I am so glad I found Pioneer on Angie's list. After a hotel stay in which I was bitten by bed bugs I was terrified that I may have brought some home. The first exterminator I called didn't seem to knowledgeable, my dr. didn't seem to know much about bed bugs either. The internet told me a lot, but I needed to ask detailed questions from someone really familiar with the bugs' behaviors, life cycles, signs of infestation and effects of bites. Pioneer delivered all of this, what a relief. Grissom gave my house an all-clear, and I felt confident in the results.

In late August we inadvertently stayed in a hotel that had bed bugs, a problem that followed us home. We called Pioneer Pest Management the morning after we discovered a bug in our home. Their inspector and his dog came two days later, and treatments began the day after that. The treatment regime involves three separate visits, spaced to follow the bed bug reproductive cycle. Both the inspector and technician were prompt, informative, professional and courteous on each visit. We especially appreciated their thorough and upfront explanation of what all the treatments would entail, how much they would cost, and what we needed to be doing in between treatments. After the first treatment we never saw another bug, much to our relief. I would highly recommend Pioneer Pest Management, and while I certainly hope to not be in a situation where I need to call them again, should I find myself faced with a pest problem they will be the first on my list of people to call.

It was great. They left me a notice each time they came and put flags on all the traps so they could not be missed. The squirrels even went around them. They took care of the problem and I am happy.

Two technicians from Pioneer came to my home as scheduled, looked at the damaged window area, determined that my problem was temporary and the ants were not carpenter ants and would leave once the dry rot area was removed. I've since cleaned out the dry rot and the ants have left. They gave me helpful suggestions about avoiding the problem in the future and didn't charge for their visit or advice. They were very knowlegeable and professional and I will certainly call them for any pest problem in the future, whether ants, wasps, or animals!

I think it is $99 a quarter. I got their name from my neighbor who had a bad ant problem and I called them for my ant problem, which was a real minor problem. I found them to be very knowledgeable and very easy to work with.

Terrific. Jason was on time and professional. He treated all areas that needed treatment (as this is is on-going service) and wiped down eaves and soffits of my home and shed, He was personable and made me feel comfortable. I thought the experience was positive and professional. They responded very quickly. They got somebody out right away with my first contact. The quality of the work was good.

After using their service, we have not seen any ants. The one time I did see an ant problem, they came back out and took care of it at no additional cost. They are very prompt and professional. They also work with us about our concerns with our animals. The workers are very knowledgeable.

We discovered that some mice had gotten into our basement through a small hole that was not properly plugged. I made the mistake of just plugging the hole and not confirming that the mice were all out. About 2 weeks later I noticed the smell of a dead animal in the basement. So, after checking on Angies List I called Pioneer Pest Management. The guy on the phone was very nice and set an appointment for Saturday (this was on Thursday). Obviously we were eager to have the smell removed before it got worse. Friday morning I got a call from their scheduler that their had been a cancellation and that they could come out today (Friday). This was great. Their tech "Mitch" showed up on time, and was very pleasant and professional. He surveyed the job and explained what he was going to do. I approved and he got started. He did an extremely thorough job and even hung up a odor absorbent in the area. I was very impressed and would happily hire them again anytime.

I have a yearly contract with them. They came out four or five times to get the ant problem under control. They are responsive when I call. The ant problem seems to be under control now.

They came right out and did a really good job. The man who came out was very nice and respectful. I could not really compare their pricing to anybody else. I would use them again in the future.

They were very nice. They got to the root of the problem of why I was getting mice, so I was able to prevent mice in the future. The one problem was that they were very busy, and so he couldn’t get rid of my dead bird right away, and had to come back later in the week and that just made it worse. It was just not good.

We noticed what we thought was a mason bee's nest on the outside of our home, so we called them out in between treatments. They came out the next day and were very accomdating and gave us the appointment time we needed. They didn't charge me for this extra trip. They take a lot of time and even sweep out old cobwebs. They do a very thorough job and do not rush.

They really stood out in their professionalism, knowledgable, although price was little expensive.

I think they are very responsive, nice service providers and do everything necessary to take care of the problem.

I had moved in to a brand new home which had a lot of spiders, and the owner said that it was a temporary thing and that we didn’t need spraying, but I called them out. They came and searched around and did their work. They were great, very honest and didn’t charge me anything. I would use them again in the future.

We’ve used them in the past and we are continuing to use them. We had a big ant infestation that my husband was trying to treat on his own for a couple of years. Finally last spring we just decided that they’re not going away. We did the wrong thing by trying to take care of it ourselves and spraying. So we were actually moving the ants from one area to another and now Pioneer Pests have been coming out. They totally got rid of our problem. We spend probably $160 every three or four months on their services. It’s something like that. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

It went well, he was a professional through and through. There was some chit chat but mainly to inform me of the status of what he was doing and what was to happen next. He definitely set the right expectation from the initial phone call with pricing and explained what would happen before his potential appointment. He put my mind at ease with the custom plan that he had in place. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

We had a pile of wood in our yard that had termites in it. Termites strike fear into the heart of a home owner!! We had done some online research and decided that we needed to consult a professional. The company rep came to our home to see what our situation was. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He told us that in this area we have two kinds of termites. One that attack dry wood and ones that attach wet wood. He suspected the latter, since our problem was in a pile of wet wood. He asked what they looked like and that matched. We had him inspect our basement, just in case, to see if there was an sign of the dry wood termites and there wasn't. It appears we have the less lethal kind, and they don't treat for those. The solution is removing the wet wood, which we had already done. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THIS VERY EDUCATIONAL VISIT! We will be using them again when we have a problem, for sure!

They caught several moles and it appears the problem is now resolved. After each visit (I didn't need to be home on the visits), they left a detailed description of the work performed as well as sent a follow-up email with the details. Their attention to detail and customer service is fantastic.
