It went good. Nice guys. No mess. Would use again and recommend.

They called a couple of times to reschedule. Showed up earlier than scheduled. Did not actually go up to inspect chimney. Cleaned inside of firebox and that was it. asked to have chimney caps installed to keep birds out. Said he would come back in a couple of weeks to install them. That was three months ago. Have heard nothing since. Another overrated Angie's List provider.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent Arrived on time, 2 men who thorougly and professionally cleaned my chimmey. They inspected the chimmeny on the roof and made minor repairs in the fireplace. They were professional, honest and friendly.

It was annoying to have to communicate through the Angie's message system rather than directly by email (which delayed communications by about a day on each end), but we connected and the work was great, and the folks were quite nice.

Called Jake based upon overall positive reviews of his services because I had a Chimney leaking a little bit on my OSB board in my garage. It was 12/23 he came out to look at the chimney. He told me I needed new flashing and a chimney liner for $800 total but couldn't do it until it got warmer. I thought it was a good price & I could pay it all cash but would like it done as soon as possible. On Christmas Day night I came home to a much worse situation and so I called him the next morning and left a message on machine basically asking him to do whatever he could do to help me fix the leak. Also tried calling him again at noon that day but just got an answer machine again. I called another Angieslist contractor ranked very highly for roofing and siding and got a very reasonable price AND he came out on Saturday 12/28 because it was our last warm day before this harsh winter so he could do my flashing but didn't do Chimney liners. It stopped the leak thank God. Basically I thought Jake seemed like a nice guy but he is not very punctual. If for some reason he was on vacation he should have made that clear on his answering machine. I have yet to hear from him and have already moved on to another company that can do Chimney linings because he never even had the decency to call me back when I needed him the most when the leak got really bad. I do not recommend.

We left the house (at their suggestion) during the actual cleaning to preserve our hearing. On the whole, they were excellent, and they are going to return when weather permits to add a screen to one of our chimneys that's missing one and to also cap off the chimney that the furnace and water heater used to use. All in all, excellent work, excellent service. We'd use them again with no hesitation.

They used new tarps to protect my white carpet and were fast and efficient. They identified cracks in my chimney cap that need repair and gave me an estimate to do so. They were pleasant and quick. I would use them again in the future.

scheduling was a little difficult, and he cancelled on me once. But the service he provided was good and fast.

They swept out the fireplace and cleaned the whole chimney of soot so we feel safe making fires in it. He did a thorough job and we would be happy to hire him again.

We had him come out to clean our chimney since it had been two years. He cleaned it the last time and did a terrific job. He was so honest when he came out this year and said that it really didn't need to be cleaned and that we could wait another year. We were happy to save the money this year and are thrilled to find someone so reliable, honest, and good at what he does.

(Classic Chimney's) Jake cleaned my fireplace in October 2012. At that time he found serious flue and cap problems that would have caused a fire in my condo had I used it! His synopsis was the damage occurred from high winds Evidently, when these condo's were built middle 1980's the installations did not meet code and the flue was never attached to any inside wall?.. just free floating. Jake had numerous contacts with the management It company, Carryl Company, to no a vail. I finally said I would pay for the repairs It took until November 18, 2013 before the board allowed some of the repairs. Jake is a true professional! He continued to get the fireplace repairs done correctly and with the responsibility from the condo association. He performed the entire work within one day. There is a life time warranty on all that was replaced/done.. I would HIGHLY recommend "Classic Chimneys" for anything related to a chimney!

They did a great job, offered advice, and were punctual. I definitely would contact them again for the same service.

There was early confusion as to whether they would come to our town, which was within the range their add specified. Once that was clarified, things went well. It only took about an hour to have the chimney cleaned.

They showed up on time, were friendly and didn't make a mess. It's hard to put a price on peace of mind, but $99 seems like a bargain. They finished in under an hour and gave me some pointers about how to improve efficiency and which woods to avoid (I had some pine scraps laying in the fireplace). Overall I'm very happy with the results.

Great, he was on time, did a good job, and was a general nice guy. He left me a certificate stating the chimney was in good condition and usable. He had a little trouble finding my house, but called and we got him here in short order. BTW, my house is hard to find.

Jake worked with me to fit us into his busy fall schedule for a chimney/fireplace cleaning and inspection. They arrived very promptly and did a great job. No mess whatsoever in the house. Would definitely have them back!
