I hired ProGuard to conduct an air test, and it came back negative.

Great! Gary was very honest, had a firm handshake, and did not try to oversell me. He explained the big picture and then made recommendations on what would be the most cost efficient. He also explained the equipment he was using and the process of how the results would be received. He was very thorough. The price I paid was for more than the regular mold testing and I would definitely recommend him again!

Gary was extremely professional and is overall a great guy. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a straight forward opinion and estimate on a job. He came in and looked at my concern and told me the job was small enough for me to do on my own and not only educated me on mold and what to look for for probably a good half hour but also told me how to do it on my own. The consultation was free, and crash course in mold was also. At that point I just decided to have him do the treatment because anyone who takes the time to educate and give personal advice (especially to me as a new homeowner, and father) is great in my book. I cannot say enough good things about Gary and how he runs his business. He has a great work ethic, is very responsive, and takes ownership and pride in what he does. Thanks a lot Gary!

PHENOMENAL!! Gary is a true professional (and nice guy). He is a CRMR (Certified Residential Microbial Remediator) among other certifications (WRT & FSRT - water and fire/smoke damage). He was always on time and went out of his way to explain the process - what needed to be done and why. His quote was a few hundred dollars less than another certified person, and $2000 less than the third person I called (who was also the worst by far of the three). Gary distinguished himself with his courteousness, extreme professionalism, and being personable. Regardless of price, he was the person I was most comfortable going with. The fact he was the most affordable made it all the better. I was not disappointed. Attic mold was removed BY HIM IN AUGUST in, what I'm sure, was an extremely hot attic. He did everything he said he would. My wife, who was not directly involved in our conversations, was home and he could not have been nicer to her explaining what he was doing. He could have sent someone else to do the job, but did it himself because of our situation. He also provided very valuable input and ended up guiding me through the steps on how to resolve the attic ventilation issues once and for all. Very clean with drop cloths placed and everything cleaned up without exception. A true pleasure to work with!!

Gary is extremely professional in every way. He did a fantastic job -- quickly, reliably and responsibly. They were very clean and conscientious about not damaging my house or yard. He also answered all my questions about some other areas of my house that I wanted his opinion on. I would recommend PuroClean to all my friends and use them again should the need arise. The whole process was very professional and went smoothly. Gary was very prompt in setting up an appointment with us when we let him know what issues we had. He showed up and had some great tools to help him assess our problem. He took the time to explain to us the issues that he was seeing and how he would address them. After he assessed the situation, he sent us a thorough report of the issues and a very reasonable quote to remedy the problems. We scheduled a time for them to come out and perform the work and they showed up on time and had all of the necessary equipment. They took care in dealing with the job with attention to detail on the little things like making sure that they took out two feet of drywall so that it was easier to repair after since drywall is 4x8 and would allow us to cut a sheet of drywall in two and set it on the wall. They also took care in how they dealt with our bar area and the surrounding cabinetry. Again, after the job was over, Gary walked us through what they did and how to prevent issues from happening going forward. Very professional. While we hope we don't have any other mold issues going forward, we would gladly use Gary and PuroClean if we do.

We have had a few complaints from visitors regarding odors in the house. Gary provided the equipment to clean and remove the odors. The results have been very positive. He was very prompt in his arrival and the cost was competitive. I would recommend his company and would use him again.

He got rid of mold, and the stain in the wood. Very professional, and we felt very confident with their ability. Provided all services as detailed, and explained procedures extremely well.

This is a very professional cleaning service. The owner took time to explain the process and he provided a contract that outlined every detail. He was also frequently on scene and did some of the work himself. He answered every question I had.

We had a wall in our bungalow that had developed a mold problem likely due to ice dams on the roof above. Gary came out to the house, used several pieces of equipment to locate the possible spot that the mold was in, and advised us. He explained in detail what health issues and structural damage mold causes and why. He was extremely informative. Once he determined that the mold was confined to a small space under the window, he explained that a full job would entail him having a crew come and tear out the wallboard, and then complete the clean up and treatment. But, because I felt I could to the tear out, he offered the alternative of coming out just to complete the clean up and treatment. We went over the safety precautions I needed to take to tear out the wall in detail. He could have just done the entire job which would have probably cost double or triple what doing just the clean up would cost. I completed my part on a Friday and he was out the next Monday for his part. He completed the cleanup and treatment quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated the fat that he was so sensitive to our situation and came up with the most cost effective way to complete it. I highly recommend Puroclean because of Gary.

It was during the home inspection phase that mold was found in the attic and basement of my mother?s home that were were selling, we received a recommendation to contact Gary. We did not want to do extensive work and found the task of finding contractors a daunting process. Reluctantly, I contacted Gary in addition to a few other mold remediation specialists, but found Gary to be the most responsive and he came out to the house when it was most convenient for me. From beginning to end, Gary was extremely understanding to our family situation, truly demonstrating compassion beyond what we expected. It is rare to find professionals in any field, who carry out their mission statement as remarkably as he does. Gary was meticulous in the mold survey and explained in detail each step he would take in removing the mold. He and his team were ready to work immediately the following week and met our deadline as requested. Gary was very personable and yet very professional, he really made us feel at ease about the work being done. We were very impressed by the mold remediation done in the attic and basement, it was so clean with no traces of the mold previously found. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone in need of such services and I am confident you won?t be disappointed.

The job went well. Water that spilled on my hardwood floor was removed and dried, before it permanently damaged my floor. Gary did a great job, using the best equipment and diagnostics to perform the work. He was professional and punctual. I am very satisfied with the work done.

We had a hot water heater leak that we started to clean up ourselves when we quickly realized we had a larger problem on our hands. We called Gary the next morning and he was extremely responsive and showed up within hours of the call. He is a true professional and reassured me that we made the right call even though we attempted to clean up the water mess ourselves. The water had soaked a carpet and carpet pad and had spread to some drywall in our basement. Our number one fear was mold growth so that was the main purpose for contacting PuroClean. Gary is very knowledgeable and he quickly came up with a plan to salvage our carpet and drywall. Gary did all of the work himself and explained every step of the process to me, I knew within 5 minutes of meeting him that we were in good hands and everything was going to be fine. He followed up the next day to apply antimicrobial treatment to all impacted areas and within 2 days everything was dry and back to normal. The final bill was quite a bit less than his original estimate, I appreciate a company that is not out trying to take advantage of people in emergency situations. Gary was a pleasure to work with and someone I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of this type of service. I hope to never need this type of service in the future, but if I do, Gary will be my first call!

This was a huge job and i was very scared to hear that i had a mold issue and to top it one of this size! Gary Stienhart ,owner of puroclean Property Damage Restoration ,was prompt,super friendly ,amazingly clear and thorough on how this would be handled and completed the job in less time then i was quoted !He was very conserned about my tenants not being inconvienienced while they were working in the home . The price was 1/3 the cost i was told be another company! Gary was prompt in returning our calls and was very easy to deal with when it came to scheduling an appointment. He did a thorough inspection of the mold problem including going into a crawl space to see how far the mold went. Gary has an x-ray hand held device that measures temperature behind walls that can help in finding potential molding problems. I don't remember what he called it but he showed us what he was looking at and in using that device it was very helpful to see in areas that we couldn't see without taking down all the walls. After identifiying where the problem was he sent us a straight forward proposal and what the cost was going to be. Gary and one of his guys came out to our house and were in and out of our home in approx 5-6 hours. They did a great job cleaning up the problem in our bathroom and in the crawlspace under the bathroom. Gary went out of his way to make sure we understood what he was going to do and never hesitated in answering any concerns or questions we had. His professionalism and great attitude made it a pleasure to do business with. He was very accommodating, always accessible through phone, emails, and or text messages. I can't tell you what a big deal this was for us personally. We highly recommend his services.

I called PuroClean the morning after the accident occurred and by the end of that day Gary had set up his equipment to dry out the affected areas in the house. After everything was dry Gary was back to test and inspect the areas to assess the damage. Gary then provided me with the scope of the work and names of contractors that he works with, he also asked if I wanted to use any of my own. Because I didn't have the time to manage this project I left if up to Gary and his contractors to do the repairs, I have to say they did an awesome job, not only did they complete the repairs on time and as quoted, they also completed some additional work for myself which turned out fantastic. Gary (owner of PuroClean) was a pleasure to work with, he was both conscientious and sympathetic to our situation especially while working in the different area's of our house. His communication between us and our insurance company was great, we didn't have to wait on anyone/ thing and the claim was processed quickly. I would definitely use PuroClean again if such a disaster would happen again and would certainly use them for their other offerings if need be.

I noticed an odor on the lower floor of my bi-level home. My chimney was recently repaired as it was leaking pretty bad. I assumed I had a mold issue but was not sure. As I rent my home, I made a call to the landlord explaining what I thought the problem was. He gave me the go ahead to call someone to check out the problem. After searching online, I found PuroClean and called for an appointment. Talked with Gary Steinhart. He was able to schedule an appointment within a week. He came out to inspect my home. He was extremely polite and very informative. Explained everything he thought was going on. He scheduled all the appointments he would need to complete the job. Upon actually beginning to uncover the mold problem, it was discovered that carpentry work would also be needed. Gary contacted my landlord. He made all the arrangements required to complete all that had to be done, not only the mold remediation but the carpentry and the drywaller. He was also on time for all his appointments and kept me informed all the way through to the end. Having a problem like mold can be very stressful and Gary made the process very manageable. I also found when contacting the office of PuroClean that all the associates were also extremely polite and very helpful. I would recommend PuroClean to anyone.

Today , September 26, 2014, Gary from Proclean came out to do the actual work. We are selling our home so it is important to us that the mold remediation is done efficiently by someone who is certified. He told us exactly what he was going to do; step by step. He made a plastic sheath which was attached at the opening of the attic and had a HEPA air cleaner going to keep the air fresh and help dry the products he was using. We couldn't actually see him doing the job but he told us he first sprayed the suspected mold with an antimicrobial agent and then used a stain remover( with a bleach odor) to remove any discoloration caused by any mold. He wore a special disposable suit, shoe protectors, and special breathing mask to perform the task. The job took approximately 5 hours to complete and all clean up was done quickly. I complained a little about the odor as it affects my sinuses, and he quickly ran his HEPA air cleaner for about 20 minutes and the air was just fine when he left! He was very personable, professional, and made a great impression on us. We would highly recommend ProClean to anyone searching for a professional company to handle their restorative needs.

We received these services as a generous gift from my husband's boss following some smoke damage in our home.Gary Steinhart, the owner, came to our house to assess the damage. He was clear and professional in his recommendations. He was also very informative. It is very apparent that he takes great pride in his company and the quality of work that they do! While he was here, I asked for his opinion on some mold in the basement and let him know that we would like to pay for any remediation that would have to be done. He informed us that the mold was not as bad as we thought it might be and that he would take care of it on a subsequent trip free of charge! All of the services performed purified and cleaned the air so well, you would never know there had been any issues. It smelled better than it did prior to the incident! PuroClean (GARY) did a outstanding job with mitigating the water from all the office decor and furniture. He was very responsive to our initial call and represented our company as if he was one of us. He worked both with our company and our customer to assure scheduling the cleanup was accommodating to the customers needs and was considerate and sensitive to the office workers activities. Gary did all the proper steps to assure that no mold would occur post cleanup by the use of tools and meters to prove moisture levels in office contents were at or below acceptable levels. PuroClean was competitively priced and we have decided to move all our mitigation / general liability loses to them.

We were pleased as Gary came in, examined our situation and provided us with options. We appreciated all the details he provided as this was a new experience for us and we needed someone we could trust. He provided answers to our questions before the work began so we knew what would happen and he spoke with us frequently during the work. These update made us feel comfortable with the status of the work at all times. He was very easy to work with and was flexible meeting us at our house when it worked for our schedule. The work was done on budget and within the timeframe we agreed at the beginning of the work.

The service was fantastic. They arrived within hours of our call and started immediately on the clean up. He also provided references for outside contractors that were also very responsive and professional. We had our house dry within 5 days and the repairs scheduled within a week. I would recommend Puroclean for any type of recovery, fire, water, etc.

Went very well. Initially came on a Saturday to assess and then began remediation. Then finished up on Monday with New drywall and Molding. You can't even tell that there was ever an issue with the wall. Gary was very upfront about costs and came in a little under his original estimate.
