My garage door spring was broken and my car stuck inside the garage. Discount was able to come out the same day. Eric was on-time and very professional, He not only replaced the springs but checked over all other garage door components. He identified a problem, an important nut and bolt was missing. He spent extra time to find and install the nut & bolt and retest the operation of the garage door at no extra charge.

Everything went very well as stated above. Will definitely hire again if needed.

I have a double garage door with a rusted overlays. One of the two springs broke a couple a few days ago and the garage door wasn't able to open due to too much load on the motor. I called one of the garage door companies who had a special on this site. When they came they removed the broken coil and the other coil to get info on the coils in order to get the right replacement coils. Once the coils were removed, they told me that my coils were of a commercial grade to handle the additional load of my door overlays, that they would have to special order the coils that would take 4 business days to get here, and that they would not be eligible for the price special that they were offering. I told them that I wanted to shop around and that I would let them know in a couple of days. They were very polite, professional, and didn't charge me anything for the visit or the work that they did to remove the coils. My next call was to Discount Door and they said that they had the coils in stock, they quoted a price that was almost half of what the other company quoted, and they offered to come to my house the next morning (i.e. Sunday). Wow! They just completed the work and they went ahead and tuned my door and checked and lubed my other door for no additional cost.

Showed up on time, completed the job when he said he would. Very friendly and professional, would highly recommend.

Absolutely superb! I ordered the garage door opener from Home Depot and made the installation appointment early on a Monday morning (for 15 Jan 2018), which was 5 days after the previous Wednesday expected delivery date. The Home Depot delivery date was then delayed (to Tuesday 16 January) but Discount Door Service allowed me to keep the Monday appointment date/time up to the last day in case the new opener kit arrived early. They even told me I could call on SUNDAY (day prior to Monday early morning installation date) to update them on the delivery so they could adjust the date later. Wow! So I did, re-scheduling for Thursday 18 Jan. In both cases, they eagerly scheduled my requested date/time for installation to fit my needs. Only very minor glitch is they got 2 customers for Monday morning named "Steve" confused and the tech showed up around 7am Monday at my house instead of the other "Steve". So internal scheduling error. On Thursday, 18 Jan, with expected show-time between 7am and 8am, the tech Eddie showed up at 8:10am. He got right to work and EXPERTLY removed all the old garage door opener equipment (motor, rail, wall switch inside and outside, etc.) and also did a garage door tune-up (replaced two bottom door rollers and re-tensioned spring slightly). Never took even a minute break and worked quietly, efficiently, and courteously. Took about 90 minutes to do it all, then had me check everything (all good). He and knew the old garage door opener system was junk so had it already loaded in the back of his truck for disposal without me even having to ask. I also got a "senior" discount off the Angie's website and the price was VERY VERY reasonable compared to another garage door company who wanted to order me a new garage door opener with same features as one I bought costing over $400 without installation. Also, the garage tune-up was so minor and quick to check, Eddie effectively did not charge me for his tune-up labor and just the cost of 2 rollers. So the bill was pleasantly BELOW what the estimate was (that seldom happens as you know). All in all, I was very impressed in how I was able to schedule at MY desired time/date, how Discount Garage incredibly worked with me on the appointments even via a Sunday phone call, and Eddie's superb craftsmanship and the way he efficiently completed all tasks without rushing. Discount Garage clearly demonstrated to me they treat their customers well and unlike many other contractors, the price was PERFECT. I will not hesitate to use them and recommend them to anyone.

Punctual, pleasant, efficient technician. Answered questions about the garage door unrelated to the work that the coupon was for, explained issues, performed some minor repairs without charge, added a service I requested (replace sensors) for a modest additional charge. Garage door now works smoothly! I didn’t rate the price because I don’t know what other companies charge, but it seemed to me to be reasonable.

It was a pleasure to deal with this firm. The owner (Will) and staff are very pleasant, well-informed/knowledgeable, and prompt. The work was flawless, and the price was very fair. They made sure that I understood all of the features of the new opener and answered all of my questions before they left. I will use Discount Door Service for any future garage door service issues that I may have.

We were very pleased with the service we received. The technician arrived on time, explained what he was planning to do and got to work. In the process, he noticed some loose and/or missing fasteners in two of the door section hinges and he replaced them as well. This is the third time we have dealt with Discount and we will continue to call on them for our garage door needs. Their price may be discounted, but their service is top dollar.

Joel was there from Discount Door Service in about 3 hours of my initial phone call. Garage door had been replaced by previous owner but rollers and maintaining it had never been done. Joel got it working quickly. Explained what was wrong and that I was good to go but it would probably happen again. I paid to have the door springs updated and other parts replaced. Door was stuck halfway down when it failed. Repair tech arrived within 4 hours of my phone call. Replaced all parts within two hours. Came back a few days later and replaced the motor. Quick, effective and friendly.
