Description of Work: Under the sink had to be re-plumbed in order for new dishwasher to be installed by another Contractor. He was able to stop by the day after we called to complete the job. I'm a new homeowner, so I have no idea how much plumbers cost, but it seemed a little high for 20 minutes of work. I have nothing to compare it to, so it was probably fair. He came very well recommended on the Nextdoor app as well as on Angie's List.

+ -1 moreThe plumber clearly wanted to find and hurt whoever had done the work before him. To me an indication that he took his profession seriously. He was very open to whatever I'd wanted to do. Had I been dim enough to want the original toilet back in place he might have done it. He had a new Kohler toilet in his truck, and was able to quickly get us a replacement low flush crapper. I think it took him no more than three hours to get all the work done. The cost charged for the toilet itself was reasonable.
Description of Work: Our toilet was leaking around its base, and there was a 'funky' smell that I knew was sewer gas. I assumed that the wax ring was shot, and the plumber agreed when he heard my description of the situation over the phone. When he pulled the toilet up we discovered that the previous owner of our house did the flooring of the bathroom himself. He'd neglected to solder the collar back onto the cast iron pipe, and had set a toilet back in place that must have been rusted out for decades.
