This company is the best for garage door servicing. We had 4 garage doors in 2 locations (over 60 miles apart) serviced by them in the last month. In each case the work performed was excellent, efficiently completed, and at a very reasonable cost. They are truly experts -- immediately they zeroed in on the causes of our problems and fixed them. Our garage doors have never operated as well as they do now after I Know A Guy LLC worked on them. We highly recommend this company.

Very well! He came earlier than expected, texted me to let me know when he'd get here, told me how to do maintenance myself in the future, and told me about my garage door. It wasn't closing and now it does! He also put on a new bracket and it was only $15. And I know what the problem was and how to fix it should it happen again in the future. I will be calling "I Know a Guy" when I need to replace my garage door. He was kind, professional, helpful, and quick!

TJ is absolutely AWESOME! really, I cannot say enough good things about this young man. We had a mishap with our garage door that caused the top 2 panels to get broken. I called TJ, left a message and he called me back within an hour- the same day he was out to look at my garage door- he needed to call a vendor for the price and since it was late- he got back with me the next day- we agreed on a price and he ordered the door parts- two work days later he was back with the panels (of course this all happened on a Thursday, so my wife had to park outside over the, thankfully dry Washington weekend) and had them installed in a matter of minutes (it's always a thrill to watch someone who knows that they are doing) I will definitely call TJ again when I need his help

They were really personable and responsive but I never called them back on that adjuster so I need to see him on that. They misadjusted a spring.

Greased parts. Tightened all bolts. Checked track and fixed vibration. Tested. Explained proper maintenance. Very helpful. Worth the price.

It was a bit difficult to schedule a time to have my garage door maintenance done. When we finally agreed on a time, they were prompt, and friendly. Adjustment were made to my garage door that improved the function of the door; it has never worked better now that it is adjusted properly! I would defiantly work with this company again!

They did really good. They were absolutely great. We highly recommend them. The Big Deal was a bargain.

TJ was great....he was prompt, did great work, no mess, no surprises with cost - exactly as quoted. Delighted with product and experience, with ONE exception.....I had him measure a glass sliding door for replacement. He was going to call me back after talking to his supplier, but never heard back from him. Disappointing because he's a very competent, nice guy and I would have loved to give him more work. The lack of follow up is the only reason for the 'C' rating on responsiveness.

The old door had been damaged. He just kept putting me off and putting me off. Come to find out after talking to his helper, is what he would do is go bid all these jobs and get all these jobs and not finish the first jobs. His attitude was not so good. I needed to have the door adjusted so it closed all the way across the bottom and he said that's the way they all fit, the floor is crooked. The price he charged me was in the ball park since I shopped around so I have no issues with the price.

They called before arrival, and arrived on time. Were quick, clean and courteous. I was very pleased with their service and the value.

Everything went great. TJ was very professional and explained everything he was going to do and what he did.

It took him less than hour to do the job. He did an excellent job. He recommended two garage doors, he recommend a system that in the future I could add a second door opening using the same system. He recommend one that I can lock, it?s an automatic lock one. What it does is as it closes, it also close the bolt automatically. Three years later it's still going strong. He came out the day I called him.

Everything went great. He was very professional. He gave me a fair bid and was able to get the work done quickly.

It was actually a rental property. He just took the door that was in there out and put a new door in. He did the job pretty quickly and did a good job. I didn't have a problem. It was a pretty cheap job. I was happy with the job and the price. It was reasonable. The realtor that I was working with at the time mentioned him and he just lived three houses down. Actually, I never even met the guy because I don't live there. I talked to him on the phone. There was nothing in there but garbage. I told him to go and look at it. It was unlocked. He went out there and had the door in there right away and sent me a bill. It was quick, fast and I was happy with the job. He was prompt and fast. It wasn't a very fancy door and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. The quality was above average.

I've recommended him to everybody I know. He is good. They were dependable. They were here when they said they would be here. They put the door in and it is perfect. They were in and out and they cleaned up and I never had any trouble with it at all. I've had good service from them. He was the cheapest and they knew what they were doing.

I was impressed a few years back with the initial installation and impressed again today with how they stand by their garage door installation. When I initially contacted I Know A Guy they were the easiest to contact (phone and text messaging). My work schedule can make it challenging but TJ was able to come out quickly, he was both personable & professional, and he gave me a very reasonable bid that worked with my budget. I was impressed and after I got a couple more bids realized that he was the most responsive and professional of the group hands down. In very short order, my new garage door installation was scheduled and completed without a hitch. I was very pleased with both the process and the result. More recently when my garage door started acting up, I texted TJ. He responded promptly and again we were able to coordinate our schedules. He fixed the problem and surprisingly did not charge me as he stood by the initial installation. Wow! You don't come across that very often anymore. I would recommend I Know A Guy without reservation and will use them again in the future if needed - after all I do have two teenage drivers :)

Arrived on schedule. Completed work in short order and did not overcharge. Very helpful and professional.

I purchased a living social voucher for $49 for a garage door tuneup. I scheduled an appointment and they didn't show up, nor did they call. When I called after 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I was told they weren't coming because another apointment went too long. The second scheduled time the guy was 1.5 hours late. Then, the "tune-up" was just him tightening a few screws (one of which he broke the top off of) then raising and lowering the garage door a few times and telling me it needed a new opener and a new door. I asked him to adjust the springs but said that any other work wasn't covered under the deal and would require additional payment. I asked him how that wasn't considered part of a "tune-up" and he didn't have a good response. His partner called me the next day and offered to "make it right" but I said that I wasn't interested. I would not recommend them to anyone; spend a little more for a quality repair.
