SERVICEMASTER

Service Master company are open 24 hours. We needed them after hours and they were here to help us out.

They are pretty expensive but I have had pretty good luck with them. About 4 or 5 years ago I had a house that had a buttery colored carpet. We bought the house and had the carpet cleaned before moving in. We noticed within 4 or 5 months that it had a grey cast on it. It was attracting dirt because the company that did the cleaning didn't rinse with clear water. I don't have that problem with Servicemaster. A lot of carpet cleaners will tell you that it is just bunk, but I have lived through it. It is the rinsing or the pulling out of soap that doesn't attract any dirt. Servicemaster has some products that remove spots that I am not sure other people have. They always leave you with a bottle of it. The bottle looked a little bit different this time. When you put it on and let it dry, it actually attaches to the stain and breaks down the stain. Then when you vacuum, and you vacuum in a lot of different directions, it pulls out those particles. I have cleaned up some real hairy stuff in the past with it. I have used different Servicemasters over the last 4 or 5 years. The first person I had do it was excellent and he was very knowledgeable. He really took his time with it. The second person was from the same Portland company. I was his last one of the day and you could tell he was in a hurry. I felt he missed some spots that the other guy would have gotten out. This time with the Vancouver one I was happy overall with the work he did. When they do the stairs, they attach their hose to the railing. His hose marked up my paint a little bit. I am not sure there is any way around that. It's nothing that can't be cleaned up. I thought it was odd the way he attached it because it was bumping against the wall as he moved and it was rubbing paint off. The carpets were clean. They were pretty reasonable. He gave me a discount because I had moved all my furniture. I had everything out except the couches and the chairs. I had already vacuumed so they didn't have to do that. They do the best job cleaning the carpets. They were very much available right when I needed them and they showed up on time. The person they sent was professional and quick. He stayed with it and answered my questions. I will go back to them just because I like that they do a thorough job and they use a good product when they are cleaning. They just need to work on some of their people. The people that have done the work have done more than an adequate job. It's not anything that I have ever called up and really complained about. The first guy hit such a high mark that I judge the others against him. Little do they know that when they show up I have this really high expectation.

OUTSTANDING, CAME OUT THE NEXT MORNING AFTER WATER DAMAGE OCCURRED. VERY PROMPT, GREAT FOLLOW UP. EXTREMELY CONSCIENTIOUS AND POLITE. WOULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
