I called the office and spoke with Marilyn. She asked pertinent questions about our carpeting and paired us with Jim. She called to confirm our appointment the day before. On the day scheduled, Jim called to see if he could show up a little early. That was fine, we were ready. Jim answered all of our questions before, during, and after cleaning. The equipment he brought into the house was all clean. He was dressed professionally. He worked hard and did a great job. It took him about 2-1/2 hours to complete the job. We had tried to use a home carpet shampooer without success on our Berber. We had some browning issues after that and he was able to get that out. The old Berber looks brighter and definitely cleaner. The Frieze looked fabulous--all standing straight up, looking like a wheat field! There was no odor, pleasantly, when done. It took about 12 hours for the carpets to dry completely. Jim gave us a bottle of spot cleaner (we have a plethora of cats) that was much appreciateed. We also bought the floor slides for a very reasonable price that he used under our sofas. The day after the carpet cleaning, Marilyn called to see if we were satisfied with the job. We are very satisfied. This is a wonderful locally owned and operated family company. They were very professional and personable from start to finish. Highly recommend Crystal Carpet Care. We will be calling again next year!

The carpets were cleaned in our 2-story, 2-bedroom townhome, which is used as a rental. We allow pets and some animal stains were visible on the carpet as well as some oil that had dripped from door hinge lubrication. I was very pleased with the results - the stains vanished and the carpets look brand new! The work was done promptly and efficiently. I would definitely hire these folks again.

We could not have been more pleased. We were worried about professional cleaning because we had heard the chemicals used in carpet cleaning were harmful to the environment and actually attracted more dirt requiring more frequent cleanings. We'd also had bad experiences with other companies hard-selling other services. That could not be further from the truth. The nice folks at Crystal are sensitive to the environment and assured us the cleaning would be thorough and would not attract more dirt. They were right. From the moment we contacted them by phone to the time Jim said goodbye that cool Saturday morning we were treated with exceptional customer service, never pressured to purchase additional services and offered advice for keeping the carpets clean between professional cleanings. Marylin quoted us $150 over the phone and then offered me an appointment on the following Saturday morning (which worked beautifully with my busy life). They called to remind and confirm the appointment the day before and then Jim called to let us know he was on the way that very morning--how nice. He arrived, got straight to work and was out the door in under two hours. The carpet was like new! We were so pleased and he assured us no additional treatments were necessary to maintain the clean. He offered to clean our rugs in another room of hardwood floors, but we were not prepared for that process. However, we'll have Jim out again this fall to spruce up that basement carpet and stairs and this time we'll include the area rugs. Jim and Marylin are the nicest people and it feels good to know there is quality, affordable services in our very own community. We appreciate the small-business mid-set an are happy to support his local, family-run company. Looking forward to working with them again and would highly recommend their service and products to our closest family and friends.

Talked to Marilyn on the phone and decided Jim needed to see the house before giving an exact quote. He came out, quoted price and we agreed to go forward. Jim showed up on time. He first protected hardwood stairs and put towels around corner molding to protect wood. Our house is very tall and takes some work to get hoses up to top level. Jim tackled the job with professionalism and care. The result was a greatly improved carpet with stains removed. Both Marilyn and Jim are a delight to deal with and true professionals. Would highly recommend.

first, let me say that i was really impressed with the equipment he brought. this is not someone who got a hold of a bissel and decided to go into buisness for themselves, which is what i have seen before... very professional, deep carpet cleaning, managed to restore most of the carpets. spent about 3 hours doing his thing while i was out back re-finishing a cutting board. very highly reccomended

Our experience with the company was very positive from initial contact to finish. The scheduler took time to ask the right questions and understand our particular needs. The technician was punctual, courteous, and thorough. We have older carpeting, young children, and multiple pets, so I wasn't expecting a miracle, but the carpeting looked clean and smelled much better. We were very pleased with the results and with the professionalism of the company. We were also pleased with the pricing - much better than other companies we've priced. Will definitely use again!

See above. We found them originally on Angies List about three years ago.They were very helpful, on time, and very capable. We hired them originally to do two carpets in a rental home in the north end of Tacoma. Our renters had two cats that had been ill quite often and the carpet was very light. Crystal did an amazing job getting the stains out. After that we recommended them to friends for their rental whose carpet was even worse than ours and they were very happy with Crystal's work, too. We had the company come out later to do our home's wall to wall carpet and then again when our last renters moved out. We will definitely use them again.

Marilyn, who scheduled our appointment, was very thorough in determining what we needed, answering all my questions, and was the most professional person I ever dealt with when scheudling home improvement/contractor visits. She also gave me the advantage of a better deal, which was in the local newspaper which we do not receive. In addition, she called the day after to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely use Crystal Carpet Cleaners in the future.

This was the best carpet cleaning service ever. Jim arrived as scheduled to view the areas to be cleaned and provide an estimate. He clearly described the cleaning process and the advantages of truck-mounted equipment. He said the combination of extremely hot water delivered under pressure coupled with the powerful extraction vacuum cleans well and results in a carpet that isn't soaked through to the backing. He said it typically would dry in about 8-12 hours. I scheduled the appointment with Marilyn for the following week. She called a couple of days before the appointment and we agreed on an earlier starting time, which better fit my schedule. I removed most furniture to a non-carpeted area but left heavier items in place (piano, bookcases, beds). Nick arrived on time to do the work. He carefully deployed the hoses from the truck, down our wood stairs taking care to assure the equipment wouldn't mar the steps or walls. I pointed out some coffee and other spots, then Nick went to work. He finished in about two hours and did a terrific job. There isn't much air circulation in the basement area so we ran a couple of box fans to help with drying. I felt that it took about 24- 36 hours for the carpet to feel bone dry. The spots are gone, the carpet nap is raised and it is clean everywhere. Thanks for the terrific work.

Crystal Carpet Care was very responsive and available to clean our carpet on short notice. Nick showed up at our home on time, walked through the house and explained the process he would be going through. We discussed moving some pieces of furniture such as two nightstands and a couch which he was willing to do. We also inquired about the possibility of doing a throw rug not arranged for in the original conversation at the time the appointment was made. Nick was friendly, methodical and did a good job on our carpets. After he completed the throw rug, it was set on top of sheets covering our high quality dining room table (after we discussed whether or not there would be any dampness seeping through the back). I was assured the carpet would not pose a problem and unfortunately I believed that. Two hours later, I went to reposition the throw rug and noticed water had in fact damaged the finish on our dining room table. I immediately called (after hours) Crystal Carpet Care office and within 30 minutes the owner was in our home looking over the damage. He was apologetic and astonished his staff recommended the placement of the rug on the table to begin with; stating they would remedy the problem. The company was very professional in taking responsibility for the damage. They researched high quality restoration companies to refinish the table (but were also willing to use someone else if we had someone else in mind) and also offered to replace it if we desired. They were expedient in acting on a resolution but did not pressure us while we conducted additional research on the companies they recommended and while we considered options. When we did decide to go with the restoration of the table top, they arranged the pickup and delivery of the table at time convenient to us. While the table was being restored, they found another table for us to use since it was our only eating space (although we did not take them up on that as we were in the process of moving). The restoration was very well done. The owners also provided a second carpet cleaning of our new home for no cost due to our inconvenience. Although a mistake was made, Crystal Carpet Care was responsive, took responsibility, and was pleasant to work with. They made as much of the process easy as possible on us. We appreciated this. The carpet cleaning was very good. Despite the mistake, I do recommend this company, not only for the carpet cleaning services but also for the care they display for their customers.

I have reported on this company before, every experience with them is very positive. Marilyn is who answers the phone and schedules the jobs. Jim has always been the person who cam out to do the carpet cleaning. In both cases, they are the nicest people and are very professional and caring. They always call to remind to the appt. the day before and follow up the day after to make sure everything went well. They are always punctual. I have nothing but good things to say. I would definitely recommend them to people I know.

I am picky. I am willing to pay for exceptional work.I am not a coupon clipper bargain shopper. I am however a very loyal customer. I was treated as I expect my companies customers to be treated and I received great service and product. I will only use their services in the future.

The company adjusted the schedule to meet my needs in spite of the fact that we are 45-60 minutes away from the business. The owner arrived on time the morning of the service in a clean, pressed uniform. He was clean and obviously took the time to ensure he presented a highly professional appearance. As soon as he arrived he started working and did all he could to prevent his work from interfering with my activities. I hired him to clean a love seat that one of my cats pee'd on during the snow storm when she couldn't get outside to go potty one night. I decided at the last minute to have him clean a recliner and the high-traffic areas of my floor in that room. He went over the loveseat several times. He'd stop and smell it to see if he got everything, and then go back over areas he felt needed more work. He had me check his work and willingly went back over areas where I noticed a need. Then when it was time to do the carpet he moved all my furniture! I was expecting him to clean around the furniture, but instead he moved everything out of the way (wouldn't let me help him move it!) and then returned everything where it was on foam blocks to help protect the carpet. I was very impressed and will definitely call on this business again!

Jim did a great job! I just bought a home and needed to clean the carpet. Jim showed up exactly when he said he would. He was very courteous, professional, and the quality of his work is superb. I will use his services again for my old home after I move into my new home.

Everything went well. I called on a Saturday and they were able to come out the next Wednesday. The carpet looks great and the stain in gone. The company called the next day to make sure that everything was fine, unfortunately, it went to my voicemail and i didn't get a chance to thank them directly for doing such a nice job.

We are extremely happy with the service Crystal Carpet Care provided. I spoke with Jim initially to go over the job and he was knowledgeable and professional, giving me a reasonable quote for both the clean and the re-stretching / tacking of the carpet. The service date was only a couple of days after the initial call and Jim arrived promptly with his stretching tool and truck mounted cleaning system. The job was a little larger (size wise) than he was expecting, but he did an excellent job and managed to carry out the work in the allotted time and at the agreed upon price. The musty wet dog smell is now completely gone and carpet looks almost brand new. We highly recommend Crystal Carpet Care for any professional carpet cleaning job!

I made the cleaning appt for the following week, since I wasn't in a hurry to have the work done. I was moving into the townhouse the next month, so the carpets were not blocked by furniture yet. The service person arrived at the agreed-upon time, completed the work efficiently, and did a great job. Marilyn was very courteous on the phone before and after the work was done. She made sure I was satisfied with the work performed.

I didn’t spend a whole lot on their services. It was probably less than $200. I can’t remember exactly. They were excellent and I will definitely use them again. They gave a courtesy call the day before and arrived on time. They did a quote for the rest of the house and I will have them back later this year. I will use their services again in the future.
