Pioneer Pest Management

The technician was on time and was very courteous. He went into the crawl space and told me that all the bait was gone but there was no evidence of the rodents. He then showed me two areas where rodents could access the crawl space and told me how he would suggest the access be blocked. He waited for me to say that I wanted him to block their access as he suggested and I also asked him to re-bait the traps to be on the safe side and then to return in a couple of months to see how much bait was gone, if any. He agreed with this approach and asked me what I had paid the previous company. I told him what I thought it was and he said they would match it. I then asked him to inspect the attic as I had seen some squirrels running along the roof under the eaves. He climbed into the attic and I could hear him moving all around the house. While he was up there, I dug out the last receipt from the previous pest control company and discovered the fee was $10 less than I had quoted. I showed him the receipt and he agreed to match the lower fee!. He also reported there was no evidence of pests in the attic and gave me some hints about keeping the trees trimmed close to the house. He was very nice through the visit and said that his office would call me to schedule the follow-up visit in two months. I followed him out to his truck to get his business card which I ended up giving to a neighbor the next day--so that's why I couldn't include his name in this report. I will definitely call Pioneer again!

The office was easy to work with; they notified me when the technician was coming and the tech called me as well to tell me he was on the way. Very professional. I have already recommended them to another person who has also used them.

The technician came out at the scheduled time, assessed the situation, and recommended bird spikes! He then researched for me the best prices, etc. and scheduled promptly the work. I called Pioneer Pest Management on Mon because I had noticed evidence of critters in my pantry and ants in my bathroom. They set a time from 2 to 4 on Wed. Mike arrived at 2:30. He surveyed the trees and bushes and found what kind of ants were getting into my house. He also said that I had a mouse or mice in the pantry. I agreed to the price and he proceeded to spray around the foundation, trees and bushes for the ants. He then set traps in the pantry and behind the stove. When he went downstairs to set more traps, there was a snap and there was one less mouse in less than 5 min. Now that's what I'd call service!!! I would certainly hire Pioneer Pest Management again.

This company is top notch and I have had complete removal of ants and no signs of spiders. Other companies could never seem to get rid of the ants. I would definitely recommend this company.

They were here within a couple of hours of my initial phone call, charged less then what was quoted and I was extermely pleased with the work. They explained exactly what they were going to do and answered a lot of questions about the service and hornets nest.

I like them. They come out and do the service. I told them I want it for a year. I have extended it. They come every 3 months. They don?t constantly pressurize me to sign a contract. I like the way they treat the customer.

When our son was stung on the foot by a wasp, we noticed that there were a dozen or so nests of various sizes under the eaves of our home. With small children wanting to play outside, we called Pioneer Pest Management first thing in the morning hoping to get the problem resolved that day. Remarkably, they were able to fit us in their schedule and their cute van (decorated like a pioneer wagon) showed up on time. The work was done quickly and cost about the same as what other companies quoted me - a little less, really, with the Angie's List discount. We opted to spray the eaves of the entire house a preventative measure and have not had any new nests since. We definitely would use them again - but we hope we never have to!

I originally found mouse droppings in my garage only. I called Pioneer Pest after receiving an estimate from another company to bait and then remove all under house insulation and vapor barrier because of extensive mouse infestation (their words) in the underground crawl space. Mike from Pioneer came out, found a loose vent screen and garage openings (not found by the other company) and discussed my options in a very professional manner. Together we decided that baiting would give us an idea of just how much mice infestation I had and then proceed with other options if warranted. Mike returned after two weeks for a second visit, found that some bait had been taken only in the crawl space and re-baited. There was no continued evidence in the garage. He will return again in two weeks to re-check. First visit was $99 and second visit also $99. Each visit was at the time scheduled and everything was completed in a very neat manner. I am extremely satisfied with Pioneer Pest: the manner in which they discussed my situation, and the information and options they presented to the me. Oh, and pricing too!

Overall it went great. The service was informative, fast, friendly, clean, reasonably priced and successful. What more could I ask for.

We had been seeing large ants more and more frequently. We wanted to verify what kind they were and what, if any, damage they might be causing. Mike came out the very day that we called since we expressed quite a bit of concern about the problem. He told us that we definitely had carpenter ants and proceeded to treat them immediately. We also signed up for 3 more follow-up treatments.

They said it would take quite a few months to totally get rid of the mice, which it did. The company came back periodically to check. We had one incident where one of the men stepped through an area where there was no flooring and damaged the ceiling. They handled it immediately and let me hire whoever I wanted to come fix it and they didn't question the price. They handled it very well. Their scheduling might be a little iffy and I think they should be more careful with that. They are very clean, tidy, and professional. I feel very comfortable with them in my home.

When a leaf blew across the opening to a yellowjackets' nest under my shed, they swarmed about the area and I knew I needed to have it removed. I called for estimates, decided on Pioneer because of prior reviews and positive interaction with office staff. They were able to send someone the next day. Matt arrived when he had indicated, he answered questions fully and took care of the yellowjackets (warning me about time needed for complete eradication). He patiently answered questions re: other possible problems and even gave me a brochure on things I can do myself to help control pests. I'll use them next time I need pest service.

Great. When I do need pest management, I'll call Pioneer.

During the repair of our heating system, we were informed we had a mouse problem under our house. We called Pioneer Pest, and they came within a few days. They checked the entire perimeter of the house from the exterior and crawled around under the house (parts of which have very little room). They found a few places where mice could get in and sealed them up. Then they set 11 traps in the crawlspace. After two additional visits, we were satisfied that we had trapped all the existing mice, and it was unlikely new ones were getting in. (We have noticed increased mice activity outside the house and the cats are having a ball, so we do believe the mice are not able to get into their safe habitat anymore.) At each step, Pioneer gave us the data, pros and cons, prices, and let us make the choices. We never felt pressured into anything. Since my husband has a bad hip and I am prone to claustrophobia, paying someone else to crawl around under the house and deal with the problem was money well spent.

Mike has continued to catch several moles on our property.

They did a good job of fixing the problem. It took about three trips out to fix the problem. Each visit was $125.00. The third one they removed the charge.

They were great. Problem with ants got worse and worse. Mike Adamson was great. They are going to also come quarterly for 99.

I called and they got me scheduled the very next morning. The technician arrived right on time, was informative, quickly assessed the situation, and determined the appropriate course of action. The technician returned twice after that to check/clear the traps and then remove them after a period of inactivity. We have had no further mole problems thanks to Pioneer Pest's help!

THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH, AND I HAVE SEEN NO EVIDENCE OF CARPENTER ANTS SINCE. THEY DO A GOOD JOB.
