I had the misfortune to discover a bubble in my tire. It had to be replaced for safety.  Costco had the best price in town, although they wouldn't tell me what it was over the phone. The manager was very nice. He didn't realize at first there was a bubble in the tire and told me my tires had good tread and didn't need to be replaced. After I let him know the situation, he ordered the tires and set up an appointment for me to come back. They didn't have the tires in stock and I had to wait a couple days.  I was running late, so I called about 15 minutes ahead of the appointment. It was then I learned that the tires hadn't been put on the truck. Costco had called my husband's phone, but didn't leave a message. It was late in the day and I was scheduled to leave for a long road trip the next day.  This was the worst possible situation! The manager handled it well - he offered to refund my money and cover the difference if I purchased the tires elsewhere. However, the refund was a hassle because no one knew the situation after he had left for the day. All in all, it wasn't a great experience. I give the manager credit for his honesty and effort to make it right, but simply forgetting to deliver a product which has been paid for and missing an appointment is bad business.

Nice selection of frames.....very reasonably priced and most are designer. I could not believe the final price of everything. I have progressive lenses and I also have the lenses that transition when in the sun. I was so impressed by their service (the glasses came in early) that I ordered a second pair for back up. Several years ago I had a bad fall and broke my glasses including the lenses, so now I am a lot more careful and make sure I have a back up pair. Can't see much without glasses!
Premium service and quality...something I have grown to expect from Costco.

Costco, for us, is a mixed bag. Sometimes the prices are quite incredible but you have to buy large quantities of many items - our kids have moved out so we don't need 500 napkins, for instance. We have been very impressed with meats at Costco - particularly the lamb which is inexpensive and routinely excellent. Also, we have purchased some small appliances and can get a good price but brand selection is limited. Locating specific items in the store can be challenging. But overall, we like Costco for selected purchases.

I have made several returns (items that didn't fit or I changed my mind about) and found the return process to be astonishingly easy and pleasant. I find all the staff there to be pleasant, well-informed and helpful.

Carpet is very nice (Shaw carpet) but installation is terrible. Seams are very visible in two of the rooms. They came back and installed new carpeting a second time and it came out looking worse than it did the first time. They simply do not know how to install carpet. The installer claims that this is how carpet always looks. Paid too much money for something that just doesn't look nice at all. Would never recommend them. We got the carpet through Costco and they used Hand R Carpets in Waunakee to service us.

The dealer had by far the best pricing in the area. The work was scheduled and done on time and in a punctual manner. The technicians were most accomodating. Follow up service for checking tire pressure, etc. is included.

I did not purchase at time of visit because I did not have the perscription with me. The quality is excellent and the prices fair. I will get my replacement glasses there.

It was very good, which surprised the heck out of me. It was much easier to get in to see an eye doctor than it was at any formal clinic. Once I got there, it was very inexpensive. I was very surprised at how professional it was. I can't think of anything I didn't like. They were very good at answering my questions and concerns. There was just one guy, an optometrist.

Our prescriptions are always ready as requested, the staff is very friendly and takes the time to talk with each customer.

Great tire experience. Costco was quick, knowledgeable and the price was right. There were no slimy sales techniques that you get elsewhere. The only issue that we encountered is that 2 of our hubcaps fell off within a week of the tire change, but we will just check on the hubcaps next time. Overall, the best tire buying experience I have ever had. Warranty is great too!

We read in some consumer issue that Costco in terms of being a big box store, they actually did pretty good deal with eyeglasses, that they were good, and that their service was good, they didn't have a big selection but my daughter said she just needed glasses to read the lecture hall notes, and they were not expensive. Our insurance covers one vision exam every year by a certified optometrist and so they had done a careful measurement of the distance between her eyes so she brought that prescription with her and then she handed that over to the clerk and I believe the clerk may have done also some of her own measurements just to make sure that the glasses that was selected would be okay, to work with her face and that prescription so that all went well. We just went through the racks, found something and the woman said that will work so that was good. She was very courteous and she gave her opinion more like a 25-year old to a 22-year old, that was a good thing. She was friendly, she did her job. I think overall it was a good experience. They called a couple of days later so we went out and picked them up. The nice thing was we were allowed to use that service through Costco even though they knew we were not members, in fact we had to go into the store with a card-carrying member who was our dear neighbor. They did not even require that our neighbor be there when we went to pay for the glasses. We didn't get a discount because we were not members but we got to use that service. The only drawback was that they had a limited selection so if you just want a back up for your glasses, you can go there but if you're really into fashion or you're really concerned about your looks or very vain, I don't think you would want to end up going there. The service was very good and very prompt. The place was very clean and very nice. You get what you pay for.

The cost of the new glasses was $195 and the repair was free. Their prices were great. The product was customized to meet our needs. They delivered when they said they would.

My experience was great. The tire guys were very efficient and got my car quickly in and out.

It's nice because they offer free tire rotation so you can get that done while you shop. I chose them for the convenience and the price.

After selecting a $65 frame, and opting for anti-glare coating on the progressive polycarbonate (= basic, no frills lenses) I shelled out $180 for replacement glasses. These replaced a $130 frame and same lens configuration, which totaled nearly $340 the previous summer (thanks to a limited insurance, my out-of-pocket was about $200). I was told they'd be there in 7-10 days and got a call 8 days later that they were in. Free lifetime adjustments, plus they put silicone eyepads in when they came in instead of the plastic ones they came with. I also really like the free refills on cleaning solution! Highly recommend Costco for purchasing glasses, but have not ever used their in-house eye doc.
