The Grout Doctor

He left both of them spotless and looking like new. I am proud to have visitors use my bathrooms now. If/when any significant mold reappears in the future, I won't struggle with the cycle of cleaning the mold, and finding it return in a week. I'll call the Grout Doctor.

Very professional. They were prompt to respond to me as I needed to get this done as soon as possible. I chose them based on the reviews that others had provided.

The men were VERY professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and when they left all I had to do was wash the floor (because of the grouting and caulked outside the tub. They explained what they were doing and how long it would take. There is drying time between each of these steps and they let me know that it would take time because of that. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the work. The bathroom was a mess when they arrived and looks BRAND NEW now!!

He did give me a quote, but he did not think the work needed to be done. He told me to hang onto the quote for a year and we'll revisit it. That is honest ...and rare !

Excellent job! They arrived on time for both the estimate and the job. The performed professionally made sure I was happy with the results. The kitchen looks like a brand new room! I plan on using them again in the not to distant future for cleaning and sealing the tile in our sunroom.

We joined Angie's List to obtain some great references for some work we planned to have done over the next few months. The Grout Doctor was the first company we called after reading about the business on Angie's List. We were not disappointed. Dan was completely professional from the first phone call until he left after the job was done. He gave us helpful tips on maintaining and cleaning after he was done. We are completely happy with the job that he did cleaning, caulking and sealing our bathrooms and foyer.

He had done a preliminary estimate, saw the job and quoted a price. The day he was to do the work, within 15minutes of his arrival he cam out of bathroom and said it wasn't going to work. i went into my bath and lower tiles were removed already and was now down to the studs. He picked up his things and just left. I followed him out and asked what I was to do now, and he said I had to find someone else.

Arrived on time, exactly as promised. Worked according to plan. Always stayed in good communication. Added on extra small projects of filling cracks, checking and filling grouut around master tub, and did one additional floor that was not in original estimate. It was a two day job; on both days the work site was left clean. The master shower was both large and has a very high ceiling, thus the amount of work for the price was fair. The workmanship was immaculate. The shower looks like new. We are extremely pleased with the interaction being easy and the outcome being perfect. Thankful for a great job well done. Would definitiely use again.

The company came and gave an estimate. The job cost the exact amount of the estimate. The grout in between the side tiles was old and needed replacing---he did a great job. The caulking in the corners, bottom and around the door was also replaced well. The tiles were cleaned, and then everything was sealed. We are happy with the job.

The Grout Doctor provided an estimate and was able to start work within 2 weeks. They were a little more expensive than another local company on Angie's List, but I selected them because they were knowledgeable, friendly and punctual for the estimate appointment. He even took his shoes off upon entering the house, without me asking! 2 men arrived on time to do the work and it looked amazing when they were done. Both bathrooms are original to my 1970 house and they were able to make the very old tile look fantastic with new grout and caulk. They cleaned up their mess and only left a thin layer of dust along all of the surfaces in the bathroom. It didn't take me long to wipe it down. I was able to use the shower within 24 hours.

The Grout Dr. came first to provide an estimate and then came back out to do the work on the scheduled date. He was always on time and was very thorough in his work!

I was impressed and delighted with the entire project. Dan is talented and experienced. He was prompt, efficient, pleasant, and knew what he was doing. I was amazed at the quality of his workmanship as the bathrooms look brand new. Additionally he was concerned about the grab bar in my shower (a vacuum seal type on the glass wall) and suggested an improvement. I would recommend him with enthusiasm.

Dan was quick to respond to my call. He came out and did an estimate and explained the benefits of treating shower stall with Enduro Shield. My house is over 100 years old and is kind of unique in that the shower stall is basically a converted closet outside/separate from the bathroom. I accepted the offer and Dan scheduled an appointment a few weeks later. Dan showed up on time and was respectful of my home, immediately taking off his shoes and laying down fabric tarps to protect my carpeting. He accommodated my work schedule and completed the job in one day. Since his repairs I have not had any leaking from my shower stall and can not believe how well the Enduro Shield works. I do not have an exhaust fan in my shower so before the Enduro Shield it was a pain to clean; hard water and mildew build up. After the application of the Enduro Shield I simply wipe down the walls every now and again with vinegar and water and so far no issues with mildew build up. Love it.

It went very well. They came when they said they would, confirmed our appointment, did the work in the amount of time stated, did a great job, left the area very neat, and the price was very fair. The shower looks great and we were also told how to continue caring for it to avoid this happening again.

Dan responded promptly to my message on his answering machine and an appointment was set for the next afternoon. Dan showed up at the scheduled time, gave me an estimate which I accepted, and the work was scheduled for the following Monday. Dan arrived promptly at 8:30, completed the work, cleaned up and was out the door by 2:30. The 21 year old tile looks like new, and the grout and silicone seal look better than the original. Dan is friendly, focused, and professional. I am pleased with work and would hire The Grout Doctor again, and would recommend him without reservation.

The grout between the shower floor and the wall had cracked years ago and I had a previous contractor fix it with caulk, which had gotten badly discolored. Also had other grout failing and old caulk that just needed routine re-doing. Dan gave me a prompt estimate and I scheduled the work at time of estimate, to be done a few weeks later. He called before the scheduled time to let me know he was running a little late but arrived shortly thereafter. After removing the old caulk he said he could grout the wall-to-floor joint so it would look better than the caulk. It did look much better and two years later it's holding up well. The caulking was all done neatly and the grout clean and seal looked like new. Love my tiled shower but I knew it would require maintenance, so I am glad the Grout Doctor knows what he is doing.

I was out of town when they came. I was pleased with the work they did when I arrived home. They're very responsive and the price for the service I received was fair. I will use them again in the future.

He did a good job. There were some areas of concern, but he came back and fixed that. I had no problems. He was prompt and really quick. It wasn't that expensive. I would use him again in the future if necessary.

He arrived on time exactly if not a little before 8am. He removed the old caulk and molded grout with a razor tool. Then used the old grout mix I had from the previous remodel to mix a batch of replacement grout (he didn't make me buy new mix from him!). After he replaced the grout, he gave me step-by-step instructions on drying time and future maintenance/cleaning. He also made a few grout touch-ups on the bathroom tiled floor and baseboards. When finished, he cleaned up the entire space and left the bathroom looking great! He was very personable and took the time to explain things and answer all my questions - very appreciated by this first-time homeowner.

He spent two full days regrouting and then returned a third day to apply the Enduro Shield. Both bathrooms look great! I was very pleased with his work.

Dan was prompt and professional both when he came to give the estimate as well as when he came to do the job. The result was simply beautiful. He got the grout on the floor so clean he didn't have to "stain seal " it as he originally thought he would, resulting in a $60.00 savings to us. We both couldn't be happier with the results or with Dan

The day after I called, Dan came over and gave me an estimate and scheduled a date for the work to be completed. He was very professional, punctual and informative. On the scheduled day, he arrived on time and quickly went to work. He performed the work exactly according to plan and when he was done, I was amazed at how wonderful the tub area looked. It looked like it did when I had it installed 11 years ago! I was very pleased with his work and would definitely hire him again.
