He easily handled the issue, then he lubricated all the moving parts and discussed with me the condition of my door and hardware, which is quite old, but which he said was still very serviceable. Very pleasant to deal with and he honored my 10% discount coupon from Angie's List.
Description of Work: After a power outage, my garage door was not completely closing, leaving a gap of about a foot at the bottom. I needed this fixed

+ -1 moreIt went really well. He actually corrected a mistake a previous garage door company made. The broken wire should not have even been there, since they are, by code, suppose to be in the ceiling. He just removed all the wire the previous person put in and connected the wire in the ceiling the way it was suppose to be.
Description of Work: Door wouldn't close. Looked like the wire going from the opener to the door was broken.

Description of Work: After viewing garage door installers on Angie's list and several other sources, decided to give Discount Door Services a chance. Called the listed phone number and talked to Will about our needs, replace garage door and install a garage door opener I had purchased many years ago for my parents (that had never gotten installed). We set an appointment and Will came out to evaluate our needs in person and discuss any options that might be considered. Will did say they could install my opener for a labor fee. After Will left, called wife and discussed options then called Will back and scheduled the door installation. (typical 2 car garage installation). On the day of the installation, installer kept me posted via cell phone on is progress to our home. When the installer arrived, we looked over the garage and moved anything out of the way that would impede the old door removal and new door installation. Once the work started, I placed a chair in the garage and watched the installation from time to time and offered to assist if needed. After new door installed and checked out, installation of opener completed and system adjusted and tested numerous times. Installer was courteous, friendly, efficient and thorough.

+ -1 moreCustomer service to the max. Will replaced the rollers and extended out the weather stripping that had been destroyed by critters trying to get into the house. The service provided was excellent! He did not rush me through and answered all questions; which, I had plenty of. Will had recommendations; however, was courteous with my check book stating all the little things would be included in a door replacement. So, he was honest and didn't try to milk my pocket book for smaller services, while I wait to replace the door. Great honest service, and I will reuse him for the door replacement when that happens.

He had to return to replace some trim that was dislodged by the door coming off track. He returned as promised several days later and replaced the trim. Prices are very reasonable.

Art arrived today and did a great job! Our new Liftmaster openers are quiet and a great improvement from what we had. Work was well done, and the area cleaned up.
