Description of Work: I contacted VA Cleaning Services, LLC to clean my elderly parents home several years ago. I contracted this company to provide service for more than one year and my Mother was very, very satisfied until the last few months of service. During the last few months, one of the owners who consistently came along with the cleaning crew had an injury and the wife took control of the day to day operations but she never arrived with the cleaning crew. What she wanted to do was to increase the cleaning rate by more than 30% and decreased the number of cleaners. We found another cleaning services for $130.00 a month instead of what was going to be $180.00 a month. My parents appreciated the high level of service that this company initially provided but I caution you to look at the most recent reviews to make your decision about using this company.

Description of Work: Mr Alvarez came to give me an estimate the day after I called. He made a thorough tour of the house, asking questions along the way. We set up the appt, and today 5 women spent 3 hours doing cleaning which I'd been unable to do for almost a year because of a disability. These women were totally thorough, with one woman assigned to the bathrooms alone, and she spent almost 2 hours doing them. The lights throughout the house shine like they've never done, the shower doors are as clean as when they were installed. They washed & polished my hardwood floors with vinegar & water, on their knees by hand. Not one crevice escaped their touch. We are so pleased with their work that we've already scheduled our next cleaning. They're completely awesome!!

Description of Work: I called them because my regular cleaning people flaked out on me. Vincente and his team showed up within an hour and went to work. They did such a good job, I'm having them do my regular bi-weekly cleaning. Great person to work with. They even cleaned the dead bugs out of my light fixtures and changed a lightbulb.

+ -1 moreCouldn't have been better, very professional job. The windows were really dirty, so the resulting view is a revelation, sort of like going from regular TV to HDTV! I will hire V.A. for any other big cleaning jobs and will actively recommend them to all my friends.

+ -1 moreI called V.A. Cleaning Services after seeing their good report history. I was not disappointed. Although the owner, Vincente Alvarez missed the appointment we had set up over the phone, he showed up two days later and did a wonderful job of cleaning all the gutters on my bungalow. Two of the gutters were completely plugged with debris from a roof tear-off and also tons of pine needles from a neighbor's trees. Vincente ended up having to completely remove one of the down spouts from the second story down and flush it with a hose to get the clog out. When all was done he had filled a large bucket with debris from the gutters and hauled it to my trash. He did a great job for a reasonable price.
Description of Work: Clean all porch and house gutters on story and a half bungalow.

Description of Work: Two story colonial house. Gutters were clogged on a very rainy day and rain was due again the next day. I called them in the afternoon, they came that night to look at the gutters and came back the next morning and cleaned them.

+ -1 moreI called Vicente to ask for an estimate on cleaning out my gutters. He made an appointment to meet me at my house two days later. He was going to be a few minutes late for the appointment and called that day to let me know. He estimated $40 for the job and offered to do it immediately after giving the estimate. Because I had just moved into my home and did not have a hose for him to wash the gutters down once the debris was removed, he said he would come back later with his own hose. He completed the job within the time frame he provided and did great work. He bagged the debris and took it away when he left.

+ -1 moreI called V A Cleaning Service on a Wednesday and Vincente came over to give me an estimate the next day. I was desperate to have the house cleaned because we had been living with the dirt for over a week. He squeezed us into his schedule for that Saturday. His team showed up right on time and did an absolute impeccable job. They cleaned everything down to the smallest detail. They cleaned the hardwood floors by hand, that is something I've never even done myself. When I walked in three in a half hours later, I thought I had the wrong house. Everything was sparkling clean and brand new again. Vincente did a walk-through with me at the end to make sure that I was satisfied. I would not hesitate to hire Vincente and his crew again, they were terrific. I definitely recommend them!
Description of Work: We're in the process of having our kitchen remodeled. There was dust and dirt everywhere. We have hardwood floors throughout our house and they were filthy from the construction work that had been done. We were in need of a thorough house cleaning.

A bit of a gift to myself but so well worth it. I paid in advance and was so pleased when I saw the work the next day!

+ -1 moreHe is unbelievable. This was my first experience with Angie's List. It certainly worked for me. He just took over and knew just what had to me done with very little guidance or assistance. He worked so very hard. He is very polite, professional, did not want me to overwork myself, understanding, neat, and then left everything immaculate. He is prompt, flexible, and knowledgeable about all sorts of things dealing with cleaning out a house. I am going to be hiring him again. He also didn't want me to waste my time and money to have an overall cleaning done before I get the carpet ripped out so it would mess up what was already cleaned. I know I could not have done this project without his help. He is just plain fantastic!!! I would trust him with just about any project around the house.
Description of Work: He helped me clean out my mother's house, carried and cleared out the attic and basement, arranged and cleaned out garage; organized things, packed things; cleaned out the eaves; loaded a truck for me and just about anything I needed done. And this was an overwhelming job.

I WOULDN'T SAY THAT THIS IS HIS MAIN LINE OF WORK, BUT IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO GO UP ON YOUR ROOF AND DO A MESSY, TIME-CONSUMING JOB AT A BARGAIN RATE, VINCENTE IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN FOR OTHER "EASY" PROJECTS. HE TOLD ME THAT HIS MAIN BUSINESS IS CLEANING HOUSES.
