Aegis Cleaning Services did an okay job, they had a difficult time reaching all of my windows which kind of surprised me because I thought they would need all the equipment needed.

We purchased a Big Deal on gutter cleaning. We waited a couple of months to use it (waiting until all the leaves were down). It took several calls to get a response. I finally contacted the provider through the Angie's List Serve website, at which point I got a prompt and professional response. From there, the company was very easy to deal with. The service was scheduled within a few days, and the guys who came out to do it did a good job. They let me know that they could install a better gutter system if we were ever interested, but did not do a hard sell.

They did a pretty good job. It was weird, they asked to use my soft scrub to clean my sink. They don't clean inside the oven.

I bought the Angies List big deal and as with so many other offers I have bought, waited until right before the expiration date to call and schedule. Aegis was great! They assured me that my coupon would not expire and that I could schedule after the expiration date. I have now scheduled for later this month. The office was exceptionally responsive, nice, and helpful. UPDATE--I am sorry to say the the unresponsiveness to my complaints has me very angry and unwilling to recommend this company to anyone! UPDATE: Jeffrey (the owner) finally contacted me and addressed my concerns. I appreciate that.

Went well even if he was a bit slow

There was ab bit of phone tag to start ,but once we were set on a date everything ran smoothly.

Work quality was good, except one lady breaking a dish (fairly expensive one) It took a while to get a response after paying for coupon

We called the company three time with no response. On the fourth call we finally reached someone and made the appointment for 2:30 on May 8th. We got a call that morning asking if they could come earlier. That was not a problem because we were ready for them. They were on time and worked for 2 hours. After they left, I walked into the kitchen and there were obvious spots on the floor that were missed. I had to re-mop the floor. I also had to re-mop the hard wood floors. It look like they had walked on the floor while it was still wet. I had to re-mop those floors. They also did a poor job of wiping down the kitchen counters. I would say I spent about 30 minutes going over what they missed. The other work they did was good.

While they were here they said they had a special on heating duct cleaning, and we had that done as well, as it had not been done for quite some time.

They did fine. I had no problem with them. The deal was very reasonable. I had more gutter length than their special covered but we take care of the gutters. The guy told us upfront that we had more length and it was going to cost extra but it wasn't like we were 20 feet over so it wasn't a lot of money. When he finished, he said that those gutters were really clean so he has no sense charging us extra for it so he didn't charge us any extra. They came right when they said they would. They actually called me a few days before and said that a couple of the guys were sick and asked if they could come later and I told them they they could. They came right out and got right on it.

I was very happy with them and they did exactly what I wanted them to do.

He did a good job. The guy knew what he was doing. He had an issue with my dryer vent and his equipment getting hung up in it, and he ended up going under the house which I thought was above and beyond his call of duty. So he resolved it and the work was done pretty fast, too. I liked one thing specifically about what he did. A lot of teams do air duct cleaning by hooking up vacuum cleaners to the duct but this company has a brushing system which loosens things from the pipes. So the cleaning job appeared to be much better than it seemed in the past. His demeanor was great. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was extremely committed to taking care of not just the letter of the invoice, but he made sure that everything I needed was taken care of. I got the big deal offer for this service.

They didn't show up for the scheduled appointment because of equipment problem, I didn't get the cancellation until the appointment time. I rescheduled and the work was done in one half hour. I was told the vent was blocked and it was good I was having it cleaned and told it was checked out and venting properly. When I went to use it, I went to the vent opening outside, I didn't feel air coming out so I opened the vent and pulled out handfuls of lent and then it blew out all over the place. I then noticed that the dryer was venting in to the laundry room because it wasn't sealed properly. I asked the technician specifically if he attached the vent properly and he said "yes". He also didn't vacuum up the vent on the floor behind the dryer. The really bad news to all of this is that I called the company to tell them what happened and they didn't even call back. Now I have to have someone come and secure the vent. I have come to expect much better from Angie's List.

I was very satisfied with the cleanliness left behind! The girls were on time and got the 2.5 bathrooms cleaned that I asked be done. They even got stains around the faucets out that I worked and worked on. The carpets were vacuumed as well, cobwebs removed and the home smelled fresh and clean when they were done. This was the first time I have ever used a franchise as I had only used a woman who was a sole proprietor years ago in a different home. I didn't know what to expect from a company that worked by the hour and not by the job. The retail price for the job completed is more than I would be willing to pay for the job that was done. I had (if I recall correctly) 3 bathrooms, a half bath, master vacuumed and dusted, and hallway, 2 stairs, game room vacuumed. There was enough time left of that 4 hours that my couch was vacuumed as well. I didn't care that they used the "green" supplies as that nonsense is not important to me. I didn't feel that spraying a mist of cleaner on my tile bathroom floor and swiping got it as clean as when I clean with a Shark. (Little steam thing) I just feel the price I would have paid if I had not gotten the super Angie's List deal price would have been too expensive

Technician arrived during the scheduled time frame. He performed the cleaning of the air ducts and was able to work around existing 'projects' my moving items when necessary. When finished he left his business card and reminded me of other services offered. He was a pleasure to work with.

Each time, they arrived later than they had originally said. When I called them when the appointed time had passed, they were apologetic and nice. The workers did eventually arrive and did a great job.

After many unreturned phone calls, I finally reached someone in the office. They claimed vacation and illness led to their unresponsiveness and being swamped with calls from other deals they had recently offered. I pursued using the company because I, too, had bought an Angie's deal for window washing and we set up a date that coordinated with my work and business travel. On the scheduled day, I received a phone call that they had to reschedule; an employee had quit. The office called me back within 90 minutes and rescheduled for the next day; less convenient for me, but they juggled other appointments in order to achieve this. The employee, Jeffrey ,was punctual, accommodating, and very pleasant. He completed the job in a timely manner and his workmanship was good. Perhaps this company oversold their deals and was not set up to handle the volume, or they truly have had some bad luck recently. When they called and canceled, I was prepared to give them an F, but seeing that they tried to adjust, I grade them a B. I'm iffy on whether or not I would deal with them again.

I bought this special on Angies list and want to be refunded. I called a total of 5 times, and emailed over the last 3 weeks but I have never heard back from anyone via email or phone. I trusted I would receive the work I purchased on Angies List...what can I do?

No problems. Showed up on time, did the work thoroughly, and cleaned up afterward.

But, the scheduling was unnecessarily painful. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal and scheduled as requested, taking a day away from work so I could be present. 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, Kristen called and said one of the crew had been hurt and they had to cancel. She indicated she would call in a few days to reschedule, two weeks later, no call. I emailed a request, no response, I called and left voice mails, no response. Only when I threatened to contact Angie's List did Kristen return my call, to tell me she couldn't schedule an appointment, because she still didn't have a crew. More waiting, more emails, more voicemails, again nothing until I threatened to contact Angie's List. More than a dozen attempts later, finally a scheduled appointment that someone actually arrived for. They did a great job, but I shouldn't have to go to so much trouble to contact a SERVICE provider.

Great! It was so nice to come home to a clean house.

They did a great job and far more than expected. Very professional.

They were easy to work with, strait forward and honest.
