they were on time, professional, knew what to do, and did it without incident. four days after they showed up, the odor was gone completely (and i have a very sensitive nose)!! they were also cheaper by far than all the high end carpet products we had bought and used up to that point in time direct from pet stores. not to mention our own collective time spent on a distasteful job...!! d&daughters saved our carpet and i would definitely hire them again.

professional. got a quote at the beginning that was reasonable. he went to work and the final product was clean and nice.no issues.

I hired them to clean the upholstery on 6 (cloth) dining room chairs and clean grout in kitchen and bathroom. Two people came out to do the 2 different jobs instead of just one. When they came out, they checked the kitchen area and also the bathrooms and advised me that I really didn't need grout work but some filling of a different kind that they do not do. They gave me the name of another person who does such work at a reasonable price. She is a "Jill of all trades." They just changed me to clean the 6 chairs--which actually was their minimal price ($90) and the $9 for transportation. I thought that was quite reasonable and they were very helpful. The chairs are Scandanavian and were quite dirty with stains from quite a while ago. They did a good job but could not take all the stains out...which probably was not their fault. They did tell me the chairs should dry in 2 hours, but it took more like 8 hours for them to dry and for us to use them. I have a variety of allergies, and I was not bothered by any of the materials that they used.

They showed up on time. They didn't try to sell me on additional products or services. They left some cleaning materials and got the spots out of the rug. It was very good service. They were pleasant to deal with. The quality was excellent.

We LOVE Dander & Daughters! They take care of all our carpet needs from cleaning and getting nasty pet smells out of our area rugs to routine cleaning of our carpet. I highly recommend them.

My original call with Dander and Daughters left me with the impression that they were a professional, punctual and price conscious service. The last turned out to be true, the other two I was not completely convinced. I arranged for the rugs to be picked up at 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. The delivery guy called early to say he was in the neighborhood and could he come by to get the rugs. A little inconvenient but fine. When I asked about a return date, he said the rugs would be done within the week. After a week plus a couple days went by, I called to inquire as to when the rugs would be done. I called after hours so I had to leave a message. I didn't get a prompt call back so I called again. This time I got a return call from the owner who said that the rugs were still drying but could be returned on the next day. (He also said that the rugs were hard to clean, even thought they weren't excessively dirty and I had told them the materials they were made of.) I arranged for the rugs to be dropped off at a time that would be convenient for my boyfriend since I had other obligations. Once again, the delivery guy called me to ask if he could switch the meet up time. I told him he had to call my boyfriend to arrange that, and even though they agreed on the time, the delivery guy called to say he was in the neighborhood and could he come drop off the rugs early? When he arrived, he asked my boyfriend for some Tylenol, which I thought was unprofessional. The rugs seemed slightly damp when they were returned, and had a slight chemical smell. My wool rug now seems very "floppy" after the cleaning and stretches when I vacuum it. Yes, it is an older rug, but I wouldn't have expected so much play in it after cleaning. The chenille rug seems fine, although I did turn it around (as suggested by the owner) so the wear marks wouldn't show. Last time I had it cleaned by Fuzzy Wuzzy, this wasn't necessary. The price was fantastic - almost half as much as Fuzzy Wuzzy - but I'm not sure I'd use Dander and Daughters again. I thought the pick up/delivery would be a time saver, but it was more of a hassle than it was worth. And, I'm not convinced as much care was taken with my older rugs.

I purchased the Angie's Big Deal for 300 square feet of tile & grout cleaning. I wanted my master shower grout cleaned up, and that is exactly what I got. They sent out a very professional guy who did a great job. I had a question about the work, and the owner himself came out to take a look and answer my questions. I will definitely use them again!

I was preparing for a party and was in need of cleaning our wool area rugs. I'd tried renting the Rug Doctor from the grocery store but when I got it home and read the do's and don'ts, I realized that you can't use them on wool rugs so I needed to find an alternate solution. I checked Angies List and came across Dander & Daughters; I saw that they'd received good ratings and I read the reviews so I figured I'd give them a try. I called (on a Saturday) to find out about the logistics of getting our rugs to their headquarters and the gentleman (I can't seem to remember his name) answered and said that they were all on a big project so no one was at the store but that he could come by to pick up the rugs on Monday. The gentleman was prompt in picking up our rugs on Monday and stated that the rugs should be ready by Friday (our party would be that following Saturday) unless there were any special circumstances such as grease or pet urine. I got his call on Thursday stating that the rugs were ready and confirming that we'd be available on Friday for him to return the rugs. On Friday, right on schedule, the gentleman arrived with our rugs; we unrolled one of the rugs to place in the living area and it looked as good as new. I was very happy overall with the services provided and would highly recommend Dander & Daughers!

I used my coupon from Angie's List, which was about to expire --- Tim arrived on time and did an excellent job of cleaning a fairly stained carpet -- it actually turned out better than I thought it would...thanks Tim!

Very well. This was by an Angie’s coupon. Since the grout cleaning job was not big enough to cover what the Angie’s coupon was worth, Mike generously offered to clean the rug on the stairs, hallway, and area in two bedrooms.

I needed my carpets clean and dry before moving in, leaving less than 12 hours for drying. I had to get them cleaned because I am allergic to the pets the previous owners had. Because of this I chose Chem-dry. 2 hours after the carpet was clean it was dry and I moved in without difficulty. I wish that I was able to have them steam cleaned, and they probably would have been cleaner, but in all I was satisfied with the results. Too bad it is blatantly obvious where a plastic runner on the stairs had been and had not been removed. I will fix that later.

I purchased this cleaning as a Angie's List Big Deal. Even though I had waited a long time in using it, they were very easy to work with. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Tim, the service person that cleaned my carpets was very personable and agreeable. He was very capable.

Mike was on time, very personable & professional. He did a great job cleaning. The tile and grout look wonderful. time will tell on the sealing.

Tim called to say he was on his way and showed up on time. He did a great job on the carpets, explaining the products in answer to all of my questions. Tim was exceptionally polite and respectful. He spoke very favorably about his employer.

Scheduled within a few days. Did agreed upon rooms with option to add others if I liked the test run. Carpet had not been cleaned in awhile, is older and has recently been subjected to puppy potty training. A pretty harsh test. Everything looks much cleaner. I did add on from initial order but price was very good. The only issue was that the scheduler said would move everything, but the lone service tech couldn't possibly move heavier stuff. The tech was responsive when I asked for this. We were able to work through the issue with my helping move items. The bill did have an added on $9 gas charge, but since the overall pricing was good it was not an issue for me.

Services were provided in a very timely manner. Technician was polite but seemed to be less experienced with problem areas. I feel like the Big Deal was well priced, but I didn't receive the services or the quality I expected. At first the carpeting looked okay, not as clean and bright as when I use a Rug Doctor machine but good enough. But over time the stains and odor reappeared. I felt like the Big Deal was well priced, but I don't feel like I got the results I wanted and was less than satisfied with the chem dry cleaning process.

Mike Probst came himself and did an estimate and then came and cleaned the carpet. The price was great, the job was well done, he was professional and clean and quiet and I would use him again in a minute. This was a mother-in-law rental unit downstairs in my house and he cleaned 650 square feet of wall to wall carpet in between tenants.

We were surprised by the amount of dog hair we later found on the carpets, a bit disappointing.

I purchased a special from Angie's list for grout cleaning. However, when they came over it was obvious that I didn't have enough grout to get my money's worth. I got reimbursed from Angie's list and had them do the above work instead. They were a bit tardy. Although I DID get a phone call after the scheduled arrival time telling me they would be late, I would have preferred to get it about one hour before so that I could fit in other chores I had. However, that was the only slight advice I would pass on. The service guy (Tim) was polite, very efficient and left my house in great shape. The job was outstanding. I have used professional carpet cleaners before but the carpet never came out as clean as with the process that this company uses. As for the upholstery, I am amazed at how well my two chairs came out. I really thought my dog had dirtied them to the point where I had to reupholster. Again, when the other company was here they said they could only clean the cushions and not the whole chair and I had to bring in the cushions to the store or have them deliver them to me for an extra fee. Also, they never came out that clean. With this company I feel that I have NEW chairs. They are gorgeous. Mike, the owner was extremely helpful and advised me when it became apparent that I had overpaid for the service (my fault though, read above). Also, they were able to make appt almost immediately. In summary, I will absolutely use this company again. The cleaning was spectacular and the service was great.

Arrived on time. Vacuumed areas first, then cleaned. Moved furniture as needed. The process is amazing and as were the results. I was very pleased and wish I had gotten my carpets cleaned sooner. It was quick and efficient, no fumes or down time with this green product. He said to wait an hour to dry before walking on, but it really wasn't that damp and didn't even take that long. It's amazing how nice the carpets looked afterwards!

I am very pleased with their service. The carpets look great and smell so much better. They were very friendly, professional and got the job done in a timely manner. I would definetly recommend them and use them again.

They were very friendly. They gave me a more reasonable price quote than another ChemDry company in the Seattle area. The man arrived on time and was very professional. The bedroom and stairs looked great. He took the area rugs with him to be cleaned. The one rug was damaged by pet urine, and we decided to do the PURT treatment. Wonderful outcome!! You can't smell the pet urine at all!! The only thing I was unhappy with was when the rugs were returned, they had a crease in the middle. I called the company a few days later when the crease did not settle on it's own, and they came that day to pick it the rugs up again to fix the problem. They rugs were returned in wonderful shape. Overall, I was pleased with the service. They have wonderful customer service!

Dander and Daughters was able to send out a technician within one day of when I called. Even though my situation wasn't an emergency, I appreciated having a technician come out prior to having company visit. The owner, Mike, with whom I spoke on the phone, was very personable and helpful in explaining the services and estimate. The price was unbelievably affordable. Mike joked that he'd be happy to take more money and we had a good chuckle over that. Keith, the technician, was very thorough, quick and professional. The carpets look great and I'm thrilled that Dander & Daughters uses environmentally (and animal) friendly products. I'm recommending this company to everyone I know who needs carpet cleaning!

Excellent service and when the stains reappeared on stains, they came back and spot cleaned.
