I called in the morning, and I was quickly and easily scheduled for an appointment that day. There was a two-hour window, and the plumber, John, arrived close to the beginning of the window. Thought it was within the window, he called about 30 min before he arrived to let me know when he would be at my house. Once he arrived, he quickly got to work. He evaluated the install and provided a quote. Only part of the service was covered by my voucher. The job was finished a bit lower than the quoted time/ cost. He waited while an initial cycle ran in the dishwasher to ensure that the installation worked. After he left, I tried to run a cycle with dishes and noticed a leak. I called, and John came right over to fix it that night. It's now working perfectly, and I appreciated the quick response and professional service provided by The Plumbing And Drain Co.

1. First of all, the plumber showed up about 1.5 hours before the scheduled time. 2. Replaced the shut off valves 3. With my assistance assembled and installed the kitchen faucet 4. I had to call back the next day because the kitchen faucet was not tightly secured to the kitchen counter surface. Had to wait for three days before the plumber came back. 5. About 3 days ago, the kitchen house assembly just broke apart. I put it together myself. Called the company about the refund. Have not heard from the company after that. Still waiting.

There were no additional costs beyond the prepaid cost of the Big Deal. They showed up on time and there were no issues with the work.

He stop two toliets from running.It went well. He completed the job quickly.

They did the job and they weren't super professional. It seemed like they wanted to do a good job.

Sink was plugged with grease. Their service is not the problem. Its the 3rd time that I have used them and they did not give a discount. I had the coupons the first time. I was told to scan it over to her, they did not have a fax machine, and she gave me some address that did not work. And when I called back she told me it was too late. Then this last time I had a coupon on the counter and he saw it and never took it or took the discount off the bill.

The office is well organized giving accurate timeframes for service calls. The techs are professional, friendly and get right to work. They are fair and I trust them.

They came out and figured out what they had to do and then made sure it was fixed before leaving.

The co. was prompt. They had been here previously, but it was longer than a yr. ago, so no warranty was acknowledged. They recommended major sewer renovations, but I will consult w/ another co. re. same.

I purchased the toilet tune-up for 2 toilets. The technician arrived on time and was courteous and seemed knowledgeable and thorough and cleaned up afterwards. He had to replace some parts which cost an additional $230. I knew at least one toilet had an issue so I expected some additional cost. After he left, one of the toilets was still experiencing some running. I called the owner and he sent the technician back out the next day to fix the problem. I was pleased with the quick response and with the experience in general.

Blaine came to our house within the time frame promised. He used a very powerful snake to try to clear our toilet drain, but there was some serious blockage due to the long, somewhat level run of pipe under the floor. He then used a special enzyme to dissolve whatever was plugging the pipe, and it worked. He also changed a cartridge in our kitchen sink, which stopped the faucet from leaking. In his time here, he was informative, friendly, helpful, and professional. [I would have written this review a long time ago, but did not have access to my wife's account. I apologize for the delay.]

Started out bad as the service person that was sent to do this task was not familiar with troubleshooting plumbing problems. That we all know comes with experience. The initial install did not go well and upon discussing with the owner he came and preformed the install and all is well. He stood behind the service and that says volumes.

The quote was expensive at 235.00 but he was very polite and professional. He fixed everything very well and did a fantastic job. He brought the price down in the end.

They were responsive, professional, they did the work well, they didn't try to sell me other things, they just did what I requested them to do because some of them would try to sell me other services.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine and adequate.

That turned out fine. The only thing was that for very small parts he was charging a lot of money. I just ended up going to Home Depot and buying it myself. I just find that they could sell the same accessories or parts at competitive rates, but that was not the case. He didn't do a particularly great job with the faucet in my kitchen. He tried fixing it, but they should come back again in two months, so I am still living with that right now. I might use them again.

WOW! What at great responsiveness and professionalism! I received a water bill to the tune of $1300 and immediately contacted the city who sent out an inspector and confirmed there was a significant leak . I contacted this company, who detected the panic in my voice as I explained my situation and the rate at which the meter was turning, and sent out a Randy that afternoon. Randy was quick to locate the leak (where the main connected with my home plumbing) and then contacted the office with his findings and informed me Jim (a plumber) would be by in approximately an hour. Jim arrived early and was well informed of the situation. He then assisted in clearing access to the area and immediately started digging down to the area - and careful to put the dirt on the plastic he had laid down ahead of time. Once he saw the plumbing configuation he then did a second assessment and determined that a separate line to our hose bibs could be eliminated and thus also eliminating possible problems in the future. It got late and he indicated he would off the next day but ensured us he would leave instructions for the second plumber and call us that evening to let us know when the plumber would arrive the next day. Jim called and informed us that he decided to come in on his day off and finish our job. He called the next day to let us know he was on his way and arrived right on time. Once he repaired the leak outside I then requested he look at leaking tub faucet handles and an unstable toilet. He promply identified and repaired both. All work was accomplished in a very professional and clean manner with time taken to explain things THANK YOU!!!.

The service was good. I would recommend them. They came out and did exactly what I wanted them to do. It turned out the part in the toilet had to be replaced, so they were really nice. They came back in a couple of days to replace all of that and it is still working good. They were on time.

Bought their coupon here on Angie's list when my kitchen faucet was leaking. I called, got immediate response. He scheduled an appointment. I got a call the morning of the appointment that he was on his way as scheduled with an ETA. He came exactly on time. I had bought a new faucet on my own and asked if it would be better to repair the existing or have him install the new one. He told me the one I had purchased was great and it would save me money. He installed it efficiently and quickly. He was very pleasant. I didn't have to spend anything above the coupon I had bought. A great, professional experience, and I will call them again if I need plumbing services.

They went above and beyond! We didn't know what was wrong. Our downstairs toilet backed up and overflowed. We cleaned up the mess and plunged the toilet, but that didn't solve the problem. Any other toilet flushing in the house or water running (from any faucets, shower, etc.) would cause the toilet to overflow. The service call revealed that what we had was really a septic tank issue and not a plumbing issue, but it was definitely not a waste of a call or our time. The guy they sent out was here for a couple of hours, and he us remove boards from our deck to reveal where the septic tank is located as well as the filter and clean-out, and he cleaned both of those well enough that we are able to function until we get someone to come pump the septic tank. We had a family friend who is in the sewer business out the next day, and he confirmed that the work we had done was the perfect short-term solution to get us up and running, and he said he was extremely surprised and impressed that we got that kind of service from a plumbing company.
