice to prime the areas before painting the ceiling. I will use him again in the future. (Big Deal was for $99 and extra $30 was for supplies)

I bought a "big deal" from Angie's List for 3 hours of Drywall repair from Frisch Drywall. When I called to set up an appointment he didn't seem thrilled to hear from yet another one of the 'Big Deal' customers, but he was polite and professional and asked if I was in a hurry to get the walls repaired or if I could wait a while. I said we were in no hurry. About a month later he called me on his own and set up a time for that same week to come and fix the holes. He came on time, was very professional and friendly. He chatted with my kids and was nice to my dogs. He cleaned up after himself and did an excellent job on the walls.I will definitely hire him again if I need more drywall work.

The job was bigger than it looked on the photo I sent him, but he took it in stride and was very gracious. He did an excellent job and was very neat, making an extra effort to leave a cluttered garage looking cleaner than it was when he began.

I hadn't heard from him, so Angie's List contacted him for me. He then called me and said he would be in my area soon and he would give me a call. It has been well over a month and I have not heard from him.

He was prompt arriving and finished the job quickly. The only thing that bothered me was he did not have any textures to put on after the repairs. I assumed those were materials he would have on hand.

They did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterwards. It did take about three weeks for them to do the job. When I purchased the coupon he told me he wasn't sure when he would be able to come out and do the work.

I highly recommend Mike. I purchased a coupon through Angies List for Mike's Services. He answered right when I called, and scheduled a day for the services immediately. I had 3 areas that I emailed pictures to Mike that needed drywall repair. Mike was prompt, professional, and extremely courteous. Mike pointed out a 4rth area that he recommended be repaired. He didn't charge extra for this, and goes to show the type of product his business puts out. My wife and I recommend Mike for anytime of drywall work.

Mike arrived on time. He did a fantastic job on all our plaster cracks and chunks. The repairs are not visible at all. He also cleaned up after himself. He gave us advice on a primer to use and suggestions about paint. He was very well informed. We were very impressed by him and by his work.

Mike was incredibly fast to 1) respond & get me a quote and 2) start the work. He's a guy who says what he's going to do and does what he says. Easy to work with. I was especially impressed by his great communication after we were working on the job. He would call often to find out when the good times were to get in. The work was great. He even worked on a Saturday. I will totally hire Mike again for my other jobs. I thought his prices were right on the mark, and way less than a big drywall company.

Repair was completed and blended into the existing ceiling so the repair was not noticeable.
