I first used their online chat tool but they never called me back the next day (which is why they only got a good on responsiveness). I still decided to go with their company because of all the good reviews on this site. John showed up on time. I showed him where the water line was and he explained what he was going to do and got right to work. He did a great job and when the work was complete he left the work area clean and explained to me what work was done.

The service provided was excellent. Both staff were very professional and I felt that the cost of the repair was very good considering it included two service trips.

Have used O'Neill a couple times for plumbing repairs on a rental property. They are professional, on-time and courteous. They take the time to explan the problem, solution and cost.... Would highly recommend...

When we noticed a leak under our kitchen sink, we called again. An appointment was scheduled to have that fixed, and a new water heater installed, and the hot water line cleared. Steve came out again on 3/4/13 with everything he needed. He replaced the water heater, placed it in a better location, cleared the hot water line, and checked out the sink. The faucet was adjusted and fixed. My husband and I are very pleased with the work, the company, and Steve--the man who made our water flow efficiently. He was friendly and polite, and knew exactly what was required. PM

Initially had trouble getting appointment set-up using their online chat from their website - request apparently got lost. Got a call directly from owner after-hours to clear up problem and get appointment set-up - appreciate the customer service. Tyler showed up ahead of time, replaced water heater in less time than estimated, cleaned up work area and hauled away the old heater. He was very efficient and professional. Price was higher than other estimates but service and professionalism was well worth it. I would definitely recommend O'Neill Plumbing and would call on them again w/o hesitation for my plumbing needs.

Turned out it was just the hose as I suspected and John verified the other hoses and connections were fine and didn't try and sell me anything other than the new copper inlet hose. Great quality work, very prompt and courteous. I was extremely impressed . Even though it was a small easy job, I wouldn't hesitate to call them for a bid for a larger job!

This was a great first experience with this company. I was a little concerned when no one showed up or contacted me by the end of my original appointment window (12-2pm) . Shortly after, though I received a call from the office which informed me that the plumber assigned to my job had, unfortunately, been in a car accident. I was assured that another plumber was on his way and received a very sincere apology. Once the plumber did show up, he was considerate and professional. He even looked at one other issue in the kitchen (refrigerator) to let us know if he could help. He also advised me on the quality of different faucet brands and worked on the first problem while I ran to the store to purchase a new faucet to be installed. Overall, I was impressed. I would definitely call O'Neill again.

See above. I also explained in some detail to O"Neill, in my first phone call, why I was calling them and how I hoped they would respond during the service call. They listened and carried out my wishes.

I found O'Neill on Angie's List and after reading the great reviews, decided to give them a try. I checked their website and found that they had a live chat option - I was ecstatic because that meant I could book an appointment online! Or so I thought. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, but the person I chatted with did pass my information along to someone who could book the appointment for me. So, while I wasn't able to make my appt. via live chat, the person promised that someone would give me a call shortly to set up the appt. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me within ten minutes of the chat ending. It was painless to set up the appt., and the person on the phone was cheerful and helpful. After making the appt., she let me know that they would call on the day of the appt. to let me know when the plumber was on his way. The day of the appt., I received a call (again, very friendly service) letting me know that Ken was on his way. About a half-hour later, Ken arrived. He was personable and let us know that he'd need to call in their specialist to handle our broken faucet - heck, it's only from the 1950s, so I completely understood. I was impressed that they were able to find parts for it! Ken took photos and called the specialist, who said he had the parts needed but that we wasn't able to come by until the following day. Totally fine with us. The next day, I received a call letting me know that Peter was on his way. About a half-hour later, Peter arrived. Again, really friendly and helpful service (great company, if their employees are any indication!). Peter was able to get in and replace the broken part in the faucet really quickly. We were back in business with a functioning faucet in record time - very happy! I can't recommend O'Neill Plumbing highly enough - I will trust them with my plumbing needs going forward.

O'Neill cares about its customers. This service took two visits. We were hearing gurgling in the drains and did not know the cause. The first plumber replaced the sink waste which did nothing to address the problem. This plumber suggested WE determine if the house had a vent which they might be able to clear if we could find! I thought that was why I called a professional - to figure it out and solve the problem. Instead, my husband crawled around in the attic to see if he could locate a vent pipe. No success. I called the office again to explain what the problem was and ask if they had the tools and/or the expertise to determine what the problem was and how to fix it. They were very understanding and sent out a second plumber with a broader understanding of older homes. This plumber was able to ascertain there was no accessible vent pipe just by looking inside and outside the house. We discussed that there may be one, and it may be hidden inside a remodeled wall. However, he had a remedy for the problem. He installed an air induction valve under the kitchen sink which is an acceptable but not preferable method, and also recommended cleaning the drains out to the street. We have lived in this old house for fourteen years and had never done so, and agreed that was a reasonable thing to do. The results were good. The gurgling is gone and the drains are working fine. We were very satisfied with the second plumber's visit. (His name is Peter. If you have an older home like we do, Peter is your guy.) But I had an issue with paying for both the first service call which did not address the issue, and the second service call which did. I called O'Neill Plumbing to tell them my concern. I spoke with Kelly, the service manager, and she worked with me to come to a mutually agreeable solution. I thought this was an outstanding example of a company who worked hard to resolve the problem, and was willing to admit when things did not go as expected. Why is Angie's List so popular? Because we all realize there are not many companies like O'Neill Plumbing who care about their customers. If we ever need a plumber again, O'Neill gets our business. Oh, and did I mention? The second plumber scheduled his visit at our convenience, showed up on time, and completed the work within the projected time frame. Wow!

The kitchen sink had been backed up for a few weeks and I was barely managing with a VERY slow drain, I tried Drain-o and a couple of other products which did absolutely nothing to help the clog. I called O'Neill plumbing based on their stellar reviews on Angie's List and was not dissapointed. They were courteous, punctual, and had the drain snaked in 30 minutes flat. They don't charge a "service" fee like some of their competitors, I was just charged for the time that they were at the house. I will definately be calling them again next time, wish I had called them sooner!

From the receptionist to the guy who came out (Gabe), this was a perfect experience. Clear, efficient, kind, clean, responsive, and responsible. I would ABSOLUTELY use O'Neill Plumbing again. The problem was fixed and we're 100% satisfied.

I finally found a company with integrity! There were no hidden fees, Dale & Gabe explained what they were replacing. Professional (and personable), clean and punctual. I will use them in the future and refer anyone that needs plumbing work performed. Thank you very much!

It was great! They did the installation in less than an hour, and the new faucet is working just fine.

Overall it went well; I have to have them come back and move some piping around as the previous homeowner hooked the sump pump drain into the upstairs kitchen drain like a T and any food scraps that go down the kitchen garbage disposal just collect in the sump pump pipe. I was shocked though when I heard there per hour charge of $190. I am in the wrong business.

I had a bathroom drain that was overflowing. The service was prompt and the problem was fixed shortly. When I inquired how to prevent this from recurring, he gave me a tip, which I appreciated.

Great all around. He was right on time, very tidy and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained all of the actions he was taking. Our shower works better than ever now.

We noticed a leak seeping through the drywall in our garage and called O'Neill plumbing late in the afternoon. They sent a technician out first thing the next morning without charging an "emergency" fee (as opposed to some other companies that were scheduling 3-4 days out). Their technician was prompt, professional, found the leak almost immediately, had the parts to fix it, and had the entire thing done in about an hour. Very positive experience around something we worried would take a long time and a lot of money to fix.

O'Neill Plumbing was great. They had a plumber out within two hours of the call. The plumber was very friendly and communicated well with me about the work. He was efficient in getting work done. He gave me good advice on the current state of our toilets and how we should maintain them in the future. We would call O'Neill Plumbing again.
