This provider showed up at my house, stayed for 12 minutes and then I never heard back from him. Did not get the service the Big Deal offered.

We had a leak in the roof and there was a little bit of dry wall damage. We used an Angie's list special to try to replace this piece of dry wall, but actually, they were able to simply clean it up and fix the ceiling so that once we paint the ceiling it will be good. They were a little busy with the specials and so originally my Angie's list messages did not help to schedule an appointment, but once I called, I was able to get scheduled in quickly.

The worker was very conscientious in terms of his attention to detail, and making sure that his work met our expectations.

Attentive, skillful, and honest. Recommended.

We used other company that can provide other services. We almost selected TGL.

Working with Tony was great. He explained the entire process and worked with an the city to get the necessary permitting done. Working by himself for the most part, he managed the entire tear down and demo process. The work started 2 weeks late, but was completed in the time Tony said it would take.

The job was well done. We had clear communication and documentation which made the process successful. The job was completed in the designated timeframe. It was a great relief to see him complete all aspects of the job with thoroughness and with high quality. Lastly, he cleaned up after himself everyday.

This was our second job with Tony and we were extremely satisfied once again. ?Once the project got underway Tony encountered quite a lot of hidden rot and damage due to water penetration. ?Many contractors would not have necessarily brought this to our attention. Tony pointed it out, did the work necessary and did not charge us any extra. ?Tony charges a premium but he has an incredibly high level of attention to detail and thoroughness with the way he does his jobs. ?He is worth it. ?Again, he is an excellent communicator, very professional regarding his paperwork, very respectful and provides a very high quality level of work. ?His associate, Robert, is also very good at what he does and represents Tony well.

Tony and his employee, Robert were exceptional! They were pleasant to have around, very considerate of me and my needs, always cleaned their work areas before they left each night and were perfectionists in the way they did their work. Tony's charges were higher, but I think he earned every penny. Super high-quality work deserves to be paid a premium. I am so glad I hired TGL! Before painting, they scraped and caulked everywhere it was needed. The paint job was very well done, using primer where needed and putting on two liberal coats. Both Tony and Robert had a wealth of knowledge and took great pains to make sure everything was done correctly.....no shortcuts or cheap routes here! Tony was very accommodating when I added work or wanted to change something. He also is excellent on the business side....doing change orders and documenting everything so that I had clear and concise records. In conclusion, I would definitely hire TGL Construction again. In fact, finances willing, I will have them back next summer for a remodel of my master bathroom and to tear out my old deck and build a beautiful new one. Thank you Tony and Robert for turning my ugly duckling leaky house into a beautiful water tight swan. I smile every time I drive in the driveway!

I contact TGL based on responses on Angie's List. I received an e-mail response within a day saying he would be in touch with me within a day. After a number of days I called and sent emails a number of times and still did not receive a response. At one point I called two different phone numbers and found that both voice mailboxes were full. Lack of response shows a lack of professionalism. Ron Barkley UPDATE: After sending a review to Angie's list the owner called to explain that he had been very busy and apologized for not returning earlier e-mail and phone calls. He offered to come out right away to provide a quote but upon further discussion it became apparent that we were not going to be able to come to a satisfactory resolution.

I can?t recommend Tony of TGL Construction highly enough! I had a terrible leak in my garage from multiple burst pipes this past winter. Water poured from the ceiling and walls and did a significant amount of damage. I found Tony on Angie?s List and am so glad I did. Tony responded immediately to my call and was out to my house in a day. Starting with the proposal I found that Tony has a super high level of attention to detail. He crosses every t and dots every i. He worked closely with my insurance company ensuring that they were clear on why their adjusters estimate was lower than his estimate. The result was that the insurance company sent me a check to 100% cover Tony?s estimate as they saw that everything was legitimate. During the job some things came up that needed repair that he had not quoted on but he just took care of these things and did not charge me any extra. Tony?s communication skills are excellent. When Tony said he was going to be at the job at a certain time he showed up at that time. If he was running late he called to let me know of the change, never leaving me hanging. Tony and his assistant did very high quality work. He is meticulous, always going the extra mile and going over and above. I was extremely happy with the results. They left the job site extremely clean. One would never know, looking at my garage walls and ceiling that I had had such a bad and damaging leak. I plan to use Tony again soon for other projects!

I was never contacted by this provider. I purchased the big deal and never got a receipt or instructions like I always have in the past. I purchased this big deal on 4/28/14. I called the big deal help desk and they reached out to the provider. 3 days passed and I never heard from the construction company so I am requesting a refund.

Still ongoing, but I had to comment on the quality of Tony's work. I am an engineer and quite picky about the way work is done. Tony is meticulous and pays careful attention to detail. He explained in advance what his planse were for addressing the issue. Tony is efficient and very neat. He laid down tarps throughout the house to ensure that nothing was damaged during the work. At the end of each day, he thouroughly cleaned all working areas. Even more impressive he found things around the house that were broken and fixed them. I cannot say enough god things about the quality of service I am getting with TGL construction.

3 days after contact, got a brief email saying he would be in touch. Waited 10 days or so, and finally I called the vendor. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, but that he had been swamped with people buying the same deal. I thought it might still work out, but then I decided I needed somebody who could attend to the work a little more promptly, and who was more local.

He helped determined our best course of action, implemented the plan, got my approval of before incurring any additional costs above the coupon. His work was very professional and he was measured in his approach.

Tony was very easy to work with, he even called me the day before to make sure I was ready for them, I have had very few companies do that. They showed up on time, got right to work and cleaned up after themselves. I have already given away two of Tony's business cards and will definitely keep him in mind when I am ready for the next project.

Met with contractor arrived on time as agreed. Ultimately decided I didn't want to be responsible for gathering materials for the job so having someone else do the work.

Tony was professional and efficient, finishing the job within a reasonable amount of time. My husband and I would definitely use his services again.

Tony was very helpful in explaining work to be done. He was considerate in scheduling work around expected visitors. Price was reasonable. Would use him again. Good work.

The provider was unable to get back to me in a timely manner to schedule the appointment.

On time, listened carefully, thought things through, and conscientious. Great work. Fence repair - good work.

We had some dry wall to repair and some IKEA furniture to put together. They were prompt and did everything that was asked.

This job went really well. The owner who came out was on time and got the job done. He was able to fix it and everything looks beautiful.

Terrible....can't believe he is on Angie's List
