Description of Work: After 35 years of living in the same house we had a very packed basement / crawl space. The 2 young men that showed up made 2 very full trips to dump. Event through the fee was higher than I was expecting, the amount of work that they getting stuff out of a very cramped space was worth it. Excellent job right down to the sweep out at the end.

Description of Work: I was hoping not to fill the truck, but I more than filled the truck with all of the carpeting and flooring I had removed from my home. It saved me quite a few trips to the dump, but the main reason I had them come out rather than make the dump runs was that the local dump did not take furniture. The cost of 1800junk doing the work rather than doing it myself was fairly comparable.

Description of Work: I had an upright piano that needed to go and I contacted other junk removers who said they would take piano and then cancelled at the last minute. 1-800-GOT-Junk arrived when they said they would and took piano away. The only thing I had a problem with was the price as my husband and I had done the hard work of moving the piano to the bed of a pickup and the crew only had to roll it out of bed and into their truck (5 minutes or less) would have been nice to have been given a price break for our making it easier on them. Overall I was satisfied with them and my piano is gone.

Description of Work: |I wanted to have them take some broken and excess furniture when we moved. I thought it was a small amount but they wanted almost 600 dollars to do it. I sent them away and threw it into my pickup ( 2 loads ) 1.5 hour and $58 dump fees did the job. I understand that they need to cover their cost but the price they quoted was beyond reasonable.

+ -1 moreI called about clearing the clutter I inherited after my parents death in the late 90s. The 1-800-GOT-JUNK national rep. Answered ALL of my questions, scheduled my appt., emailed my confirmation and a $30 off coupon. Dan and Buck showed up on time. They were friendly, professional, and unshaken by all my junk. I had a mountain of worthless stuff dating back to the 60s. My parents stockpiled a variety of items and rarely threw anything away, including old mildewed storage chests, broken diving gear and oxygen tanks. While the crew was busy loading, I ran around looking for anything in my garage and yard to toss: soggy planter boxes, broken patio furniture, remodeling scraps, dilapidated toys & gear. All I had to do was point at whatever and Dan or Buck would grab it and toss it. I feel such a sense of psychological freedom. The burden of my parents estate and 9 years of my family's accumulated junk was gone within 40 min. And it didn't cost me a bundle.
