They guy was great. He came when promised, very prompt and did all the work including some little detail work that we wouldn't even expected him to do. He just took care of everything very beautifully, and set up the light fixtures very well. Whereas our kitchen was kind of dark before, the kitchen area now shines with light of several suns so the fan works and everything is good.

Paul was wonderful to work with! We had some issues with the lighting in our basement that another electrician from KWK had fixed in the past and it only lasted a year. Plus, that electrician couldn't tell me what was wrong he was going to just "fix it to make it work". Paul came in and knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it the right way. I had Paul fix multiple things around the house and he did a great job with each in a timely manner and reasonable prices. He is so nice and pleasant as well. I was going to have KWK come back but they were going to charge me a trip charge of $40+. I think Paul did a better job and he doesn't have a trip fee. I would recommend him to anyone!

Paul called me back within an hour or two of my original message and was able to schedule time the next day to come to our house and do the work we discussed and was quoted. He was in and out in a short amount of time and made sure everything was installed correctly and hung properly.

Excellent. Paul Griffin (owner) returned my call promptly and was able to come out that same afternoon. He arrived on time, was very professional, and made the needed repairs in a timely fashion. When he was finished he took the time to explain to me exactly what had happened and what he had done to fix the problem. Very happy with the work he preformed, thought his prices were very fair and I will definitly be using North Shore Electric/Paul Griffin for any electrical work in the future . I should mention Paul was mindful keep child gates/doors closed & locked as he moved between rooms while working to fix the problem - which as a mom to a young and very curious toddler, was greatly appreciated. Very highly recommend.

He responded on the same day and scheduled to come out in a few days. He called before he came and was pleasant and professional. The only thing I would have liked if he cleaned up more after himself and placed things back where they were.

Mr. Griffin responded to our request for service and scheduled a service appointment within a week of his initial response. On the appointed day he phoned ahead to apologize for being late (only by ten minutes!). He was very careful to be as neat as possible, including laying down cloths on floors and counters. He kept at the project until it was completed, spending the better part of a day. We had purchased our replacement fixtures in advance and even where they didn't quite fit, he made the necessary adjustments (including going out and purchasing some additional components) to make them work and make them not only useful but attractive. When he had completed his work, he carefully cleaned, including vacuuming. Beyond his good and reasonably priced work, he was very personable, explaining what he was doing and just being friendly, polite and courteous. We are very pleased; our previously dim and dark kitchen in which a ceiling fan was hanging like a sword of Damocles is now brightly lighted with properly functioning, neatly installed and attractive fixtures.

Paul G. arrived when promised. Listened carefully to description of problem. Did thorough Q & A. Using his meter, Paul quickly deduced 2 problems: #1 was quickly fixed without unnecessary replacement of parts (Paul moved power from bad breaker to good, spare breaker within service panel). #2: Paul quickly identified faulty neutral issue which was external to home and later corrected by WE Energies' repair of faulty connection to home (which very likely helped cause problem #1). Paul's appearance and performance were both very professional: He presents as a trained expert. Paul could have changed out parts to "run up the bill" and we would have been none the wiser, but he didn't. That's cool.

Very well!!! In addition to fixing the issue, he noticed another issue with the grounding in a light switch. He also fixed that and then took the time to check another light switch per my request. He is personable, professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to have in the house with good manners and a very personable style. He also was willing to take the old fixture and he re-cycles which I think is very important. I would hire him any time and plan to recommend him to any friend who needs electrical work done. I also really appreciated that he called me when he had a sudden opening and we got the work done a few days before the scheduled appointment. He is responsive to customer concerns. When he fit me in, he said that he could not be sure of the time and when the time passed that he projected, he called and let me know that he was still on another job and told me when he would arrive.

Paul Griffin was punctual, courteous, and professional. He did exactly what he said he would do, at the time he said he would do it. His work passed Inspection with no problem.

This is the second job Paul Griffin has completed for me. Again, as on the first job, the work was done with professional and care. The results are exceptional! In addition to bringing the wiring into compliance, Paul greatly improved the accessibility and and appearance of the outlets, which are in very visible locations within the rooms. The work was done in a timely manner, and for the price that had been quoted. In addition, while he was here, Paul also replaced five other outlets for a very reasonable additional cost. I think Paul takes pride in his work, and that makes meI feel confident that the work Paul does is done correctly and in the safest, most efficient manner. I highly recommend North Shore Electric, and plan to have additional work completed in the near future.

Very well...Everything was done exactly as I requested. All electrical was done flawlessly and the fans he installed work perfect.

I would recommend North Shore Electric, LLC to my family and friends without hesitation. Paul Griffin is professional, courteous, and thorough. He answered all my questions with information not only on what he recommended, but also why he was doing the work he did. I appreciate details, and he provided them. I was very impressed with his responsiveness to my message on Angie's List. I sent a message after business hours; he returned the message within an hour of my posting it. He followed up with a call the next morning as he stated he would do, and we scheduled an appointment later that same day. I asked Paul to provide an estimate for additional work. He did a great job, and I would feel confident working with him again!

I called him, he was out here within an hour and a half. He was very friendly, did the job correctly, and the price was right.

I was impressed with the same-day service. He was efficient and the charges were very reasonable. He also took the time to explain the work that he was performing. I plan to use North Shore Electric for additional services in the near future.

Went fine it all works still. However, he showed up an hour late with no apology.

The electric/lights went out in our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, office and hall way. We thought that it should take about an hour but...it took 2 days. First day Paul came, checked out everything but could find problem. This took over 5 hours. Nothing was fixed and infact a wire blew at the breaker when he was working on it. Paul was dumb founded that he could not find the problem. He had to return the next day with a few things he thought would help. Again, nothing was working. This was a mystery. Now we are into about 3 hours second day and nothing,. Finally he said that maybe he could run a completely new wire to the breaker box. I agreed and asked how long to do that job. He said maybe a hour and a half or sooner. Why didn't we do that in the first place? Daaa! Well, it worked all the lights worked, electric in kitchen, bathrooms, bed rooms and hall were now working. He did put in another (new) breaker switch in my upstairs panel, which blew out the day before, and that was working. Happy, happy, happy...but what about the cost? Well, Paul was great and said that since he didn't do anything or fix anything the day before and the hours the second day I didn't have to pay for that time. I did have to pay for the travel time and the l-l/2 hours to run the new cable line. I agreed and because of all the time spent frustrated with me and my home...I added and extra $50.00 and guess what he gave me a 10% senior discount. A day later all blew again. I called him and he told me to reset the switches and flip them again. I did and all is OK again. I had asked Paul to give me a quote on doing a new breaker box and wiring. He said he would get back to me. He did give me sort of a price verbally and I thought it fair. I liked his work and professionalism and he did say that he does a lot of work in the River Hills village. The only thing...as many have written, he does not get back with you. Return calls on time or follow thru. I am still waiting for him to give me a formal quote on doing a major job that I truly needed. He knows that I pay more than was asked. I think he has too much work or he needs someone to remind him of his promises to quote and get back to people. That could be the only reason I wouldn't call him again,

The work performed was high quality and the price was fair. The only drawback we had was the communication/ responsiveness. It took several phone calls to get the work scheduled after our initial estimate visit. Also, it took a few emails to get the final invoice after work was completed. I would recommend this service but it may take a little extra leg work to get scheduled on your part.
