+ 7 moreI was extremely pleased with the job Chuck did on my kitchen remodel. I felt that Chuck was honest and reliable, and I would definitely use him again! He had great communication with me, starting with our initial meeting, after which he followed up with a specific estimate of work---which by the way, he stuck to his estimate when I paid him his final payment. I felt like Chuck really listened to my needs, even when I wanted to make small adjustments. He even fit in little extra jobs that I came up with along the way! He and his crew cleaned up each day as promised. Chuck is very talented in so many areas, and takes pride in his work! I would definitely have him do other jobs for me.
Description of Work: I feel quite lucky to have selected Chuck as my kitchen contractor----I love my kitchen, and was so pleased with all the excellent work that was done. Chuck did a complete kitchen remodel, gutting the kitchen totally. Several areas of my old kitchen walls were removed to open up the room (1950's house) to the living room and dining room. Chuck arranged for excellent subcontractors to prepare plumbing, and also to rough out electrical for track lighting and other electrical needs. The kitchen remodel included tile on the floor and backsplash, new cabinets, all new appliances, paint, granite countertops, sink and faucet, window blinds, and so many other things! I also had Red Dog paint the entire living room, dining room, and hallway. The entire process took under six weeks.

+ 4 moreChuck was very punctual and communicated clearly and regularly. The quality of the work was top-notch, and the prices were quite reasonable. It was obvious that he and his crew took pride in the quality of their work.
Description of Work: Replaced tub, sink, toilet, faucets and shower fixtures,stainless grab bars, and custom floor, counter and windowsill tiling. Painting. Installed french doors in living room.

+ -1 moreI really like the guys that worked for them. This was the first time that I handed my key over to anyone and left for work, but they were trustworthy and they did a good job. Everything is working well and I don't have any complaints. My friend used them and recommended them to me.

+ -1 moreMr Chuck Gorder, owner of Red Dog Renovations came to our house to look at the work that needed to be done, in April 2009. He said he was interested in doing the job, took all the measurements and sent us a quote by email. We agreed on his quote and later got a confirmation starting date. Then, he started to pull off our work and at the end of May, he finally wrote us telling us that he is increasing his and his carpenter hourly rate and that he will charge us for his travel time from North Seattle to Snohomish. Mr. Gorder did not honor his contract with us. He does not believe that an email is a legal document even if it is indeed a legal correspondence. A retraction of his original bid is so dishonorable.
Description of Work: Did not perform any services because after the quote approval by email, he decided to increase his prices and charge us for the travel time.
