l Called in May of 2015. They (him and his wife) responded with in a couple of days. Robert Tatzel told me all about what he was going to do for me. Spent a lot of time telling how great everything was going to be. How many stations I was going to get and what a great job he was going to do. When he gave me an estimate of nearly 800$ I told him that it was way out of my price range and that I just wanted the amplifier replaced. He again told me what a fantastic job it would be if I would just "let" him do the work that needed to be done. He said he could knock down the price to cost as long as I pay the taxes. We shook hands, I paid 300$ down and his wife Paula wrote out a receipt. They told me they should be able to start in 2 weeks. That was the last time I saw them. I knew we had been having bad weather for this type of work so I didn't call until the middle of June. They, of course, told me that the weather had been bad and that I am "on the list" to be done next. I didn't call again until the middle of July. This time "Bob" had vertigo, but was getting better and they would be calling me soon. They NEVER called until I told them I was going to talk to the states attorney. They promised, again, that they would be here on August 5th. I got a call from "Bob" on August 4th telling me that his sister is in hospital in Madison. I said okay so when will you be here. He said on the 6th. I got a call that morning saying he was on his way back and would be here in the afternoon to "get things started". They have still not shown up and it's after 5pm on the 6th. I called them and told them I was hiring someone else and for them to send my deposit back within 10 days. I shall see how that goes. Wish me luck!

Description of Work: I called them to repair/replace a TV tower/antenna that had blown down in a windstorm. They came out immediately and gave me an estimate, which I presented to my insurance company for an OK. Tatzell asked for 1/2 down, whuich I gave them. Then the horror began........excuses, more excuses, many more excuses....it went on and on for MONTHS and no work was done. I called many times and all I got was excuses. I notified the Wisconsin Dept of Consumer Affairs and they were unable to resolve the problem. I threatened Tatzell with a small claims court lawsuit. Eventually --- 7 months or so - they showed up (never exactly when they said) and did the work. I have to say that the work they did was excellent. But I would NEVER deal with them again. I was totally frustrated with them and their excuses, some of which they repeated without remembering that they had used that one before.
