Raves from start to finish. Jim showed up on time. He thoroughly cleaned the HP; examined the ink cartridge and diagnosed a faulty ink cartridge. He then thoroughly cleaned the Epson; ran some tests and suggested we re-install the print drivers. We did as he suggested and both printers are working just fine now. He was very friendly and easy to work with. I definitely recommend this company for printer repair. They also supply printer cartridges and will be looking when we next need supplies.
Description of Work: Both of our ink-jet printers would no longer print in color. When I called The Cartridge Family, I was told a repair person would come to my house. We could bring the printers to them or they would send a repair person to our home. In home, it would be $25 if he didn't actually fix anything; our HP printer would be $60-80 based on the problem description; and our Epson printer wasn't worth repairing. When I called to actually set up the appointment, I was told that the $25 was a misquote but the company would honor it. Jim came to our home, evaluated both printers, and told us what to do to get them working again. Since he didn't actually fix anything the charge would be $25. However, the company has declined to bill us since it wasn't very much.
