They did a bunch of tests and took samples which was very helpful. They told us that we needed to make sure no moisture was getting in there and the bugs should die. They didn’t charge me anything although they quoted me for putting out termite bait and that sort of stuff. They told me what to do and never sent me a bill. I felt like their integrity was very good.

He had a very professional demeanor and he seemed to be very knowledgeable about his industry. He explained to me very carefully what the problem was and what I could anticipate if I chose to use their service or not. I will probably be contracting them to come back on a regular basis for a year because one little dose probably won't do it for little tiny ants. So far I am very pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism. Their prices are competitive with everybody else in the market.

The gals in the office didn't give us the scheduled time that they were supposed to so we wasted time. When the exterminator arrived days later, he was quite late. He was a very nice and knowledgable individual who took the time to explain the problem/process. He did an excellent job. If you don't have a tight schedule, I recommend this company for their knowledge and expertise.

They were prompt and checked in regularly to see if any of them had been caught. They did a really good job.

Jake Adamson, the Pest Management Professional with Pioneer Pest Management, called me just before our appointment, to tell me he was on the way. I was dumbfounded, as two other contractors I arranged meetings with this weekend were no-shows, but very pleased that somebody was actually going to come and work at my place. Jake was a very friendly, yet professional young man who convinced me that he knew what he wad doing and why. He cheerfully went under my house and inspected and treated the crawl space, sprayed outside the foundation, brushed down the cobwebs, and provided some information to me about spiders and ants we are likely to encounter in this area. I could tell from the way he took care of his equipment that he was conscientious. The whole visit took about an hour and a half, and I felt I got my money's worth. I will call this company again for any pest problems and routine treatments.

We called Pioneer to block the entry points, remove the nest, and spray a deterrent to prevent future visits. They were able to come a couple of days after I called, give an estimate, and perform the work, all on the same day. We are very happy with what the were able to do. Next spring will be the test to see if the starlings stay out and I'm sure they will.

Got three bids. Price was competitive and they were willing to negotiate because of the small size of our yard. Set 7 traps in front yard and surrounding garden, and they followed up twice within the next 30 days to check traps. They phoned before each follow up visit to let me know when they would be out, and they left a report after each visit. They trapped 2 moles immediately and that took care of our mole problem.

They are able to keep the carpenter ants out. They are really into what carpenter ants do, how they forage and when they are not active. They try and give us a little background on their life and what they do. They tell us about their colonies and their history.

They were very professional, answered all of our questions and recommended things to do besides the treatment. The same guy comes out, they are always on time and very polite. I'd tell others they are very thorough and very professional.

Jack arrived at the early end of the time window I had been given. He observed the yellow jackets flying around the nest and then proceeded to destroy it. When he finished he called me out to look at thedestroyed nest as he put it in a plastic bag. He explained there were probably a few "foragers" that weren't in the nest but that they would be gone in 24 hours. He was right. We haven't had any more problems.

Everything has been great working with them. They will call and leave you a message the night before they come, which I always appreciate the reminder. They are also very friendly.

It went pretty well. We were asked to wait 30 days after treatment and before calling and sure enough, right around 30 days, the ants were no longer coming into the bathroom.

They were so professional I can’t even tell you! They went above and beyond in their service to me in that they rearranged their schedule to cover my 53 vents before these birds starting laying eggs. Then as I went around the house to check the work I noticed that the tech not only did a great job in placing the covers but he also cleaned off the bird poop from my siding and my windows. They were thoughtful in working with me on pricing since I had such a large number of vents. Overall, these folks will be my personal and professional contact in the future. Lori

We had a contract with them for approximately a year, and off and on before that on an a needed basis. I had a decrease in rodent population, so we decided to lay off for a while. They accomplished what we hired them to do, so we are just taking care of it our self now. I liked the personnel that came out to do the monitoring. They were always very professional, but approachable and friendly. They would give you information to use and take with you in the future. I liked the company a lot.

Good, professional, but they were underbid.

The comapny representative arrived promptly and put up traps. We had a total of 5 animals removed from the yard over a two week period. he checked regularly and responded immediately when an animal was entrapped.

Their price is pretty reasonable. They initially came for animal removal and we continued to use them for pest control.

Two men came and checked everything out thoroughly, even places in the garden where I'd seen bees. They applied poison, told me these were not bees that would likely destroy the interior of the walls or sting us, explained how they probably got into the basement, told me to plug any other holes they might get in through. Very reassuring. Seemed a little pricey to basically check and kill one small hive, but they were very knowledgeable and thorough, and it was very reassuring to know things would be okay and how to prevent this in the future.

They were great. They were responsive in calling back and setting up a meeting and timely in showing up for the meeting. The gentleman who arrived assessed the issue, admitted they couldn't do much to get the mice other than bait traps inside (as I could do myself) or keep them out except by adding some foam to some holes around some ventilation on our outside walls (again, something I could do myself). They didn't charge us, but I would call them again in a heartbeat for any problems in this arena.

Arrived on time and did an excellent job. Jake, the serviceman, was professional and did a very good job of explaining what he would do. He worked very effieciently and was knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish. Price included 10% Angies's List discount.

We had mice. Not wanting to kill them we bought these traps that allowed us to release them unharmed. We'd removed about 15 mice when we figured we had a larger problem so we called Pioneer Pest Management. Mick came out and did a thorough investigation, found a number of places where the mice could be getting in and blocked them. He set some traps under the kitchen sink, in the garage, in the pantry and in the crawl space. We had a good laugh about my attempt at catch and release when Mick said "It's probably the same three mice you've just caught them 5 times". No truer words. That night I checked the crawl space and there were 3 dead mice caught in the traps. It's been 2 weeks since then and not a single mouse. So when it comes to mice, catch and release sucks but Pioneer Pest definately does not!

The ant baits available from the hardware store weren't doing the job, so I decided to call in the pros. The guy was a bit late but called ahead of time to let me know he was running late, a professional courtesy that I sincerely appreciate. I showed him the areas where I saw pavement ants and wasps building nests, also what I thought was evidence of termites in the basement. He told me that I didn't have termites after all (that's a relief!) and also identified some old water damage in my basement. I decided to have the service done that same day and he did it, right on the spot. He tried to sell me a quarter-annual service, but I didn't think that was necessary. The ants are all gone (and so are the wasps). Unfortunately, they only warranty their service for 6 weeks. I hope I'm rid of them for longer than that!

Right from the start I had a good feeling about this company. My call was answered right away, an appointment was set up for the coming week and the office called ahead to confirm the time. The technician, Mick Judd, arrived punctually and inspected the whole property for signs of pest damage. We discussed the problem with the woodpecker and decided on a plan to stop further damage to the siding on both the north and south sides of the house. At my request, he agreed to nail up pieces of roofing shingle over the holes and areas already targeted by the woodpecker (this was my idea), plus he attached shiny strips of mylar to the siding to scare off the bird if it returned. Mick was pleasant and cooperative, as well as thorough. He checked for rodents and carpenter ants while he was inspecting the property, but found no problems there. I told him I was against spraying for spiders, since I'm a gardener and I know that they are beneficial to the environment. He agreed that it was usually unnecessary. The whole appointment took about 2 hours, because Mick had to set up and climb a 32-foot extension ladder to reach the top of the second story of the house. He took his time and was careful, having to move the ladder several times to reach all the affected areas. As he worked, he would ask me if he was doing what I wanted and we would discuss the alternatives. As a woman, I really appreciate being treated in an intelligent, business-like manner and being part of the decision-making process when it comes to work on my house. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I will definitely use this company again in the future!
