I liked this contractor from the moment I set an appointment on the phone. The two individuals who arrived were quick to do their work- and did so beautifully and with a smile. The whole experience was very positive. I would recommend them to anyone.

I thought their pricing was reasonable comparing to other ones I've found in the area. I like them a lot. They were very nice. They were on time and thorough. We bought a groupon and it was for one return and ten vents but we had two returns and fewer vents so they actually gave us a deal where they agreed to clean the second vent for free, just because we had fewer vents which I thought was very sweet of them, considering that we already agreed to pay more for the extra return. They were actually quite quick. They were tolerant of our pets and respectful of the house.

The ladies that came to my home were pleasant and nice. My only complaint would be that the coupon was for four hours and only 2 ladies came by to clean and they only stayed for two hours.

They arrived within a couple of hour of the time indicated. I supplied the cleaners for stainless steel appliances, the central vacumn the mop, etc. they seemed not well supplied. There was a problem with the. Central vac that my husband fixed. We got an introductory offer, but their regular price for this service seems high.

I bought a coupon from Angie's list to have all of the furnace ducts cleaned. The ducts in this 11+ year old house had never been cleaned before. Once I connected with the owner or manager, I was able to schedule the work within a few days. The technicians showed up exactly on time and were polite, professional, and efficient in doing the work. They used a portable vacuum with a long hose and (rotating?) brush. What I can see of the ducts and certainly the return indicates that they are much cleaner. The only possible issue: I noticed when cleaning around one of the floor vents in the living room a week or so after the work that a lot of fine grit and dust seemed to blow up out of the vent when I removed the vent grate while cleaning around it. Upon investigating, I found that the air filter in the furnace had not been seated properly in the clips that hold it in place. It looks like that allowed dust and grit to just blow past the filter and up into the vent system. It was simple for me to correct that.

Fine- apt was clean already, but they got it spotless.

They didn't respond to email and after 2 phone messages over the course of a week or two finally returned my call. the woman said she was sorry she was in the hospital. She was nice, and the techs were nice. I think they cleaned fine but didn't do a good job putting the vent hood back on as if fell off the next day. not a deal breaker for me as i can do it quick and easy myself but for someone else this may be an issue.

The worker was prompt, courteous, efficient and professional. He dislodged quite a bit of creosote, as the chimney had not been cleaned in some years. He left the wood stove very clean and tidy. I am satisfied with the job. The only puzzlement was when I phoned to inquire about the service. I asked if there was any discount for previous Angie's List customers -- Aegis did a Big-Deal window cleaning at my home in the fall, job well done -- and was quoted the $99. However, someone in the room told the woman I was speaking with to add a $45 fee to the credit-card charge for disassembling and cleaning out the flue (or something like that) in the back of the wood stove. I questioned this and described my stove as best I could, but she did not seem familiar with the matter and the person instructing her did not come to the phone. I got her email address, took photos of the stove and sent them. [The extra charge was not made.] When the employee arrived later in the month, he checked and said mine was not a style with a closure that required that extra service. In fact, he was able to complete the job in a half-hour.

Aegis showed up for their appointment as scheduled; however, they determined that the gutters were frozen and they couldn't do a quality job. They rescheduled and came back a couple weeks later when things warmed up and finished the job. Everything went well. They cleaned up completely after the work was completed and didn't leave any debris behind. I would use them again!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were extremely slow in responding. I would call and get an answering machine; it took months. They were very apologetic. They might call back a week later and I would call right back and get an answering machine again. They did the job they were supposed to do. They did a decent job. They were pretty professional and friendly. They were interested in doing a good job. They had good attitudes. They showed up in their regular vehicles with no uniforms. They were young guys and I wouldn't have guessed that they were connected with the company. They came in wearing t-shirts and jeans. It was a little unprofessional but they conducted themselves professionally. It was an informal arrangement and they didn't seem like a formal company. It would be more reassuring if they had some indication that they were associated with the company such as markings on their vehicles or uniforms. The price was about right for 1 1/2 hours of work. They showed up when they were supposed to show up. I would consider using them again but I would also look at others.

My experience with Aegis Cleaning Services didn't go so well. It was a long delay to get them out here and when they did show up the workers didn't work their hardest to get the job done. Later when we looked at the windows when the sun came out, they were pretty streaked. I did not have a satisfactory experience with them.

They communicated that they would be a little late; but showed up with all their supplies. Very cheerful and efficient.

Overall the work that was completed was very good. Customer service in our case was not.

First half was fine.

I emailed and left messages with the company to set up an appointment and no one has ever made contact. This was a big deal that was prepaid.

They arrived on time. Informed us what the coupon covered and did the job without problem. The only thing we realized too late was that when they took out the ceiling vents the original holes were no longer strong. So when I went to open up the vent a few days later the entire thing came out and we are still trying to figure out how to put it back into the ceiling in our basement. Besides that, everything went as expected.

Superb! Professional, Courteous, Careful. Completed in about 2.5 Hours. Included Cleaning out the Dryer Vent (Small Additional Charge- Not part of initial Angie's List "Deal"). Very Good. Competent. Would Strongly Recommend!. Thanks.
