O'Neill Plumbing

O'Neill was very prompt at setting up a time to come out and do an estimate for the work. We were able to coordinate with Britta, their scheduler - she was very responsive and patient with us as our available times moved around due to work. The employee who arrived quickly checked out the two bathrooms, gave a quick verbal estimate to my husband, and said that he could do the work right then! Okay! The estimate was below what we were thinking it might cost for a plumber to come out and properly install the toilets, the employee made quick work of the install. He left behind no trace and was completed within 90 minutes. The entire process of working with O'Neill was quick and painless and professional. Perfect.

Our technician determined that he could not retrieve the object blocking the flow without removing the toilet and since the toilet needed updating anyway, we just did that.

It was a good experience. They were very responsive when I called, showed up on time, and did a good job. Furthermore, the technicians were very nice and paid great attention to detail.

It went great. They came in cleaned the line. Removed a ton ofroots from the line and my bathroom is not backing up on the floor anymore.

Everything went good. They were knowledgeable. The guy that was here wasn't great in water system not something everybody has so he went back to check to have the office do some research on that. Initially they were responsive on that and then were still waiting here if they found anything else the company that makes the Great Water systems was seemingly out of business or somebody else has taken it over or something I wouldn't fault them with it, they probably could have called me once they couldn't find out anything else. I would use them again in the future.

Arrived on time. Once shown the problem, identified the faucet manufacturer, then fetched repair kit from truck. Installed repair kit, ensured that faucet did not leak. Wore booties over shoes to protect floors, cleaned up afterwards. Gave Angie's list discount without being asked. Faucet works fine now.

The job went well. The pump was removed and examined and determined that it was still working, so it was returned. The technitian was polite and efficient and left without any kind of a mess.

With the water line all went fine, and the plumber took all debris away and cleaned up the basement. The toilet is a TOTO ADA replacement and they secured to the floor with a new bracket and screws. That toilet is rock solid and so far no problems despite only using 1.8 gallons/flush.

Plumbers were both on time. The first plumber did not have enough parts to change the 4 sinks faucets and the kitchen faucet. They rescheduled for when the parts came in and the plumber was on-time and fixed all of the leaks.

Frank and Lorenzo performed transparrantly, and with full explanation. Also involved was snaking through existing pipes to ensure there were no failures, and they were able to turn the corner from along the house to the street that another provider was not able to maneuver, which was greatly appreciated.

Service provider showed up on time, worked quickly and was super knowledgeable about all of the water related systems in our home. Very happy with the work completed & will use them again.

The galvanized water pipes in the home were approaching 60 years old and showing signs of corrosion. All galvanized was replaced as well as shut-off valves and water connections to hardware.

They are the only plumbing company I use. They accommodate every scheduling request I have had. I use them for anything and everything. The quality of the service is outstanding and I will continue to use them. They even helped with my mother in law's house outside of Seattle. I have been so happy with their service and feel I will never need another plumbing company. Years ago when my husband and I first needed a house, we asked around the neighborhood and our next door neighbor told us about O'neill. That's how we first heard about them and I will continue to spread the word.

We requested a new clean out access installation as the original one was located in a crawl space under our house (1923). The access needed to be at the front of our home, and O'Neill came up with a great design that makes the access opening unobtrusive. They completed the install, and replaced another section of sewer pipe that was broken and blocking. All the digging was by hand and they had to work around a very large retaining wall to complete the work. These guys were great! They were on time, were careful about minimizing the impact to our landscaping, and left the areas clean. And now we have a sewer line that is clear and that can be easily cleaned as needed As luck would have it, while O'Neill was doing the sewer work, we discovered that we had a leak in the incoming water service. They called in a second team to start on the water main work, hand dug to replace the line and completed the work in 2 days! They knew exactly what had to be done to get the city inspection completed and our yard put back in order quickly, since we were leaving on a trip. These guys are wonderful!!!

We have used them many times. They are great, show up on time, and they do the job right.

No one showed up for the appointment. No call to confirm or to indicate that schedule was running behind and/or that the appointment may need to be moved or rescheduled. I called the office at 4:30 to ask about status. No one answered. I left a message. No one called back. Office closed at 5. Still not a peep about the appointment. Overall: Unprofessional, unresponsive, and disrespectful of the client's time. Will go with another vendor in the future. An update: The plumber did show up shortly after 5pm and resolved the issue quickly and professionally. The plumber was coming from Bellevue and unexpected traffic was the cause of the delay. I know traffic is unpredictable and appointments are often located across town. I didn't mind so much that he was late... A quick call with status (i.e., traffic bad, running 30-60 min late) would have been appreciated. Having never worked with this vendor and only knowing that their offices closed at 5pm, I just didn't have any sense of what to expect. Overall the work was fine, but the company seemed a bit disorganized from an appointment booking/tracking and customer communication stand point. Maybe it was a one time blip.

We are sorry we had put off doing this sewer replacement and had to have ~annual reaming for so long. O'Neill Plumbing's price was reasonable (we did get other bids). They completed the job quickly. It was relatively painless for us and we are thrilled not to have roots in our pipe anymore.

My plumbing was backed up, had good service from them before. Different guy came out. He even said he was not satisfied with the lack of 'robustness' of the clean out, but left anyway. Pipes backed up again, called to ask for help, they did not call back.

The problem was identified and resolved in a timely and professional manner. We were pleased with selecting O'Neill Plumbing.

Nelson showed up on time. He was friendly, knowledgable and fast. He answered all of my questions with a helpful attitude. It was a small repair but needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called O'Neil Plumbing based on positive reviews on Angie's list. (We had a foul mildew smell coming from under the kitchen sink.) The receptionist was very nice and the plumber arrived on time. However the plumber did not solve the problem and did NOT listen to me when I explained the problem. He essentially arrived, heard the words "smell under the sink" and decided that replacing the trap under the sink by the disposal would fix the problem. Our kitchen is totally new (less then 2 years old) so all of the plumbing is new. When he removed the old trap it had water in it, did not smell very much and appeared to be functioning correctly. He sawed a new piece of tubing and replaced the trap anyway even though I must have said 3 times that I did not think this was necessary. The smell was just as bad after he replaced the tubing as before and when I said so he said that I should "google or "you tube" how to rid my garbage disposal of bad smells using "baking soda." This is insulting as I had already tried all the obvious ways to get rid of the smell, and was again, convinced that the smell was coming from the exposed plumbing in the wall under the sink and NOT the disposal. Three days after the plumber left, my husband looked at it again, (as the smell was unbearable) and decided to try replacing the Air Admittance Valve under the sink (located in an exposed part of the wall under the sink) and bought a new part on Amazon. He replaced the valve himself and bingo, we now have NO smell at all. Bottom line, the O'Neil Plumber, while on-time and clean, did not listen to me and did not solve the problem. I paid $75 for a service that I told him I did not need.

While the first service call didn't go exactly as expected (we were expecting an estimate on the two jobs, and if we decided to move forward, the work would begin that day, but instead they did the estimate on a Friday and then scheduled time the next Monday to to the work), overall O'Neill's was very responsive and helpful. Steve did an excellent job with both projects, finishing them in less time than expected, and therefore under the price we were expecting, which was a big relief. He was professional, polite, worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up very well before he left. Plumbing issues are never fun to deal with, and always seem to be more expensive than they should be, but the service we received made us feel like the price charged was fair.

We had evidence of a small backup into our basement tub. The provider assessed the situation and ran the water, but since the problem wasn't present at the time, he said we should just watch and document any details- rain, other appliances running, etc.- when a backup occurs again. This will help diagnose the problem or cause. We had him look at the down spouts and yard drainage as well if this could also be the source of a backup in the basement. Other than suggesting installation of a water alarm, he didn't really give ideas of prevention. He did comment that snaking the line could cause more problems (break the pipe) versus solving the issue. My husband and I joked that it was the plumber's easiest call of the day because he didn't do anything and still charged us $95! Glad I had a coupon via Angie's List.
