Naturescape

This was our first season trying Naturescape for mosquito control and we won't be using them anymore. While all of their correspondences emphasize their 100% satisfaction guarantee, the service definitely does not live up to that. The spray applications were not thorough and they didn't cover nearly the area that was agreed to in the quote. One application was washed away in a downpour less than 10 minutes later and we had difficulties getting the re-application service call scheduled. They were also a no-show for one application appointment and we had to call to let them know and get it rescheduled.

They aerated the yard at the end of May and then I had to call to request the first fertilizer treatment, which didn't happen until the beginning of July. Nothing has happened since. I agree with others who say the service has gone downhill and is not the same. I don't know if people quit during the pandemic, but they are definitely not the same company.

Brian, New Berlin I hate to give a bad review but NatureScape has gone down hill. I have used this service for 16 years and I do not feel that they are living up to their printed slogan on the information sheet,“100% committed to Customer Satisfaction since 1986.” or “Satisfaction Completely Guaranteed”. They came out to do our lawn on 3-11-2022 at which time our lawn was full of snow so there was no way they could do my full yard. As Spring has arrived, I had to call because my yard was full of dandelions, they said they would come and do an early application. They ever came. So I called a week or two later, they said they were sorry. I was told they would come last Thursday for sure. So.. Thursday came and I saw a NatureScape truck in my neighborhood, so I drove over to see if he was coming to my house but he said he just doing mosquito spraying. He did however take my information and said he would call to make sure they would come. I called NatureScape to see what time they would be here and was told about noon. I called NatureScape back at 2:30 and was told they wouldn't be there today because they were not in my area but they would come next week. Again they never came. So another call was made and was told they are not coming back. They said I only paid for 1 application however I paid $334.00 for the full year. Again they said “Sorry” but they would look into it. I asked to talk to a boss or supervisor but they could only say they were sorry that no one could talk to me that someone would call me back at their convenience, but this took days for a response from them. I am finally done with NatureScape bad service. They are lazy on the phone, managers don't call back for days and will not give back my full refund for the year. I give them a ZERO. I really feel they are not living up to their “100% Committed to Customer Satisfaction since 1986” or “Satisfaction Completely Guaranteed” promise written on their information sheet. It is hard to believe they would treat paying customers in this way. Save your money, call a better service.

The service was good. The price went up 24% from last year to this year. It was ridiculous. Their pricing was high.

Happy with service. Very reliable.

Their price, responsiveness, and efficiency are all good.

They come about every 5 to 6 weeks, and if I order aeration or whatever, but they always ask, they never perform a service without my consent. I pay it once a year. I prepay it for the year. They got rid of all the weeds in my yard, and the yard looks really good. They come at their scheduled time, and I never had a problem where they haven't arrived when they said they were going to be here. You know half the time I don't even see them, they come, they spray the lawn, they're done. Always professional when I speak to them on the phone, always. I've used them for, I can't even tell you how many years.

They were awful. I won't ever use them again. They have real poor service. They don't come out when they're suppose to come out. In fact, we hired a new lawn service for next year. There was never a set time, so it's hard to say on punctuality. But we had to keep calling to get them to come out. 

They have to get more employees because I was suppose to get 5 treatments. At the end of the year, they had to put them all at the same time because they didn't get them done on time. It's just poor quality service, unresponsive. When you call them up, they're rude. I could go on forever. I will never use them again. Poor quality.

Their prices are reasonable, their product is the same as any other company. Here is the big problem with this company. I ordered the full pkg. including spraying for mosquitoes. You have to call them and beg them to come out and spray. They said they only come out every 5-6 weeks to spray. Which is too long in between sprays. The management at this location have no idea how to run a company. They do not realize Memorial day, 4th of July & Labor Day are the biggest holidays of the summer. You have to call 3-4 weeks ahead of one of these holidays to make sure they spray your lawn, in time for the Holiday. I used a different company before, for the mosquito spray and they would show up within a couple of days. Definitely Do not use this company for their mosquito product. I would skip this company all together, because their management is horrible. They should go to class to know what holidays are in the summer.

This is about the third year we are using them. I don't think the lawn looks that great. I don't know how to judge, I think they are all high. The quality of the service is the same as now, no great change.

It's a seasonal contract.

Well, the worker had to come out twice.  First he used a motorized vehicle, which was insuffient in drilling holes.  My google search states sufficient depth should be 2-4-6 inches deep.   Mine were mostly UNDER one inch...several being 1 3/4 inches..almost the two inch minimum.  The worker said he did not have the equipment to drill this deep?  Also, they have a guarantee, but no responses, thus far, to a phone call or a number of emails.  Will await the response. 

Expected the results from my first aeration by this company. He was a good worker, and the holes were over two inches, perhaps, three inches deep.  Not sure why they were not this time.

Still waiting to see if they honor their guarantee...have 72 hours.  So, will update this, if they do so. But if they do not,

I remain an unsatisfied customer to this service!  Sorry! 

Oh, I keep a number of cores as evidence of how deep the holes were for this aeration.

I did compliment them on their response, and getting out to me twice on the same day.  Their machine broke down,

and they brought two new aerators, perhaps,with limited core depths?????????

If this is corrected sufficiently, I will upgade my review!  Again, most of my adivice came from a competitor of this service and

research on the internet..that the holes should be two inches MINIMUM!  all of them, not just 20-30 percent of them.  Also, some recommend going over the area twice...I watched the worker only do a quick one time lap.

When I had called to order their lawn mowing services, I was very, very specific about how I personally cut my lawn, and how I wanted it to continue to be cut. I keep my lawn at about 3-1/2 inches long, so it stays green and it doesn't need to be watered. I also said that I did not want any scalping. I told them that I have fired 3 other lawn service companies for not following my directions. They told me that this would not be an issue, as they only cut the top third of the grass blade off. They also told me that they would come every 10 days. I was ok with spending the $120 per month, but even though my lawn hadn't really grown that much, they come every single stinking week. I guess that's their way of extorting another $40 per month out of me. The last 2 visits now, the guy that they sent out has missed a 3 foot section of my lawn from the property line. The guy has also mowed my lawn down to about 1-1/2 inches in length. My grass looks horrible, brown, and is scalped in many spots. I took 7 pictures yesterday and emailed them with my disgust and attached the pics. Every visit was also supposed to include trimming and edging. Clearly their guy has never used a trimmer before, as the lines are nowhere near straight and he basically scalped those areas as well. He also didn't trim around my front bushes or next to my garage where the grass is about 18 inches high. I was home one day when the guy was here, and it seemed like he couldn't get done fast enough. From start to finish, we're talking 10 minutes. So at roughly $4.00 per minute, there should be some expectation of quality I would guess. I also told them that I will not be paying for the last visit. I have yet to get a response, which makes me even more angry.

We've just signed a package with them for the fertilization, weed killing and stuff like that. For the last two years my husband has had back problems. So, they've been coming and mowing our yard weekly if necessary. It's $35 each time they come out and mow. We have a small yard. The package deal, where they come out four times a year and winterize and stuff like that is $140. It has been going great. I haven't had any problems with them. The quality is fine. Sometimes when they mow, it depends on who they're sending out. They don't have the same person every time. When they mow, you may see a little strip of grass that they've missed. We're even thinking about using them for snow removal.

I am happy to say I don't have one complaint. Not even a
minor one. Everyone was so professional and knowledgeable. There were no
glitches in the installation of the furnace and air conditioner.

Always goes very well if the weather doesn't agree or weeds reappear they will come back out and check it out to find a remedy.
Have used them for lawn cutting before as well, did a good job.
Easy to work with and always do a good job.

Excellent work.

Starting in about March they come out 5 times during the Spring/Summer/Fall season. Various weed, fertilizer and bug/insect applications. I have used them for over 10 yrs, I have checked around periodically and they have always been the best price around for what I needed. They are easy to work with and more than willing to come back out if there is ever and issue with weeds popping back up or just to answer any questions you might have.
