The service went fine. I had them do the wood rot restoration for an exterior door. A couple technicians were out for the service and spent the full 4 hours on the service. My wife worked with the technicians. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

The guys were friendly & punctual. I asked for them to re-secure some sagging siding (12 years old - NOT the recalled stuff). Also to recaulk some gaps. They attempted one piece and were unable. I had to show them how (with a drill & finish nail) but they were afraid because their nail gun broke one of the pieces off. So, I just bagged the siding re-secure and had them just recaulk. I took a chance hiring an "expert" - but will do all work myself - as I have always done. It cost me $250 to have two guys do in an hour and a half what I could have done in 2 hours. I asked him to give me a quote for some dry rot repair and re-spray two sides of my house. It's been since 1/14 & I've heard nothing. For punctuality & friendliness- they get an A. For siding expertise- a D. For caulking - an A. For price ($250 for two hours) - a D. Average is what I'd rate (a C). Nice guys - but a little lacking on the creative side for my taste.

They only charged me $6400 (for 800 sq.ft. of siding)!! I have gotten quotes from other local companies and all of them quoted me nearly 10 grand!! I am very pleased with the work done, it looks great! They offered excellent customer service, they walked me through the whole entire process and answered all my questions so I knew what to expect. They were very courteous and professional, cleaned after themselves everyday and they worked fast. (I was afraid that this project won't be done before thanksgiving, but its all done!! I'm ready to have guests over!!). if you want quality work done at a good price I highly recommend these guys!

When I called to schedule the dry rot repair service in late July, Decco Design was out of state according to their voice mail and would not be back until sometime in September. I left an email message per their voice mail instructions as I was concerned about my coupon expiring in August. I did get an email on October 2nd stating that they were back in town and could schedule the repair. However, I had already hired someone else to repair the dry rot before the winter rains start.

They were busy. Then I got busy. They never followed up so I'm requesting a refund. Found another contractor.

After sending Decco Design pictures of the damage, I was a bit nervous about having to provide the materials for the job, but Nick gave me a clear shopping list and it wasn't nearly as daunting a task as I feared. (I don't do much DIY beyond painting.) We scheduled a time for the job, Nick and his partner were on time, explained what they were going to do and why, answered my questions in a professional and comprehensible manner, and then proceed with two major repairs which were partial replacements of exterior siding panels. The work was done neatly, with attention to detail, and I am completely satisfied with the final look.

I contacted Deco Design. I sent them a photo of the repair to the rotting fascia wood on my roof line that needs to be repaired. They sent me a list of supplies that I should buy, and told me that they could repair it but it might not look exactly like it looks now or match the rest of the fascia line on the roof. They said it is hard to say without coming to see it. I would rather just hire someone to come give me an estimate, buy the necessary materials, and do the work so that it matches the rest of my house.

We had some problems getting the work scheduled because of rainy weather and some big jobs that they were working on, but when they finally showed up they did a reasonably good job. They provided 2 hours of work with a crew of two for the 4 hours we purchased through Angie's List Big Deal. They did not visit the site prior to doing the job, however, so I had to run out to Home Depot to buy the required materials while they were on site. They provided estimates for two other wood repair projects which seemed to be reasonable, and we will probably have them do those repairs before we have our house trim and deck re-painted (by another Angie's List contractor). They also provided an estimate for replacing some siding, but that estimate was way too high and we plan to have the painting contractor do that repair.

They came to our home and they are going to do the installation of a kitchen window and approximately 12 smaller windows in the basement. The service has been fine and my husband has worked with them on this, I have heard nothing negative.

What I thought was just a few pieces of dry rot on some exterior trim on our house, turned out to be water damage to the framing and several other areas of the exterior walls. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They are very tidy and keep the job site clean. They give us a daily report on where they are at on the project and when what they will be working on the next day. We very much appreciate all the hard work they are doing for us. We would definitely recommend them.

They did excellent work, were on time and finished in the allotted time. The work looks good.

They came out soon after call and did an appraisal of the job in about an hour. It was replacement of very heavy beam ends on a carport roofline, involving removal of rotted wood and replacement with solid wood fitted and painted to match. Work took place about 16' to 20' above ground level, and the guys expertly placed ladders and platforms to perform the work, which was completed well ahead of schedule. Repairs were expensive but worth it, especially given the difficult location of the repairs. They were very professional and clearly competent. I would hire them again.

The experience was good. We did some more work, and so there was an additional charge. We like the finished product. The price was expensive in the end. We picked the quality of material. He had a lot of input as far as the design.

They were prompt in keeping their appointment to estimate the job as well as on their following repair visits. We are satisfied with the quality of their work and they proved to be courteous and conscientious. They impressed us with being very diligent with their workmanship and evidently care about doing things the correct way instead of taking shortcuts.

After speaking to them, we concluded the deal was not going to work out but they were very nice and professional. I was able to request a refund.

I chose not to follow through with this because of potential extra costs that it sounds like I may incur.

These guys were very professional and personable. They explained everything they were doing and why it was necessary. They removed and disposed of all the old siding and put up a new vapor barrier before replacing the siding and trims on the windows. They also built an attached pergola over the patio which ended up looking really fantastic. All in all it took about 2 weeks to complete. They listened to what we wanted and let us contribute to the design of the pergola. We've had contractors argue with us about design elements before because they just didn't want to do the extra work, but we had no problems with Decco Designs. They were very competent and efficient and would hire them again for any work that needed doing.

I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2013. The guys showed up promptly and gave me a thorough explanation of the waterproofing and how the new siding and flashings would cover all horizontal surfaces. They were professional and courteous. They worked hard and diligently to complete the project paying close attention to the details. I was impressed with their skills and quality of work. I would highly recommend their services.
