Flat Price Moving and Auto Shipping

Called and spoke with Robert, who provided me his direct line 310-974-6736 for when I call back. He took all my information during the original call and quoted me $945 to transport my auto from Redmond Wa to Tennessee. At that point I asked several questions such as "are you guys a broker or is that a guaranteed price?" He told me we do the shipping and even have our own transport trucks. I then said "so there is not going to be any surprises on cost if I use your service?" He said "no, that price is guaranteed." I called back 1/2 hour later to book the service, which I told him I would be calling him later in day to arrange (as I had another call coming in), he said "ok". When I called back to book, suddenly the price was $1122. I asked him why and he said "supply and demand, we got lots of calls and no price is guaranteed" I then said "that is bait and switch as you did not tell me that when I spoke with you 1/2 hour ago that the guaranteed price would change or any timeframe on that offer" He didn't care and I asked to speak with his supervisor. Transferred to Joseph Chavalier who wouldn't do anything for me, told me he talked to Robert before transfer and told me he couldn't do anything for me. I asked if Robert works on commission, he told me "yes". I said "I need to know who the officers of your company are or the owner as I would like to discuss this with them." Joe's response was "I do not know who our officer or President is and even if I did, I am not required to tell you."

I filled out their online estimate form and got a reply within minutes. I did have to email a couple times trying to clarify the addresses. These guys went above and beyond. They were friendly, professional, efficient and did everything they could to make the move easier on me. They were honest, transparent and trustworthy. I knew where they were every step of the process. They were happy to go up to the to the exactly drop off location, which I couldn't even check (as I was too small to get up there and I was in a time crunch with the move). They honestly exceed my expectations and I would recommend them 100%. Very kind and polite guys! Thank you so much Toni and his crew for making our moving experience so easy!. Instead of having this company come pick up my cars, I drove my car to flat price auto transport since I was local. My husband did the same thing. It took about hour total. So it did require some time and effort on my our part, but we thought it was worth it to save some money per car. I didn't have to worry whether the auto carrier would pick up my car, and my car was delivered in less than one week's time. Eric of flat price moving & auto shipping was straight with me, knowledgeable, and friendly. He communicated well by email and by phone all along the way from pickup to delivery. My husband and I couldn't have been happier. Will use them again if we need a trustworthy transport company for our cars.
