They were punctual, accurately diagnosed a difficult situation, had a supervisor stopping by to check on the work periodically, were able to get multiple people on the job in relatively short notice when the need arose. Overall, very professional, thorough, and reasonable for the work performed. I will use them again.

The plumber was on site promptly. He was friendly. He knew exactly what and how to accomplish the task at hand. The work took about 2 hours to complete. After completing the installation he thoroughly cleaned up the site.

It's been a couple of years or more since I last used them. They are my go to guys when it comes to plumbing work. They are honest, very responsive, and very dependable. They are also very tidy when they come in to the house. They are just excellent.

My only contact with them was on their website. They have a chat option. I had a nice "conversation" with someone. My main question had been "do you provide service to Federal Way?" That person ignored that part of the question and had me giving details about the service that was needed. This was all done via type so this "person" may have been a computer. He was going to have someone call me and I was never called.

We self general contracted a studs out remodel of a large 8,000 square foot home, and O'Neill plumbing is one of 4 sub contractors that I would whole heartedly recommend. Randy and Ken were our main points of contact, and were absolutely amazing. Because of the scope of the project, we had to complete our plumbing work in phases. They were very responsive when we were ready to schedule the next phase, courteous, and extremely professional. Their pricing was very fair, and we had no problems with our inspections. Thank you so much for making this portion of the remodel so successful!

The worst service experience I've had in a long time. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day considering their Angie's List scores, but I would still beware. I could not have been more disappointed. My second call was to Fox Plumbing and they were incredibly responsive. It started on a Sunday morning incident where our hot water heater's expander tank ruptured and sprayed all over our furnace area. It also serves our radiant heating, so we had to shut down both hot water and heating. I choso O'Neill to call based on AL's reviews and spoke with the dispatcher about needing a call out ASAP. She told me the On Call Tech would call us. A half hour later and no call. I called back and got another service rep. He said they were booked for the whole weekend on emergency and he didn't know when they could get to us. Why they didn't say that on the first call, I don't know. I then asked him how you could pre-determine an emergency schedule? He said the best he could do would be to leave my name in a voicemail box and then would call when they could. Why would you advertise an emergency response system that could not even provide a possible response time? Mike

On November 1, with record rains in Seattle, my sewer backed up into the basement laundry room. I called O'Neill Plumbing in a panic and they immediately sent out someone to clear out the blockage and scope my sewer system for problems. They stayed with it until the sewer was cleared. Based on the findings from the scope and my discussions with Cevin of O'Neills I decided that I would have them put in new sewer lines and reroute it to the alley (the original line was connected to the main in the street at the front of the house). I was absolutely stressed out over the damage done in my basement from the backup and the thought of digging up my beautifully landscaped backyard. Cevin carefully took me through the entire process, discussed each one of my fears and was available through the entire job for questions, concerns and problem solving. He is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. He really knows his business. His team began work on November 8 and completed November 11. I was so impressed with their job ethics, knowledge and care of my property. All the work they performed was contained so there was no damage or uncontrolled mess. Plants had to be moved and then replanted. They were careful and respectful of my property and were always open to my questions. They truly worked to limit the amount of disruption to me and my property. When they completed the project on Nov 11 they had put my yard back and cleaned up so that I could not tell they had been there. I was impressed and so relieved!!! They were wonderful. I would recommend them to everyone.

It was a very good experience and they did incredible work. The technician was very polite and didn?t try to push anything on me. He was punctual and did professional. I think the prices were competitive and fair. They will defiantly get my repeat business.

I had used Oneill in the past and was willing to pay the $160/hr for the high quality of service and work. I called this time a week early to schedule someone to come out and install a new faucet, sink drain, and dishwasher hookup. I had the countertops and new undermount sink installed the day before. The goal was to minimize time without a working dishwasher and sink since we have 2 small children. On the morning of the scheduled work Oneill called and wanted to reschedule the appointment for later in the day. I told them no since we had called a week ago and my family needed the sink functional ASAP. So, the journeyman came out at the scheduled time. He was a bit gruff and unhappy. Little swearing under his breath when things didn't go as quickly as planned. But, eventually he simmered down and did an ok job. I had to have Oneill come back out and tighten down the new faucet. The washer underneath got caught on the undermount sink and was not tight enough to prevent the faucet from moving when used. I won't be using Oneill again. If I pay someone $160/hr I expect that they will not be grumpy. It only took me 2 minutes to figure out why the faucet was not tight enough. That kind of thing shows me a lack of attention to detail and again for $160/hr that is not acceptable.

I contacted O'Neill Plumbing three times over the past week and they were unwilling or unable to call or e-mail me. I would think promptness of response would be a core competency of a plumber. O'Neill Plumbing, in my experience is clearly unreliable. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Over the course of 3 days, I called and gave my information in 3 phone calls, and was told each time that a dispatcher would return my call....but no one called. I ended up calling another plumber. Very poor response to my calls.

We had low pressure in two faucets and a split pipe to an outdoor faucet. John K. arrived a few minutes early then had all three problems fixed in one hour flat. He actually trotted to and from his truck and was able to do it even though my two dogs insisted on helping. He also reminded me of the $30 discount for going through Angies. I'll need him again in the future because it is an old house and you bet I will be using O'Neill.

Work was very good and completed in about 3 hours which seems reasonable. I did not price other plumbers as I needed to get the toilet working again ASAP. The charges did not seem excessive to me and I am very satisfied with the end result.

Went well. This company is top notch. Noticed wetspot on ceiling in downstairs family room directly above master bathroom. Originally, I didn't know where the leak came from. Used O'Neill plumbing before on outside downspouts that needed to be snaked. Called for appointment and Kelly was nice, courteous and quick to offer help and scheduling. Plumber Dale came out to find and fix leak. He was very professional and accommodated working around big screen TV which was too hard to move. After a few inspection holes in ceiling he discovered leak came from master bathroom tub above. I had used a handyman to change/update bathroom fixtures about 1 year ago. Unfortunately, he was just a handyman and not a professional plumber. My mistake. Never again. As I found out you can not use plumbers putty on fiberglass tub or rector seal 5 on ABS pipe when installing the tub drain/shoe.(directions on can says not to use with ABS pipe). So, I had a failure on bathroom tub drain shoe. Plumber Dale was very informative, helpful and polite. He communicated well on what needed to be fixed. He even retrofitted a new drain in shower even though it didn't leak so I would not have problems with that in the future. I highly recommend O'Neill plumbing. In my case, the cheap became expensive by hiring a handyman instead of professionals. Now moving forward to fix the drywall holes in my ceiling. I will use Angie's list for this repair also.

They are the nicest people I have ever worked with. I will not ever call another plumber. The are courteous, never late, cheerful, willing to answer all my questions and never make me feel like I don?t know what going on. He checked the shower and double checked to make sure it wasn?t leaking. They are reasonably priced and always take my Angie's List coupon. They are just wonderful group of people.

Our water pressure was low, especially for hot water. There was a clunking sound when I turned on the washing machine and I had no idea what could be the matter. Someone was able to come out right away, he was punctual and very professional. After looking things over, he asked how old the water heater was and when we told him it was about 14 years old, he guessed that it needed to be replaced. We got an estimate within 15 minutes and scheduled the work for the next day. Two fellows were there right on time and it only took an hour, from start to finish. Now, we have great pressure and hot water right away. Great experience and wonderful people. I highly recommend O'Neill Plumbing and would use them again in a heartbeat.

My old hot water tank was leaking - it was a Sears brand so I orignally called their service line but they gave me an appointment date that was over a week out. I called O'Neill and they offered an appointment the next morning (I couldn't do it the day I called). The service tech, John, gave me an idea up front the costs of a new water heater and the time needed for installation -- he was completely on target -- it took an hour and a half just as he estimated, the price was exactly what he said it would be, he cleaned up thoroughly and he walked me through what he did and oriented me to the new water heater. I can't remember the gallon size (50ish) but I know the cost of $870 is good, compared to a scary $1300 a coworker paid to another company.

It was superb. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good plumber. He was on time, completed the work quickly, and was priced competitively.

Overall, it was a great experience. Was able to schedule an appointment same day. He wasn't able to identify the problem, but gave us advice on how to proceed...and taught my husband a lot about the plumbing of our house. Great company, would hire them again.

The water was running in our toilet almost constantly, and it had worsened with time. My husband and I had attempted to fix it ourselves to no avail. O'Neill arrived when they were supposed to, fixed the problem in less than a half hour and wha-laa! No problem!

O'Neil was able to get a plumber out to our house the same day. Unfortunately the first job of the day for our plumber, Pat, ran a bit long, so he ended up getting to our house 3 hours later than scheduled. During the delay, I got a phone call from Pat and also from the Oneil head office keeping me updated on the schedule, which I appreciated very much. Pat arrived and was very knowledgeable and experienced and thankfully announced that our issue "was no big deal". He was in and out in a half hour and for under $100. The water was back on and there was no leak. What really amazed me was when I got a call from Pat the next day. He said that he had thought about the issue over the night and was not satisfied with the fitting he used in our repair. While the solution was up to code and certainly met minimum requirements, Pat did not consider it to be a "permanent" fix. Pat came back the next day with the correct part and swapped out the repair, gratis. Service like that is going to make a cheerleader out of me. You can be sure EVERYONE is going to hear about Pat and my O'Neil Plumbing experience.

Overall it was a great experience. The responsiveness was great and the price was reasonable compared to what I expected. The original call time was for 12pm-2pm and they didn't actually call to say he was on the way until 2pm. However, Peter was in and out in an hour from the time he got there. And even though Peter hadn't worked on our specific shower faucet before he was able to make it work just based on previous experience (17 years in his case). He even recommended some options for future repair if the washer wore out again that would be faster and easier. We're actually having him come back out to do some additional work unrelated to this project based on this positive experience.
