Repairman showed up on time--- after looking at the loose cable, he reattahed it and adjusted the spring while commenting that he had no compatible hardware if anything ws broken. After adjustment and about 20 minutes work, the door worked well again. He told me his charge would have to include 39.95 for the service call and a minimum labor charge of 89.95. With tax and all the bill was 141.00 for no parts and some adjutments taking 20 minutes. He did the job ok, but that would work out to about 250.00 per hour. I think you will agree that this is too much.

Our technician, Mike Westfall, from Precision Door was the first to respond and the only company to perform an on-site estimate. We had multiple issues we were trying to resolve, so I really feel like the on-site estimate was perfect and presented us with the options we needed to make the best decision for our needs. Precision Door is excellent, very professional, with people who really know their stuff. This was an awesome experience!

The pros I hired first never showed up. These guys showed up on time and fully stocked for any situation. Good thing - I called in a broken spring but it ended up that my wires were frayed, rollers were at the end of their usefulness; even the tube needed replacing. All done quickly and neatly. Now I'm good forever thanks to lifetime warrantees.

Next day service on time with experienced technician who completed the job in the time he indicated. Here the old adage of you get what you pay for holds true as while this service might be more expensive than some, the knowledge that you have a reliable product properly installed is worth the difference. This outfit deserves the high ratings it gets from consumers.

The technician was knowledgeable and professional. We ended up getting a whole new opener installed - which meant we paid much more than we were expecting - but the new opener is incredibbly quiet and smooth. Seriously, sometimes just go out in the garage to push the button and sit in awe as the door goes up and down - vitually zero noise. Much better than our rattly opener which shook the bonus room above as if an earthquake had hit. So in the end, although we ended up forking out some dough, we have been very pleased with the product and service. A lifetime warrenty also makes things nic

The installation was good. Quality components throughout. We ran into a major snag on the installation where plumbing got in the way in the of the rails for one of the two garage doors, and I ended up reworking my plumbing between installation days and unfortunately found out that mark installation marking point I plumbed to wasn't right. Therefore additional changes had to be made to the rail height on the fly. Also low clearance brackets had to be installed. In the end this was a tough installation but its done, and the garage doors open and close right. The four of five stars rating accounts for the overlooked plumbing issue.
