Mobile. Service. Excellence. We specialize in onsite diagnostics and repair. We love fixing cars and helping people at the convenience of their own home or while at work. Car Forensics was began in order to address the growing nightmare people are posed with when trying to have their fixed, on the first try, at a cost they can afford, and in a time frame their busy lives can accommodate. The Creator has 16 years experience restoring automobiles and has worked on everything from Hot rods to Hybrids. He has been recognized by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence as an ASE Master Mechanic. He has 12 years experience working on Military Aircraft including C-17 Globemaster III and McDonald Douglas C-9 Nightingale out in the field. He holds degrees in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Mechanical Engineering. He lives for problem resolution on the first attempt. The maintenance philosophy and technique exuded by Car Forensics are unlike what's on tap around the area. An unnaturally high expectation of Service Performance was the driving force for the Creator to start his own business in order to deliver the sort of vehicle maintenance that is has only been dreamed about until now.

a Shelby arrived on time and I was impressed with his friendly yet professional manner. He got right to work and was very thorough. I really appreciated the time and patience he gave to me. Thanks to his detailed report I will be able to make a better decision regarding what I plan to do with a recently acquired classic car. What really impressed me was I contacted him after he had completed the job and had been paid and asked him for some additional paperwork to be done . This was not part of the job yet he still did as I asked and never made me feel like I was a bother to him. He is someone I would recommend highly . He is honest and will give you his best . A young man with old time work ethics . I know his business is going to be a huge success. I also was impressed with the lady who takes his calls and schedules his appointments. To many times I have been frustrated with the receptionist of a business. Many of them act as if they don't even know what services are provided let alone answer simple questions. The whole experience from beginning to

On the phone, we were asked politely by the owner of the shop that had replaced that alternator 11 months prior, to have the vehicle brought to his facility. He was pleased to do whatever necessary to honor his 2 year Warranty. In the end, almost all the shops in Vancouver mean well but are under extreme pressure to find and revolve around the balancing point between being conservative, putting parts on your car that will last but aren’t priced so high you can’t afford them, paying all their overhead, retaining highly skilled technicians, and providing you with reliable and safe transportation. This is no easy riddle to solve and the solution if you can find it, is elusive and ever changing. Accountability is rarely an issue."

My car had sat for over a year because I thought the engine was seized. I got Shelby's name from a co-worker and called. He diagnosed the actual problem no "well it could be this or that" "let's try this and see" you get from many mechanics. Turns out it needed a new fuel pump! He had it towed to the shop the next morning and he delivered my car back to me by that evening. I will forever have Shelby at Car Forensics on speed dial for all my car repair needs.

We can also fix other annoying stuff at the same time, for instance we restored your oil pressure gauge at your request, so you can count on that oil pressure reading while you drive. Shelby came out to my car for a few more tests and decided to take it back to his shop to disassemble areas of the car to gain access to electrical components. He found the sources of the electrical drain and made appropriate adjustments to isolate them. I am really pleased to have my car working properly again. I found Car Forensics to be a First Class diagnostic and repair facility. They have unique capabilities and their on-site-service capability is especially convenient. Shelby is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. I feel lucky to have found Car Forensics and feel that their fees are very reasonable.
I highly recommend Car Forensics and will use them again if/when I have automotive electrical problems.
They charged $65 to come out and diagnose the issue, which was $30-$65 cheaper than the other mobile mechanics I contacted. They tested the entire electrical system, let me know exactly what the issue was and fixed the problem all within a couple of hours. They even called a few minutes ago to ask me how the car was running. THAT'S HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DONE!
He new exactly what he needed to do to fix the problem .
He diligently went to work on the problem and fixed it in a timely manner.
He is so good at this, that he made it look like it was an easy thing to do. He had to take the door panel off and then work on things inside the door. He knew where every thing was and where it belonged. The lock works great now.
His pricing is great. He charges a flat hourly rate, I remember paying more than $300 for the same repair at an auto service company.
