Best Heating Service Company! I want to replace my old electric furnace with ductless heat pump. I did my research and contacted 5 major PUD authorized heating companies. Leslie came to my home and give very good information of energy saving options as well as cost effective package. She is very patient and knowledgable, She helped me making the right decision of select right Mitsubishi Heat Pump and Mini-splits (5 zone system). Jared came couple days before the installation to walk through and make sure all requirement are there for a successfully installation. During the installation, Ross, Matt, Jared, Jake, Cliff and Able are very professional, polite, customer care oriented crew, they are doing installation successfully, and clean up everything afterward. I have my new Mitsubishi heating system running on second day of installation. Everything worked out perfectly. It is beyond my expectation. Great job Leslie, Jared, Ross, Matt, Jake, Cliff, Able. Evergreen State Heat & AC was sent by our PugetSound Energy office to help us with a no heat output furnace. The repairman checked the thermostat, opened the furnace service panel and told us the fan is running slow. He left for the day and came back the next day just to tell us that we owe his company $248 (before tax) which we have to pay before he can proceed further (whatever that is). I asked what work was done and asked for verification regarding what's wrong with the furnace and what solution he has to restore the heat to the house. The repairman called his boss and I got a full screaming voice for refusing to pay and that he will send the bill to collection service if we don't pay now. I'm $75 year old and I won't tolerate any kind of threat. They called again today and my wife picked up the phone just to be screamed at and ended up paying them $268 to avoid getting threatening phone calls ever again. We will try to get in touch with PugetSound Energy to make sure that they won't charge us in the next bill. We wonder how this company is rated A on Angie... ??? Personal Heater is our friend for now.

We have had Evergreen State service our old furnace for years. Always very professional. When it was time to replace, upgrade and add AC, we called Evergreen. Leslie was very thorough in her inspection and bid. Our house was sold with an unfinished daylight basement. Once it was finished by the previous owner, the furnace and return wasn't enough for the double square footage and the basement was always cold. Rich came to inspect and create a plan to add a second return in the basement He is a genius!! It was a pleasure to work with Rich and Abel. They were both so polite, engaging and always called my little dog by name. They care about their work and attention to detail. Abel helped me set up the new digital thermostat and gave me a tutorial. Both always explained each step of the process. It was a pleasure to work with them. So happy to have heat!

We have used them for years and been very happy with them. I have never compared the price. They do good quality. They come right out. He was here when he said he was going to be here. He was very professional.

Rich and Adam arrived on time, were courteous, worked very efficiently both independently and as a team, and provided the specific product I requested (Simpson Duravent High Wind Cap). The project was not inexpensive, but competitively priced compared with other estimates. While other heating/ac companies turned down the work as "too small" or were reluctant to tackle the roof slope (8:12), Rich capably maneuvered around the roof. I appreciated their willingness to assist with this small, but important house repair.

Service is very good and on time for service every year.

One time in the winter when my furnace was down they brought me a bunch of space heaters so. I pay a yearly fee for their annual service and it gives me a break on other things that happens during the year..

I think that their company was with integrity well I had one that was kind of a lemon they gave me a big break on a replacement so.

I described the problem to Evergreen over the phone. Our heat pump had been leaking water on our garage floor. Another highly ranked company had come out and 'repaired' it. Three days later our heat pump was no longer cooling our house. During the 'repair' the repairman had found that our heat pump was low on coolant and added less than 2lbs of coolant. The same repairman was dispatched and found no coolant in our system. He did a leak search and found none. He assured me that there was no leak, and since we had locking caps on our pump there was minimal chance of a theft. Evergreen was intrigued and sent out Kiel to diagnose the problem that day. Kiel found the leak within a few minutes. He didn't have time to fix it that day, but he was able to show me exactly where it was. He clearly explained what he needed to do to fix the leak and why it was necessary. He gave me a good price quote and told me when he could return. Because he couldn't return for a few days and because the total cost of the repair was over $1,000 I got a second opinion from a third company, Bel-Red. Bel-Red refused to give me an estimate without sending a technician to my house and charging me for a diagnosis. Their estimate for a 'leak search' and repair was more than twice Evergreen's estimate. Kiel fixed my heat pump. He was extremely informative, polite and kind. I will stick with Evergreen State for future work.

Very professional, good price. One of the installations was a challenge, but they did a great job of figuring out a solution..

Our furnance was on its last legs and we decided to look at heat pumps for our 2100 square foot house. I called 4 HVAC companies and we went with Evergreen and several others. I had a couple of bids from some big companies and the sales folks that come sure had nice vehicles with shiny graphics.... and high pressure sales pitches. The Evergreen estimator called to scheduled a time to meet with us and she provided several options for us to choose from and give us lots of information on the choices. She recommended we also have our crawlspace insulation and duct work looked at and provided some referrals for the insulation work. We decided to go with Evergreen Heating and A/C , based on both good pricing and the professionalism of the estimator/sales person. I also liked that they were a local family business. Once we signed off on the bid, the scheduler called and helped us set up a time to get the Heat Pump and tankless water heater installed and was also able to work with me and the insulation crew so that it could be done simultaneously so I didn't have to take even more time off work. The install crew were very professional and made sure we had hot water on the night during the two day installation. It has been 6 months since they did the installation and I couldn't be happier with the work they did and I highly recommend them.

After two days of investigation it was "discovered" that the heat pump had no refrigerant in a unit that was never supposed to lose coolant. But yet it had been cooling just fine. It cost me $800 to fix a unit supposedly under warranty. Disgusted with the service and product.

Not well. Poor communication from all staff. Inconsistent messages regarding charges. Poor follow-up and erroneous information transferred from staff. Would not use them again.

After researching options we decided to utilize Evergreen for the installation of our system. They walked us through PUD rebate paperwork, located 0% financing, and were prompt in the installation. As I was home at the time I had the pleasure of meeting their staff who explained thoroughly the use of the system and its capabilities. After the installation out compressor went out and they were quick to apologize and fix the issue under warranty.

They were extremely helpful, no pressure to make the changes now, they got back to us in a reasonable rime with the repair quotes we requested. The service was very professional.

Our furnace is original to the home (approx 1968) and I thought he was going to try and sell me a new unit. We did talk about obtaining a new, more energy efficient furnace, however he talked me through all the options. Meaning we discussed the most energy efficient options and the less costly furnace replacement options as well as just going with the fix he performed. I was impressed that he didn't insist that we needed to replace our furnace. I was left feeling like he wanted me to really consider the options and make an informed choice. So far we have stuck with the current furnace. When it comes time to make that change we will call this company. I was very pleased with the professionalism and work completed, as well as the cost.

I was scheduled promptly. The technician (Dan) was professional. He explained in detail what he did to maintain our furnace in good order. It was easy to talk with him about our furnace.

Now that all inspections have been signed off, I can write my review. It all started with Leslie's appointment for bidding. She said Evergreen did things right the first time. That was a good start. After reviewing a couple more bids, I chose Evergreen State. Largely because of Leslie's comment and the fact they were Everett-based. PUD knew them well also. My appointment was pushed up two days, which was fine with me but caused some problems with equipment from suppliers. Matt tore out the old furnace and realized the air handler they received was the wrong size from what PUD had intended. Almost 3 hours were wasted when Matt and Levi had to go to Kirkland to get the new one. Matt and the electricians did an outstanding job putting in the new unit and enclosing the new wiring in a very neat way. They didn't have to tear up my ceiling to do it. The L & I inspector also comment on the wiring approach. Levi spent hours under the house tearing out old insulation from the ducts. At the end of the second day my heat pump was ready to start working. Unfortunately, a minor problem was found in the wiring and the guys stayed past their time to leave so it would be fixed. The next day Levi was back under the house to seal all of the duct joints and wrap new insulation. I can't say enough about their work ethic. Matt's high standards in doing his job made everything worth it. I understand placing high standards on work I do, so I appreciated his. Thanks to all. Will call each year to have them check that everything is still on the money.

We just want to thank Mark for his honesty toward us about the trane heat pump and air handler. It definitely was as good as he said, and a lot better than expected. Matt did a great job of installing everything, and he did it all in one day. The tech's had great attitudes about the job, and answered my questions honestly. I would not estate telling my friends and family about Evergreen State Heat/AC and recommending them to you. Please tell everyone thanks for the great job. Robert and Lana

I found in October, it's ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get someone out to clean a furnace. I tried serveral different companies and had started to become discourage. when I finally found and called Evergreen I found that they bent over backward to accommodate me and get someone out to take a look at my furnace. (I was on a pretty short timeline due to impending sale of house). Jonathan arrived promptly and performed all service quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend him highly enough. Jonathan was friendly and professional and did a GREAT job for me!

They were fast, clean and came back to check their work. They made sure the inspector came out and everything was good.

I had a good experience with Rich (installer) several years ago on my central AC installation. Rich is a great guy, finished the job professionally, ahead of schedule and cleaned up leaving install area spotless. I would recommend Evergreen to anyone... Leslie (sales and estimator) also very friendly, courteous and thorough.

When I had my hot-water heater replaced, my plumber noticed that the pipe running from the furnace was almost straight, when it should be at a slant. He recommended Evergreen State to repair it. Mark patiently communicated with me by e-mail and phone for several months before I was able to afford the work. Rich did a great job. Everyone I dealt with at Evergreen was friendly and professional, and the work was very well done. Communication was prompt and informative.

Their prices are fair. I will continue to use them.

The tank never got warm. They sent several employees, and we almost had to go to court with the company.
