He came out and it took a long time for him to come out there. We asked him to do some additional bid work. It took him, like, three or four weeks to get it. By then we knew that, based on his prints, we would not be using him. After we decided not to use him he said we were going to have to pay him $225. He said he was sorry because he had lost some guys and was running behind. I guess for a small job within constraints, like four hours or less, I might use him, but he seemed completely overwhelmed and I would never use him again. The quality of his work was fine. I think that he was understaffed so he should have stopped taking jobs. He had pretty poor response time in general, so poor that we lost faith in him.
"You had purchased a drywall Big Deal from us; 4 hrs of drywall for $179.00. we met with you on the scheduled time we had set, as you were coming from out of town. Once we met at the property we did a walk through to look at the work needing done and we also looked at other projects you wanted a quote for. We began working on the drywall repair and ran into issues of active water intrusion in one room, and a exhaust vent pipe venting into wall space between floors; not vented to outside. We brought this to you attention. We installed plastic on the exterior drying in the area of water intrusion and investigated on ways to vent the bathroom vent pipe to the outside; this work is outside of the scope of work under the drywall deal purchased. We worked on the drywall up to the 4 hrs in the deal. We asked you if you wanted us to keep working by the hour and also asked if you would like us to haul away the demo debris from the closet area (Shelving and plaster demo) and you said yes. Normally at the end of the day on these deals that go over we get paid for the addition work that day. You left and did not return. Later we did put together the estimates for the other project you were wanting done. You did not chose us to do the work. I sent you the cost that you owed us for the additional work and called you multiple times. You did not return our calls and did not pay us for the additional work and dump fee. We decided to write it off as a loss. After all this you go on here and write a review like this? Very disappointing."
"Thank you for the time to write a review for me. It was great working with you both. I hope you have had time to relax and take time to enjoy your newly remodeled home. I look forward to working with you again when you get ready for your new bath remodeling. Best, Tony."
"When I arrived at your house we did a walk-through to look at the work that needed to be performed. We looked at different areas of drywall repair that needed to be done. You also showed me an area where you had an issue with a water leak from a window that caused damage to a wall that was installed through Home Depot. You told me that this would be a different project and asked me if I would provide you an estimate for the repairs beings that Home Depot would be responsible for paying this expense due to their window leaking being the cause of the damage. You also mentioned that you was wanting to close an opening leading into that area to make that into a room and asked me if I do this kind of work. I did not try to upsell you on anything, you asked me to look at these things for you. I performed the drywall repair in the other areas that you had showed me but was not able to finish these areas due to drying time. We agreed that I would finish this when I come back to do the other work where the leaking window problem was. I then removed all the drop cloths that I had laid throughout the house where we were walking to do our work, vacuum the inside of the house at all work areas, cleaned up the garage where we were mixing our hot mud and loaded up all my tools. Yes, protection and cleanup is always a part of my process In doing my jobs. Most of my clients respect and appreciate this. I did figure out an estimate for the repairs where the water damage was from the window for you. You choose not to have me do this work and wanted me to come back to finish the work that didnt get finished at the discounted rate. I told you that I could not do this at the discounted rate and that it would be at my regular rate at 4 hours minimum to come out again. I believe this is the whole issue and why you wrote me a negative review. It was not my intentions to upset you or for you to feel like you didn't get treated fairly. I do wish you the best."
