Evergreen State Heat & AC has been in Everett for over 50 years and has always had a locally owned family feel. Evergreen is the only Everett based company to have attained the exclusive status of Trane Comfort Specialist and Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer. We are a registered contractor with both Snohomish PUD and Puget Sound Energy utilities, and have longstanding relationships in the community with both the Everett Chamber and Washington Better Business Bureau. Our mission is to help customers understand the ‘who over what’ concept which means we believe that it is far more important WHO installs, services and supports your system than simply WHAT brand you choose. Best Heating Service Company! I want to replace my old electric furnace with ductless heat pump. I did my research and contacted 5 major PUD authorized heating companies. Leslie came to my home and give very good information of energy saving options as well as cost effective package. She is very patient and knowledgable, She helped me making the right decision of select right Mitsubishi Heat Pump and Mini-splits (5 zone system). Jared came couple days before the installation to walk through and make sure all requirement are there for a successfully installation. During the installation, Ross, Matt, Jared, Jake, Cliff and Able are very professional, polite, customer care oriented crew, they are doing installation successfully, and clean up everything afterward. I have my new Mitsubishi heating system running on second day of installation. Everything worked out perfectly. It is beyond my expectation. Great job Leslie, Jared, Ross, Matt, Jake, Cliff, Able. Evergreen State Heat & AC was sent by our PugetSound Energy office to help us with a no heat output furnace. The repairman checked the thermostat, opened the furnace service panel and told us the fan is running slow. He left for the day and came back the next day just to tell us that we owe his company $248 (before tax) which we have to pay before he can proceed further (whatever that is). I asked what work was done and asked for verification regarding what's wrong with the furnace and what solution he has to restore the heat to the house. The repairman called his boss and I got a full screaming voice for refusing to pay and that he will send the bill to collection service if we don't pay now. I'm $75 year old and I won't tolerate any kind of threat. They called again today and my wife picked up the phone just to be screamed at and ended up paying them $268 to avoid getting threatening phone calls ever again. We will try to get in touch with PugetSound Energy to make sure that they won't charge us in the next bill. We wonder how this company is rated A on Angie... ??? Personal Heater is our friend for now.

We have had Evergreen State service our old furnace for years. Always very professional. When it was time to replace, upgrade and add AC, we called Evergreen. Leslie was very thorough in her inspection and bid. Our house was sold with an unfinished daylight basement. Once it was finished by the previous owner, the furnace and return wasn't enough for the double square footage and the basement was always cold. Rich came to inspect and create a plan to add a second return in the basement He is a genius!! It was a pleasure to work with Rich and Abel. They were both so polite, engaging and always called my little dog by name. They care about their work and attention to detail. Abel helped me set up the new digital thermostat and gave me a tutorial. Both always explained each step of the process. It was a pleasure to work with them. So happy to have heat!

Rich and Adam arrived on time, were courteous, worked very efficiently both independently and as a team, and provided the specific product I requested (Simpson Duravent High Wind Cap). The project was not inexpensive, but competitively priced compared with other estimates. While other heating/ac companies turned down the work as "too small" or were reluctant to tackle the roof slope (8:12), Rich capably maneuvered around the roof. I appreciated their willingness to assist with this small, but important house repair.

One time in the winter when my furnace was down they brought me a bunch of space heaters so. I pay a yearly fee for their annual service and it gives me a break on other things that happens during the year..

I described the problem to Evergreen over the phone. Our heat pump had been leaking water on our garage floor. Another highly ranked company had come out and 'repaired' it. Three days later our heat pump was no longer cooling our house. During the 'repair' the repairman had found that our heat pump was low on coolant and added less than 2lbs of coolant. The same repairman was dispatched and found no coolant in our system. He did a leak search and found none. He assured me that there was no leak, and since we had locking caps on our pump there was minimal chance of a theft. Evergreen was intrigued and sent out Kiel to diagnose the problem that day. Kiel found the leak within a few minutes. He didn't have time to fix it that day, but he was able to show me exactly where it was. He clearly explained what he needed to do to fix the leak and why it was necessary. He gave me a good price quote and told me when he could return. Because he couldn't return for a few days and because the total cost of the repair was over $1,000 I got a second opinion from a third company, Bel-Red. Bel-Red refused to give me an estimate without sending a technician to my house and charging me for a diagnosis. Their estimate for a 'leak search' and repair was more than twice Evergreen's estimate. Kiel fixed my heat pump. He was extremely informative, polite and kind. I will stick with Evergreen State for future work.

Our furnance was on its last legs and we decided to look at heat pumps for our 2100 square foot house. I called 4 HVAC companies and we went with Evergreen and several others. I had a couple of bids from some big companies and the sales folks that come sure had nice vehicles with shiny graphics.... and high pressure sales pitches. The Evergreen estimator called to

We decided to go with Evergreen Heating and A/C , based on both good pricing and the professionalism of the estimator/sales person. I also liked that they were a local family business.
Once we signed off on the bid, the scheduler called and helped us set up a time to get the Heat Pump and tankless water heater installed and was also able to work with me and the insulation crew so that it could be done simultaneously so I didn't have to take even more time off work.
The install crew were very professional and made sure we had hot water on the night during the two day installation.
It has been 6 months since they did the installation and I couldn't be happier with the work they did and I highly recommend them.

After two days of investigation it was "discovered" that the heat pump had no refrigerant in a unit that was never supposed to lose coolant. But yet it had been cooling just fine. It cost me $800 to fix a unit supposedly under warranty. Disgusted with the service and product.

After researching options we decided to utilize Evergreen for the installation of our system. They walked us through PUD rebate paperwork, located 0% financing, and were prompt in the installation. As I was home at the time I had the pleasure of meeting their staff who explained thoroughly the use of the system and its capabilities. After the installation out compressor went out and they were quick to apologize and fix the issue under warranty.

Our furnace is original to the home (approx 1968) and I thought he was going to try and sell me a new unit. We did talk about obtaining a new, more energy efficient furnace, however he talked me through all the options. Meaning we discussed the most energy efficient options and the less costly furnace replacement options as well as just going with the fix he performed. I was impressed that he didn't insist that we needed to replace our furnace. I was left feeling like he wanted me to really consider the options and make an informed choice.
So far we have stuck with the current furnace. When it comes time to make that change we will call this company. I was very pleased with the professionalism and work completed, as well as the cost.
