I arrived home at 6:00 after a long day at work to find I couldn't get in the garage. And unbeknownst to my wife, her car was trapped inside. (She wondered what that loud "SPROINGGGG!" was!) She had to get her car out early the next day so we madly checked the internet for fixes (very dangerous don't attempt!) and called around to see who was available. Our neighbor suggested CDI and it turns out that the local CDI rep in Mukwonago lives in a neighboring subdivision. He interrupted his dinner, arrived at about 7:00 and was done by 8:30. Very professional, accomodating, and at a reasonable price.

One of the torsion springs broke on our 23 year old garage door. The bottom section of the door had seen better days and so we decided to replace the door. Alan at Consolidated was very helpful in explaining the differences between the various doors. We chose an insulated raised panel steel door. The broken spring on the old door prevented us from getting in the garrage. They were able to install our new door two days after we purchased the new door. Ray, the installer, was very thorough and even cleaned any smudges off the new door before leaving. The entire job took just under 3 hours. Great!

They make sure everything is there and funcitioning correctly. They are high quality at a lower cost. It would have cost more at a big commercial store installing it ourselves. They even take away the old door. They checked all of the springs and rails also checking the outside weather stripping making sure everything was sealed right. Everything is included in their price. They were really good. We even recommended them to our neighbors.

They come out promptly to give me an estimate and they offered a fair price. They were able to re-use one of the two motors for the opener rather than buy a new one. They offered to do that instead of trying to sell me a new one. The workers were courteous and the job done quickly.

After waiting a couple of weeks for the door to arrive and for it to be painted, Consolidated Door made an appointment for installation and arrived at the promised time. Two workers quickly installed the new steel door and attached the existing electric opener. New tracks were installed and new weatherstripping was applied to match the door frame. The addition of the window panels allows more light into the garage. The custom paint job matched the sample we gave the salesman and a warranty on the paint job was included. A month has gone by and all is great! Price included the 16x7 steel door, top section of lites ($100 discount from H&G Show), and custom paint job.

Based on a special they were running on their web site (and after checking Angie's list), I called the Mukwonago office. They were very responsive and helpful. They were able to have a technician out to the house on the day I wanted (2 days later) and he quickly installed a great door opener.

They came out the same day and gave us very practical information. Very courteous and did good work. We were very happy with the service and would recommend them.

I was serviced by the West Bend office. They were quick to provide a quote and very responsive to my tight time frame. Work was very professional and fast.

I contacted the company mid-afternoon about the problem and they were here the next morning at 8:00AM. I could have paid extra and had emergency repairs the same day, but the cost was pricey enough as it was. The repair was quickly completed and looks fine.

Very pleased; honest and easy to work with. The infrared beam receiver at the entrance to the door was faulty. I called at 8 am on Monday for service, and it was replaced at no cost within two hours.

Good experience. Knowledgeable salesman did not try to sell more than I needed and wanted. They were able to quickly schedule installation and the installation itself was quite fast, about 2-3 hours maximum. Am happy with both the product and the service.

THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT AND WAS DONE IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. THEY CALLED WITHIN HOURS OF OUR REPORTING THE PROBLEM TO OUR WARRANTY COMPANY AND THE WORK WAS DONE BY NOON OF THE SAME DAY. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESPONSE AND THE WORK DONE.

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. FROM THE MOMENT I CALLED, FRED STAYED IN TOTAL COMMUNICATION WITH ME. EVEN BROUGHT SAMPLES DOWN TO MY OFFICE. ORDERED DOORS ON 1/14/04 AND WERE INSTALLED ON 1/26/04. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT QUALITY, GREAT COMPANY. THANK YOU!!

ASKING CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR SERVICE CALL AND WORK THAT DOESN''T FIX THE PROBLEM, IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS. THE PROVIDER CAME TO FIX THE MOTOR ON THE GARAGE DOOR. IT WORKED FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS. I HAD TO TURN TO ANOTHER VENDOR.
