Service was excellent. Provided an estimate for door panel replacement free of charge. Was honest that we did not need the service we purchased through Angie's list. When ready to do service will call them back!

It went very smoothly and there was now doubt in my mind that the Technician and his helper were very experienced in providing the very best service. They were very courtious as well as very professional.

Will was the individual who performed the work. He was very courteous and efficient getting the work completed. I was able to get an appointment quickly and one that fit my schedule. I was the second appointment he had that day and he arrived at a reasonable time. He called when he was complete with his prior appointment to let me know he was on his way. After replacing the spring he inspected the motor and let me know that it was showing wear. Which isn't surprising since it is about 12 years old. He indicated that it would probably continue to work for a while. I liked that he wasn't pushy in trying to sell me a new garage door opener. I will definitely use this business when I decide to replace the garage door opener.

Needed to get an old, noisy Genie garage door opener replaced. Found Discount Door Service on Angie's List, looked at his website, and called him to get information. He actually has prices listed on his no-nonsense website -- which made me feel more comfortable knowing what to expect. He was very knowledgeable about the Liftmaster 8355 and confirmed that my 2002 vehicle's Homelink would not be able to communicate with the opener without an additional repeater. I had researched this already online, but it was refreshing to speak with someone who knew a lot about the product he was advertising and selling. He quoted me the exact price over the phone -- and even called me back a few minutes after we got off the phone to disclose that sales tax would be additional. We agreed he would come out in a week, would bring the additional repeater with him too (he sold that to me for less than what I would pay online -- which was great), and would honor my Angie's List coupon. He showed up on time and lived up to all his promises. He worked efficiently and professionally -- and he even programmed my car's Homelink transmitter. He didn't try to sell me anything additional -- which pleasantly surprised me. I couldn't be happier with the experience. If you need a new garage door opener, call this guy -- don't call those other companies in Tucson that do a bunch of advertising everywhere. Those other companies advertise coupons claiming they'll install the same opener for $279, but they'll charge you a $69 service call fee on top of that (better read the fine print) -- and then they'll try to up-sell you a bunch of overpriced stuff you probably don't need.

Very timely response to my email. We arranged for service 3 weeks out and without any follow up, they showed up on time - so kudos for being reliable. Price was fair and service was professional.

The tech arrived pretty much on time, completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, and programmed my remote to work with the larger button, plus programmed my car opener to work. The door had been hanging up periodically and we ran the door several times to test it out and see if it was going to hang up again. It looks like the problem was taken care of with the lube and new ball bearing rollers. But the 11 year old opener decided to fry a capacitor during the test and started smoking. The tech unplugged it immediately. He replaced the capacitor for $40 parts and labor. I'm glad it went out while he was here to repair it! I'm satisfied that the work was done in good order and will call them again when I need anything else done. I would recommend them.

On time, only charged estimate and were quick and thorough.

Everything went well. He was very professional, pleasant to talk with. He informed me of some stress cracks in the door. He didnot try to sell me a door, he just mentioned I should concider replacing it within the next two or three years. When I'm ready for that new door, he'll be hearing from me. My neighbor got his card as well, he wants his door replaced.

GREAT - We need a new Garage Door. Will replace it sometime in the future .

I have done business with Discount Door Service at least three times in the past ten years starting with Will's father and now Will himself a few times. Will is a straight up professional which is very refreshing to see in his business. I called him in the morning and by the end of the day he had my garage equipment whispering like brand new again. I had two springs replaced-springs made in the USA too! I asked Will about the Angie's List door roller special. He looked at my rollers and said I didn't need them. Very honest of him to say that and shows he adheres to the highest ethics in my opinion. As for the keypad he sold me and installed, I couldn't have gotten a better deal on the price of it at Home Depot, let alone have it quickly installed by a professional. (I've previously purchased an opener from Will and again a great price on that item too.) Anyway, long story short Will of Discount Door Service is a straight shooter, a hard worker, he's dedicated and honest. And no, I wasn't paid to say this. Good company and I certainly will always recommend him to friends and family.

I purchased the service through Angie's list on Weds, Jan 6 and they called me bright and early the morning of the 7th. We made an appointment for that afternoon between 1 and 3 PM. The technician showed up on time and asked for some details on what kind of problems we were having. After diagnosing a couple of problems he went to work and was finished in about an hour. The door is now quieter and smoother that it was even when it was new. I'm very impressed with the professionalism of the work and just wish I'd gotten this done a long time ago.

Arrived on time and promptly did the work. I had him come back to install an outdoor keypad, which he did as scheduled and at a reasonable price. Would definitely use him again.

The provider called after Christmas week and by that time I had had the repairs done. He was very gracious and understanding and I would not hesitate to use him in the future. My concern now is how to get my $100.00 refunded. I have emailed Angies List and attempted to make contact by phone. Verizon says the call cannot be completed. HELP!!

The young man was wonderful. He did a few extras, as well. My garage door works much better now. He was a little late, but I think it was because he had so many orders at once.

They corrected a problem with the door's lift arm caused by improper securing of bolts in the arm.....(We recently had a new Liftmaster installed by another company) and installed new roller-wheels on the door.

The appointment was for between 3 and 5 and he came at 5. He pointed out the problem with the garage door and found that it was too old for him to do the replacement of the rollers. He gave me the information on how to move forward. He was really nice and explained everything

Used coupon for a tune up. That went well do I scheduled additional replacement of the gaskets around the doors. That went well also.

Will was able to fix a problem I have had with my garage door since it was installed. I have had other companies out to deal with the issue, even the one that installed the door without satisfactory results. So, Will saved the day!
