Will Anderson was very prompt in contacting me when I purchased the coupon. We set the date, a one hour time frame, he called prior to arriving and was even early. Will made appropriate adjustments, switched some wiring around that fed into the switch, lubricated and adjusted the tracks. He did not impose a sales pitch, was professional and appeared to know what he was doing. I will call him again in the future.

Will tuned up my garage door per my Angie's List Big Deal but the door still needed old strips on the opening replaced. He came back on Monday and replaced those and the door is operating smoothly and quietly. He was on time, professional and a very pleasant person; when I eventually need a new door opener (sooner rather than later I expect) I'll be calling him. I found him to be a garage door maintenance person I feel I can trust.

Works as expected. Some long term problems were also fixed, too. Clean and neat when done.

Initially everything was fine but the garage door had not been serviced for a while so Will had to work out some kinks. I had to have him come back out because one morning the door would not close. He came out that afternoon and made some more adjustments. Everything seemed fine but the next day when I opened the door the rollers on the opposite side had come out of the track. This had nothing to do with the work. I again contacted Will and he was out that morning. He replaced the plate on that side thinking perhaps because the one side had been replaced it was maybe putting a strain on the old plate. He replaced it and we tested the door numerous times without incident. He did not charge me for anything but the initial visit. The door has been working great since then!!! I will definitely use Will when it is time to replace the garage door opener and/or the door. I would highly recommend him. He is very professional and wants to make sure the customer is happy. He apologized for the problems I was having and I told him....well the door is old and hadn't been serviced for years. I knew these issues had nothing to do with his work.

So grateful to Will! My garage door spring broke on Friday at 3 pm and the door wouldn't open--no way to get the cars out over the weekend. I called a different company that we had used on a previous occasion and they said they could come out on Monday or charge time and a half for an emergency call on Saturday. I called Discount Door Service and they called me right back, came out at 5 on Friday, fixed the problem perfectly, and charged a very reasonable price. So glad others had recommended this company. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. So glad I found them!

I had to call and try and figure out a problem I was having with getting my garage open. The owner or person who answered the phone, took the time to problem solve with me and give me suggestions to get the door open - without making an appointment. It was professional and a kind thing to do. I had already called three services who were giving me the run around each time. Whether this option works or not, he at least gave me the time to discuss the issue and offer suggestions. If his suggestions don't work, I will definitely call him to come work his magic. It went great! Will Anderson gave us estimates to replace the existing double garage door and single garage door. Will didn't pressure us to make an on the spot decision, and he understood that we had to community HOA approval before moving ahead with job. Once we received approval, we hired Will based on his pricing and professional manner. We decided to have only the double garage door and motor installed at this time since we are not using the single garage door. The day of installation was a breeze. Will and helper showed up on time and qucikly went to work removing the 20 year old garage door and motor. They worked tirelessly for several hours on a very warm February day. They cleaned up and hauled off all debris. Will not only painted the double door, but touched up paint on the surrounding house area to be certain all areas blended and met the color scheme requirements.. When it comes time to replace the single garage door and motor, we will call Will Anderson at Discount Doors to do the work.

Showed up exactly on time. Immediately showed me the "problem" was not nearly as bad as I thought. Beyond solving the problem he then tuned up the system and left the door as good as new.

He did an absolutely super job. He did a super clean up and was very nice. A month and a half later all of a sudden it did not work so I called him up. A nut had gone loose and it did not have anything to do with the door, it was on the actual opener and he ever said anything. He just fixed it.?He showed up when he said he would and did what he said he would.?He was polite and on time.?He was immediately available and his price was equal to or lower to the rest.

It all went well. He is so conscientious and we love our new steel/copper garage door. The lift master even impressed my skeptical husband.

Had special Angies List coupon. Fast scheduling of work, prompt team arrival, explained how new lifter worked. Took less than hour. Personable service people.

Discovered the broken spring Friday morning, called and talked to Will. He said he could come out that afternoon. He arrived on time and did the tune-up and replaced the spring. He did an excellent job and was very professional. I was very pleased with the work done. I will definitely call him again when needed.

Used Angie's List Big Deal to purchase garage door opener plus installation and tune up. Garage door opener was top quality belt drive model, and installation was professionally done. Would certainly use them again for any garage door service in the future.

My garage door broke and started to come off the tracks Saturday evening. I was unable to shut it and had to brace it with a ladder. I found Discount Door Service on Angie's List and saw Will and his companywere highly rated.....Well they weren't lying. I called Will and left a message. Will called me back a short time later. Although he had been out of town, he called me back on his way back home. Even better, he offered to stop by and help me get my garage door shut and secured. True to his word he stopped on his own time and got my door temporarily shut and secured until he could return Monday to make repairs. He had great communication come Monday and worked around my schedule. He completed the repairs quickly and at a fair price. Great guy and great service. I will go to him for all my future needs. Highly recommended!

Will answered the phone promptly (on 2/12) when I called and was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. He even asked if our car was trapped in the garage. I believe he would have come out on an emergency call if that had been the case. I assured him that the car was not in the garage. Will said he could come over to do the repair the next day between 2 and 4 p.m. He arrived shortly after 2 p.m. Oh, by the way, he is the owner of the business and told me when I called that he would be doing the repair himself. He had also assured me that he would have all the possible springs right on his truck. That was a huge relief since the last man we hired had to come over, measure the spring and then go purchase the spring, which took a couple of hours. Will fixed the garage door opener so quickly that I didn't even realize he had left when the doorbell rang again. The door now sounds so much better! Oh, by the way, I pointed out that our other garage door opener (on the other bay of the garage) sounded pretty awful and Will agreed to check that one out too. He told us that the chain was dragging because the sprocket it goes around is probably bending forward but that he didn't expect it to need replacing just yet, especially because we seldom use that door. So, for no extra fee, he adjusted that garage door opener and lubricated it. That was very nice! Overall, I was so impressed with Will and his service that I opened up Angie's List to volunteer to do the survey. I'm very pleased with Discount Door Service! The phone number is 579-9084. I called Discount and got a next-day appointment. Will and his assistant replaced a broken torsion spring and replaced several hinges and rollers that were badly worn. A couple of days later, the bracket holding the center of the shaft broke loose from the wall to which it had been attached. This was not a result of Will's work, but rather due to shoddy installation by the original installer. Fortunately no damage was done. I called Will and he came the next morning. He re-hung the shaft and the torsion spring and securely re-anchored the center bracket. He did not charge us for the extra work. I was extremely happy with Discount Door Service and will definitely use them again if I ever need to.

He took down the existing garage door opener which was not working and installed a new one. The door was not working at all and we could not get the car out the garage. He made sure everything was working and that was what we contacted him for.

My experience with them was good. The cost was just the $89 Big Deal purchase price; it was good.
