Description of Work: O'neill's plumber replaced 9 valves because they were all old and needed replacing. They estimated $1000 for parts and labor but the final bill was around $900 for everything including tax. They were very professional and responsive when we called them back because the valve in the laundry closet kept leaking even after replacing and they sent someone out immediately. Only complaint I have is, they are a little pricier than the other plumbers we spoke to but you really get what you pay for. Great service and professionalism.

Description of Work: Dishwasher wouldn't start. He diagnosed the problem quickly and got it repaired

Description of Work: I contacted ONeill to repair my kitchen sink in October and didn't get it finally repaired until mid January. There was difficulty getting appropriate parts from the supplier which took two months of trial and error and we ended up needing to buy a new fixture to be installed. Oneil made four trips with a labor charge for all four. It was an outrageous experience and I will NEVER use them again!

Description of Work: We had to install a new water main from the meter up to the house because the old one developed a huge leak. I was concerned about the topography (rockery, uphill approach, etc) but their lateral boring machine is plenty maneuverable, so it was no trouble running the line just where it needed to go. I was prepared for the worst, but in the end, they completed the job in a single day - including inspection and sign-off by the city. The contract I selected was for a flat fee, which seemed reasonable for this particular job. They've done enough of this work to have a solid sense of the costs they'll incur while keeping the job profitable at a fair price. I'd have been paying the equivalent in wasted water in under a year anyway - now at least I have a water main that *might* outlast me into the bargain.

Description of Work: They replaced my kitchen drain pipe that ran across the ceiling in my basement and down the wall to the main drain. They originally came to just give an estimate but we're able to take care of it right away. It was replacing old corroded pipe with new plastic piping.

Description of Work: A plumber arrived and reviewed what had to be done. He took a picture of of the part that had to be replaced. He also reviewed another problem and promised that this would be an easy fix. Approximately 2 weeks passed without a word of a return visit. I called and they had misfiled the information, therfore no work was done. A call was made and a promise of a retun visit with the proper part was made. It now has been several weeks later and no call or revisit! And NO! I would not recommend this service.
