O'Neill Plumbing

Gosh, I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Right on time, too! At my request, he made a stopgap repair, and advised me as to what's needed for a complete repair. As soon as I get back from my trip, I'm calling O'Neill again to do the second half.

My husband and the plumber did not get off to a good start. My husband had a bad day and could have been nicer, but the plumber didn't communicate well. He didn't have time to install the instant hot on his first visit, but didn't adequately explain why to my husband. After he left, we found that there was a leak in the new work he had just installed. I called and got an answering service. No one called back that night. The plumber returned a day later to install the instant hot and even after my apology for the conflict with my husband, he made several disparaging comments about my husband, that I felt were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall the work was done, but it was more hassle than it should have been and it wasn't cheap. Too many other choices, in my mind, for plumbing work to put up with attitude. Also, I had to call twice to get my $30 credit, they advertise for Angie's List customers.

The plumber was able to come earlier than expected. (He called to make sure it was OK.) He did clear the drain successfully, but was messy.

The representative was friendly and scheduled us quickly in our time frame required. The plumber was on time, extremely polite and efficient. He was knowledgable and spotted the issue right away. He just repositioned the trap and said he saw this minor issue a lot in remodels-- We were extremely happy and felt the price was reasonable!

I mostly dealt with Cevin Farnsworth. Cevin was very helpful in planning the project and worked with me to get the different phases of work performed expediently, as soon as related construction activities were complete. All of the O'Neill personnel who worked on our project were very professional and helpful.

The guys did a great job unclogging the toilet. And they adjusted the stopper in the tank so I wouldn't have to hold down the handle when flushing.

They were super professional and nice. Did a really good job explaining what they were going to do and doing the work. It was about $1050 for this work that took about 2-3 hours for two guys. Seems a little expensive.

The team was very professional and helpful in understanding why things needed to be fixed and where we would want to make plumbing changes in short and long term. We had several other contractors in at same time (flooring, electrical and painting) and they worked well with the other trades.

Very good job. I will hire them again

The plumber was a little late but did an excellent job.

I have a well powered garbage disposal and a huge bill to go with it.

Plumber was on time and polite and cleaned up after the work was done. He did the work on time, and materials basis with original estimate was based on 1 plumber. Calling in a 2nd plumber (75 gal water heater is not a 1 man job) inflated the cost to $300 more than original estimate.

They were very professional, fast, polite and knowledgeable.

Responding plumber, Dale P., was on time, efficient and very knowledgeable.

Plumber fixed the problem, cleaned up after himself, and proceeded to teach me more about low-flow toilets than I ever thought I would want to learn. He also gave me good advice about what kind of toilet to buy when I am tired of the issues with this one and want to replace it.

This is our third experience with O'Neill plumbing and it has been excellent every time. Pete showed up on time and got right to work. He's very well versed in his trade and isn't afraid to explain exactly what he is doing and why as he works. He did what he said he was going to do, and it didn't fix the problem (i.e. the drain didn't flow), so he quickly came up with a second plan of attack that resulted in a working drain. Exactly what we asked for! We're ecstatic to know a plumber that we can trust and who we'll call for any future problems.

Job 1: O'Neill Plumbing was very personable, helpful & understanding on the phone. We had a pretty specific window late in the day when we could be home & they hit it. Peter was very knowledgeable & did a bunch of little stuff above & beyond just fixing the leak to make the faucet work better then it did before! Extremely helpful & efficient. We couldn t be happier with this experience. This was the first time we have ever hired a plumber & really didn't know what to expect & it turned out great! As long as O'Neill Plumbing is around we'll be using them for our plumbing needs. Highly recommended. Job 2: Excellent. Pete had given the tub a cursory look on his way out the door the last time he was called to fix the kitchen sink - just as a courtesy. When we called him back to actually fix the tub, it went EXACTLY as he predicted. Now the tub faucet works BEAUTIFULLY! O'Neill has been clean, efficient, professional, & has done really good work for us.

On time. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Accurate in time and cost of work. Used care with the old fixtures. I was very satisfied with the work.

KEN WAS EXCELLENT: PROFESSIONAL, GOOD WITH OUR DOG, AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. HE CAME OVER PROMPTLY, FINISHED THE WORK QUICKLY, AND GAVE ADVICE FOR HOW I COULD AVOID MAKING SUCH SERVICE CALLS IN THE FUTURE. HE CHARGED THE BARE MINIMUM, BUT, OF COURSE, THAT'S A LOT FOR A HOME VISIT. I AM, HOWEVER, QUITE SATISFIED AND WOULD USE O'NEILL PLUMBING AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL OFFICE STAFF. PLUMBER WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THOROUGH. I GUESS I HAVE AN UNUSUAL FIXTURE, SO IT WAS LUCKY THAT THEY HAD THE PARTS NEEDED IN THEIR WORK TRUCK!

IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I CALLED TO ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT AND IT TOOK 45 MINUTES TO HAVE THE CALL RETURNED. AFTER TALKING TO THE DISPATCHER, WE SET A TIME AND DATE FOR SERVICE. THERE WERE A FEW PROJECTS WE HAD LINED UP. I TOOK A 1/2 DAY OFF OF WORK TO BE HOME. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AND I HAD TO BE THE ONE TO KEEP CALLING TO CHECK ON THE STATUS. FINALLY AT 3:30, I WAS TOLD TOO BAD. NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE.

DALE PENTHENY, FROM O'NEILL PLUMBING, ARRIVED PRECISELY ON TIME, HAD EVERYTHING HE NEEDED ON THE TRUCK, WAS EFFICIENT, CHEERFUL, AND AS HIS BUSINESS CARD SAYS, WAS ''CLEAN, FAST AND PROFESSIONAL''. HE EXPLAINED ALL HE HAD DONE, CLEANED THE AREA WHEN HE WAS FINISHED, AND IT WAS A PLEASURE TO DO BUSINESS WITH HIM.

THIS COMPANY ALWAYS COMES ON SHORT NOTICE FOR US AND IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DOES A VERY GOOD JOB REPAIRING OR REPLACING OR UNCLOGGING THINGS FOR US.

WORK WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WE WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT QUICKLY AND AT A TIME THAT WAS CONVENIENT TO US. THE WORKERS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMMUNICATED WELL.

O'NEIL PLUMBING COMPANY HAD WORKERS THAT WERE VERY PROMT. THEY WERE ALSO VERY POLITE. I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONAL MANOR AND WORK ETHIC. I WOULD READILY HIRE THEM AGAIN.
