Excellent service. Considerate & competent.

I purchased a Big Deal that provided 4 hours of window cleaning for $129. Aegis was very easy to work with; scheduling was a breeze and the representative on the phone who did the scheduling was very friendly and professional. I had scheduled for 1:00 in the afternoon and they were about 3 hours late because the job before took longer than expected. I called to check in and the office was very friendly and helpful and called me right back to give me an updated estimate of when to expect the window washer to arrive. When he got there, he was friendly and did a great job and moved through the windows very quickly. Since it only took an hour to do the windows, I wouldn't purchase a Big Deal such as this again for my small house. But I would definitely bring Aegis back for window cleaning again. I liked working with them.

My husband and I recently purchased a 2800sf home as an investment property. The home was built in 1968 and had very few updates at the time of purchase, so we did many renovations to it. The renovations created a lot of dust and debris, so the ducts were pretty dirty. Plus, we're not sure if the ducts have ever been cleaned. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for Aegis Cleaning for $219 which covered air duct cleaning for 10 registers and 1 return. This house has 15 registers and 2 returns. When I called to set up the appointment, I was told that the charge for each additional register would be $24 and additional returns were $40. This sounded pretty steep, but I was willing to pay it since I was using the smoker Angie's List Big Deal. I wasn't able to get an appointment for 3 weeks, which was understandable considering the number of other Big Deal purchasers trying to get on their calendar. The Aegis rep arrived on time the day of the appointment in his used personal vehicle, which looked rather curious - I would have thought they had a lot of large equipment given the service description on the website, thus requiring a larger van or truck. Regardless, the rep told us it should take a couple of hours to clean all of the ducts, however he was out of there in under an hour! I've checked the vents and registers, at least in the few inches I visible from the floor, and they appear to be clean.We were not shown a container, etc of what was cleaned out of the system, nor did they offer to show us any "video" from the duct cleaning, as advertised on their site. However, we did not ask to see it, so it's possible they filmed it. I suppose the true quality of their super speedy work will be evident when we change the filter. Aside from the steep fees for the additional registers and return, I suppose I'm satisfied with their services. They just didn't exude much professionalism.

They came when they said they were going to come. The two guys were very quick and very thorough; they did a good job.

The workers arrived on time and were very courteous. The house has many vents that had not been cleaned for quite some time. In addition, there are vaulted ceilings that required one of the workers to obtain a taller ladder. This did not show down the job by much, as one worker stayed behind and got a lot done while the other was in transit. Overall, a good experience.

They were on-time, efficient and cleaned up the mess. No complaints.

I bought a Big Deal from Aegis for gutter cleaning. The deal was for $119, but I had more gutters than was covered in the deal, so they charged another $50 for the complete gutter cleaning. They were very responsive - and managed to stick around when I was late for the appointment. I was a little surprised the deal didn't cover all of my gutters, but the work done was very thorough.

I had purchased a Big Deal for $119. It turned out that our gutters are more than 26 feet off the ground and that we had more gutters than allocated in the Big Deal. This ended up costing us an additional $100. The crew arrived at the time agreed upon and noted that they did not have the right equipment given the height of our gutters. They had to meet up with another crew to get that equipment. They returned later and did the job. It seems that they did a good job and we are satisfied with the service.

The process went smoothly. They arrived on time, located all the vents, brought in their equipment (removed their shoes at the door) and went to work. Put things back when they were done--it took about an hour or so. I am happy with the work they did.

can't remember exactly how much I spent, but it was not enough!!! They did such a great job! After doing the windows, I commented on the yard debris that needed removing for a party, and the guy offered to do it. When he came Saturday morning, the blower he had had too much oil in it and he didn't want a bunch of smoke in the yard - worried it wouldn't dissipate before the party. He left, emptied the oil, replaced it and came back. Way about his duty. he was great and I would use them (will use them again).....would hightly recommend them

Two young men arrived at the appointed time, discussed the job with me, looked at the house and counted the windows, then went right to work. They were pleasant and courteous. The windows were clean and I was pleased with their work and even asked them about other kinds of work their company does, considering having them hang Christmas lights for me. It wasn't until after they left that I noticed that the window tracks were not cleaned and that their ladder had rubbed the paint off of my entry way plant shelf and scarred the wall. If I were to use them again, I would pay closer attention and inspect the job before they left. In their defense, I did not call and complain. I will just fix the issues and consider it a lesson learned.

The team arrived on time. I put them to work and they did what I asked of them. It seemed that they were working kind of slowly, as if they didn't want me to add any work additionally. I could be way off on this assessment tho. It seems as if they could have done more in the allotted time.

Overall it went very well. The team arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. The girls were friendly and professional and took care in handling our things. Aegis was very accommodating when we needed to reschedule our cleaning day because we were going to be out of town. We liked them so much that we have set up a regular cleaning service for both our house and our mother's home.

They were prompt and curtious. They completed theit work promply. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to one of my friends.

I emailed Kristin to arrange for a day/time to install my holiday lighting after buying the Big Deal but didn't hear back for several days so I called Kristin. The reason my email was not answered was a glitch in the email system, but when I spoke to Kristin on the phone she was able to schedule a date/time for installation. The lighting was installed, but several strands did not go on. I called Kristin to report the problem and she kindly arranged for Nick and another gentleman to come back to my house to troubleshoot. Turned out that too many strands had been connected on one area of the house, so after they fixed the the problem, all the lights went on. Nick and the other gentleman were very nice and helpful in figuring out why several light strings had not gone on. The lighting is beautiful and I'm very happy with it. Aegis worked hard to make sure I was happy with their service and I appreciate their professionalism.

they did a good job overall. I just hope they can be more available in the future. I was going to use them before my wedding date, but they only have openning after. oh well.

They were professional and completed the task timely

I purchased this deal to get air duct cleaning. I then found out there is a service that would do this for free because I am disabled. Therefore, I got a refund and never used their services.

Pat and his coworker arrived at the time indicated. They were friendly and professional and performed the work in two hours. I have no complaints about them or the work. Unfortunately I think this service was way overpriced. This is the reason I would probably not hire them again. I had never had my air ducts cleaned so I had no idea what the going rate would be. I purchased a BiG Deal coupon for $219 which included one intake (we have two) and 11 vents (we have 18). I was informed that the additional vents and intake as well as the cleaning of the dryer vent would be extra, at $24 a vent, $75 for the dryer and I forgot the exact amount for the additional intake. So after the work was completed I still had to pay $259.- This adds up to $475 total, which I thought was a lot for two hours of work for two persons. I now noticed that another company was offering a far better Big Deal which would have been about $200.- less in total. This is quite a bit. I do not understand how the first one could be a Big Deal. So, while I have no complaints about the work itself, I think this was to expensive and it is for this reason that I would not hire them again.

Nick was running early. He called and asked if an earlier time would be good for me. This worked out great for my schedule. Glad he called to check. He arrived at the time he said. He went the extra mile doing my basement windows,cleaning and putting in glass insert for my screen door for winter.

The two young men showed up within the one-hour arrival time. They were pleasant, courteous and professional. They had "booties" to wear indoors. We did a walk-through and they told me they could complete all the windows in my house in the specified time. They explained what they were going to do and how they would proceed. They were industrious and efficient and completed the work very satisfactorily.

They did a very good job. I would use them again. The two men worked as a team, one outside one inside. They were prompt, careful and used simple products that did not hurt windows or my plantings. It took them 2 hours to do the work.

Project was booked and coordinated in a timely fashion. Work was well performed and I was very satisfied with the care they took with my household furnishings and woodwork as they performed the cleaning. Polite and professional crew - showed up on time and worked efficiently to complete the work in the time frame originally estimated. Very satisfied with this firm.
