Speedy Glass

The first windshield was replaced with no problems, however there was a small manufacturer's defect in the window glass. Speedy Glass replaced the windshield again at no charge as soon as the glue was cured from the first replacement, so that it could be removed.

I was able to drop off in the AM before they opened with a key drop. They are located on Aurora Ave N, and since I work in downtown Seattle I easily caught the bus. The business was no frills for sure, but they did a great job at a competitive price. They were very friendly and delivered on time. No drama, no aggrevation. I couldn't ask for more.

Did exactly what they said and in the amount of time they promised to replace my rapidly cracking windshield. Super efficient, friendly staff that simply gets the job done. Had my Chevy Equinox windshield type in stock, which several others did not. Also very competitive price.

Everything went smoothly and as planned

Speedy Glass came to my home and replaced my cracked windshield outside in the rain. My car was wet, the guy did put up a canopy while working, but said the rain wouldn't affect it. Well that was a total lie. I first noticed my car fogging up all over on the inside and soon I was scrapping ICE off the inside windows. I called them and reported problem and another repair guy came and this time I made sure my car was in the garage. The repair man said he could see anything but could tell the inside of my vehicle had water damage. By damage I mean the damp rid I put in my car had a large amount of water in it. Plus my seats and floor boards were damp. So he took off the windshield and resealed it just to be safe. I thought awesome. Well then comes some freezing weather and the inside of my car is still damp and no amount of damp rid seems to be able to soak up the inside moisture and my dash board starts cracking. I call speedy glass again and they deny the second repair man did anything and since the guy gave me no paper work I had no proof. After many arguments with speedy glass they finally got a hold of the guy who came the second time and he admitted resealing my windshield which means they accepted liability for all damages done. After many more phone calls to speedy glass I've gotten my dash repaired and my car detailed. It still smells musty and it's April now and has plenty of time to dry out. I would never use speedy glass again or let anyone put in a windshield on a wet car. Sure the glue is supposed to be great and cure in rain but I don't think it adheres to wet surfaces.

The rear window of our mini van blew out and during the rainy season we needed it fixed quick. Speedy was speedy and squeezed us in the day I called. I dropped it off around 5pm and they had it done by 10am next day. Good job, simple and quick. I did have difficulty with their phone service initially. It sounds like they have a national call center and I never did figure out how to call my local store directly and ask some of the questions. In the end it worked okay and they must know that's the best way to do it efficiently because.....it was.

Arrived on time as scheduled. Was professional and courteous. Did a very nice job on my car and i am very happy with my new windshield.

It went fine. The one guy who completed the job was fine.

I liked their price and service. They had a special, so it was about $215 for the Subaru, which is unbeatable. The service and the timing were great. They were right on task with the appointment time. I got out of their earlier than they said.

They were efficient. I think they did fine.

They gave us an estimate that was a good price to replace our leaking windows. They were very efficient, cleaned up and washed windows when done.

The job went fine. The installer was prompt, professional, and friendly. The only minor complaint I have is that the felt trim running along the inside of the windshield needed to be pressed in with a credit card after te job was done. Otherwise I am very happy with the work and would use this company again.

They were very courteous and prompt. Although I mentioned an Angie's List coupon, they said that was only for window replacement. But although the rock chip was very borderline as to repairability, they did a good job, and even threw in a windshield and quot;rain repellantand quot; treatment. I'd surely choose to use them again.

They arrived on time and were very professional. I was pleased with their work.

They came out here for the installation, but the temperature and weather was not cooperating. They took the vehicle back to their shop and completed the replacement there. They did a great job!

The first time they came out they had the wrong windshield and had to return a couple of days later. They put in the new windshield and took away the old one which had a and quot;Good-to-Goand quot; pass attached to it. After I got the bill, I noticed they was a fee for mobile service which was suppose to be free. I contacted the office and they said it was an error because of the 2nd visit. They refunded the amount to me. I also discovered a charge for the 520 Bridge Westbound on my Good-to-Go account apparently because it picked up our Good-to-Go sticker that was still on the old windshield when the Technician crossed the bridge going back to the shop. I got a refund for that also. All that said, I am very happy with the work and the new windshield. The other stuff was more a fluck and some miscommunication.

Called and requested windshield to be replaced due to rock damage. They took my info and scheduled me for the next day onsite service. The day of service recieved a call asking when I wanted to schedule my appointment, they apparently lost all data on me. 30 minutes into the reschedule they "found" my paperwork. Still on for the afternoon. They were to call 1/2 hour before they arrived...did not recieve a call, until they were on site. Thankfully, I was only 2 miles away but that could have been problematic. Finally, the technician took a look and realized that he had the wrong glass. The way he was talking, his management knew this...and said "give it a try anyway". So, basically this was a wasted trip - and I had to take 1/2 day off from work to be told it needed to be rescheduled. HORRIBLE....

I called 6 places in the metro Seattle area and they were not only available the same day to do the work, they were also considerably less than the competition (which ranged from stupid to outrageous). There was an issue and I had to leave without the job done, but they installed a temporary plastic window that worked OK, kept the rain out. I returned a couple days later and they attempted to complete install. They could not finish again because a part had worn down and was not working, not their fault. Overall it was good work for a fair price, in a reasonable amount of time.

He was experienced and fixed the rock chip damage as if it had never happened. And they took care of the insurance paperwork - priceless.

Made appointment online last week through wizard. Then got call from rep about 15 minutes later. ( I don't recall the wizard telling me they would be calling) rep confirmed all data. I showed up this morning. They had wrong windshield. They asked me if the phone call rep asked me about my windshiled being a moisture detection model........that was 4 days ago, I don't remember. But if he had I certainly would have said yes because I am well aware of that feature. At the location, it was dirty, run downk badly in need of painting in and out. I was not greeted as I walked in. No eye contact. Two gals sit behind a shared desk. Starring at their computers. The technician came out and jumped in my car without any acknowledgement or introduction, started it as I was retireving articles. I had to ask him about how long it would take (1 hour) this was not volunteered to me at the reception desk. Waited about 3-5 minutes then tech sticks his head out the door and tells the gals the bad news. I left without making a new appointment. Obviously they are all paid minimum wage with no incentive. No money is spent on site

Erica was great with the scheduling and getting back to me about fixing the driver's door mirror. She also gave me a tip on where to find another car part. Bill, the manager, did the glass replacement and did a perfect job. Was really nice about answering questions. Took about an hour and a half. Bring something to read; the waiting area is clean and quiet enough.

My experience with them was good. They were responsive, came out quickly and did the work. I called at about three different places and their price was very competitive, it is not better than everyone else.
