Jake arrived just a few minutes late. He and his helper jumped right in, worked hard and did a fine job. There were a couple of loose bricks which he repaired. He was very professional and efficient. He also went on the roof and checked things out there. Last year he put new caps on my chimney and did a great job of that. I think he really knows his chimneys. He left the room clean and tidy.

We woke up one night to a bat flying over our bed. We suspected it came in thru our chimney as we'd had this problem in the past. I had Jake out to take a look. He discovered that the current chimney screen had openings large enough to allow animals to get thru. Also a fair amount of bat droppings near the chimney cap. We set a date for him to do the repair. He was prompt for both appointments, his price was very fair and I feel confident in his work. I will definately call him again when I need the chimney cleaned or any other chimney work.

Everything was terrific. They came when they said they would come. They did the job quickly. We spent $3000. I will consider using this company in the future.

The guys at Classic Chimney were punctual and professional. They came out within a week of my initial phone call. They cleaned out the chimney and the fireplace and the area was spotless when they left. I needed a new chimney cap and they were able to replace that during the same visit.

They were a great crew on time cleaned the chimney painted the metal caps and suggested to fill some cracks on the cap. Would recommend them to anyone. Also great price compared to other companies.

Very professional, didn't try to talk us into extra work like another company did. On time, very good price compared to the competition. We'll use them in the future for our chimney sweeping and on going house maintenance (since we have a brick house).

They were excellent. They came on time and they seemed to be very knowledgeable. They were neat and they seemed to be very willing to write up and describe what was wrong with my chimney and they also told me what was right with the chimney and didn't need repair.

Jake came within 24 hour to give a quote, and returned the quote immediately. Compared to another quote, which wanted to rebuild the whole chimney from the roofline, and cost 2-3 times as much, he was very reasonable. We discussed whether rebuilding was really required, and I felt confident of his assurance that its not. Schedules required a two-week wait to get the work done, but it was partially due to our travel. They were on time and performed the work within the 4-5 hour window projected. They was professional, clean, and willing to show me what was going on. A friend, who is an HVAC specialist, told me later that the detailed connections of the flume exiting the boiler and into the chimney should be tilted opposite to the way it was installed, but it is probably not a big deal. So, this loses points for me on Classic Chimney. But the no-nonsense professionalism and a sense that I was not being taken advantage of by prescribing more than needed work is of great value.
