Description of Work: JM Borgwardt Construction was involved in the following project. |Replace Roof to eliminate Ice Dam problem. |Reflash/Rebuild fire place chimney pipe surround. |Repair Water Damage from Ice dam problem. |Remove paneling and beams from family room area and |repair damages to drywall from paneling and beam removal. | |I was looking for a contractor willing to perform all of these items. |Jan Borgwardt was easy to work with, his crews and subcontractors were |skilled and worked together as a team. |I was somewhat flexible with scheduling this and we worked things out so |that the job was completed without much trouble from rain events. |While I'm planning on doing finish painting on the interior family room project, the drywall finishing to sand texture turned out very nice looking. | |I'm pleased with the results of this project and will contact Borgwardt construction in the future for help with possible remodeling projects. |

Description of Work: We have jobs done by Borgwardt Construction annually since 1980. We own a farm and rental houses.Most recently a small tornado took they end off my barn and damaged my machine shed (55 x 30). Borg Const and a few others were called and several did not respond. Jan gave me an estimate, got the job and completed it at the price and time estimated. He always uses a contract form to be clear on the work and price. Several farmers said the job looked better than before. The barn debree needed to be removed., walls set up, roof restructure and whole south side of barn with new metal roof. The machine shed roof needed repair and new complete metal roof. The storm caused the building to lean about one+one half feet east. Jan figured how to straighten it. All repairs done within estimate and on time... When we have a problem, Jan saves the day Afew years ago he replaced the tenty-two windows of our house in a few days saving us a good percent of the fuel bill. ED Filemyr

Description of Work: side doors on barn blem in during a storm, they came out in bad weather reframed side of barn and installed steel siding work was done in bad weather, yet they were always professional would definitely recommend
