My husband and I hired him on the basis that he recycles the old wood from decks, at NO profit to him, but this is an excellant environmentally friendly feature that was the MAIN reason we picked Jeff to do our deck. Did an okay job on my project. Was inexexpensive, completed in a timely manner, but communication could be better.

They just completed my fence. I am very particular, and work didnt initially match my expectation, but Mr. Yount came out and did his best to fix the cosmetic items i showed him. I think in the future I should be clearer about what I expect. Overall I'm satisfied, but I would have hoped for more attention to detail.

Jeff just finished renovating of and building small extention to our deck. We are very satisfied with the job he did and with the professional, helpful and thorough manner he approched it. We'd hired Jeff again to built a garden shed for us, and we'll hire him again whenever we need a carpenter.

He was great! Came to my house to install new railings on my deck. Did it in one day. I asked him to return to do some other work for us and he did those well too. I highly recommend him for anyone!

We had Jeff install a dog door through a wall in our kitchen to our backyard. He also extended the existing stairs which go outside from our sliding glass door to under the new dog door. He was right on time, very efficient and completely cleaned up the work area. Jeff is a really nice man, very professional. His work was top notch with very competitive rates. If we need anything else in the future we will call him.

Jeff from JD Yount Construction, Inc., was fantastic. I would do business with him again and have already started referring him to others. His deck work was top-notch, putting extra care into the project and being flexible on changes as the project went along. He was timely with completing the project. He returned my call right away and showed up on time for our appointment. He looked at the job of replacing my deck, we talked about what I wanted and he had some good ideas. A couple days later, he gave me a very good price and started when he said he would. He always called to let me know how his schedule was going and he built a beautiful, sturdy new deck. It turned out better than I expected. I'm very happy.

Jeff Yount was prompt with his bid and in completing the project. The project was small, but critical in improving the traffic flow on our deck. I needed to have stairs off the back side of the deck relocated, and Jeff did that and also spotted and repaired a couple points in the post and pier foundation that were sinking. All of this was done for a very reasonable price.

Jeff did a beautiful job on my deck. He is very professional and reliable -- shows up exactly when he says he will and finished the job quickly. He is a skilled craftsman and left the job site neat and clean when he finished. I am extremely pleased, the deck is just exactly what I wanted at a price that fit my budget. Excellent quality at an excellent price. I am going to have him rebuild my fence next.

Working with JD Yount Construction (Jeff and his son) was extremely enjoyable. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to complete a deck and/or small home profject ! ! We were able to work with Jeff and make suggestions as well as he made sugestions that saved us money and kept the project cost effective. Not only did he have the BEST bid quote but he also was the only one to bid exactly what we asked for and not suggest additional upgardes that in our opinion would have raised the costs and scope of the project. Jeff did a great job of replacing a deteriorating support post under my deck, on time and on budget. Coincidentally, the wind blew over my canvas barn during the job and he re-erected and secured it so that won't happen again. Thanks, Jeff.

Fast, efficient and reasonable priced. We received 4 bids and selected JD Yount because they were one of the best priced and the reviews were terrific. We are very happy we did. The deck is finished and looks great and was all done in a few days after we hired them.

Under the worst weather conditions Jeff performed an outstanding job. Our expectations were exceeded with the outcome of our fence and deck project.

Most of the porch looks great, but the planning wasn't good for part and had to be redone. It didn't work as well as it would have if the planning had been done better. Also, the cement blocks should've been back farther and not sticking out--doesn't look good. Came and redid the cement blocks and so we are much happier with the porch.

Overall the deck is absolutely beautiful, and the price was excellent- best we saw. They were MUCH better priced than any of the other quotes I received, and it is a very nice porch- we have received many compliments since it has been completed. Some of the details could have been handled better- we didn't quite agree with how a few of the details were handled. Payment also was an issue- we agreed to a payment schedule, and then we were asked to write additional checks towards the end of the job. The price did not increase, but it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, very positive experience, and we would work with them again.
