Jon, the service technician, responded to our immediate need quickly as one of the springs had just broken and I couldn't get the car out of the garage to go to work. He arrived promptly and left he door, opener and rails clean, lubed and sparkling. It's working great at half the decibels. Excellent service at a fair price. We couldn't be more pleased. Highest recommendation!

It was fine. They were quick, fast, and friendly. They were very efficient.

Very punctual -- it was a $49.00 special, and it ended up costing $99.00 but the increased cost was explained to us, and the work wasn't done until they were sure that we wanted to pay the extra. The garage door has been working ever since!!

It went very well. He was very personable. I had many questions that I asked him and he had all the answers. I thought he was quite knowledgeable and informative about everything.

I ordered an $89.99 Big Deal for a garage door reconditioning, and called to schedule it and to verify that it applied to my type of door. The girl who answered confirmed that it did. However when the owner came out he said the girl was new and didn't know that it didn't apply to older doors because there was nothing he could service. (Mine is about 50 years old.) He apologized for the miscommunication, and told me to ask for a refund from Angies List. He took the time to go over my options for new doors and/or openers, and gave me a bid for that. No problems, he was pleasant and informative, answered all my questions, and there was no service charge for the visit.

They were helpful and met my expectations just fine for the big deal offer. I have not had any problems with the garage doors in the last 3 years, so have not had any need to call them back for any major work

We had just moved into a house in Issaquah and the garage door kept getting louder with each opening or closing. We called in Sound Door Services and the provider replaced the old rollers and lubricated all the moving parts. He also showed me which product to use should the door start getting noisy in the future. Now I can leave for work without waking up the neighborhood!

Jonathan is excellent at his job. He is enthusiastic to help, knowledgeable, honest, punctual and conducts himself with the utmost professionalism. He worked with my schedule & didn't complain about traveling a long distance. He is glad to offer valuable information to the customer.

We did not pay anything over the $99. We would recommend them to others. They were knowledgeable, and professional.

I emailed Sound Door at 10:45 pm on 5/21 & by the next morning at 7 am I had an email from the owner. By 7:30 am he called to schedule the repair for the same day between 11 -1 . He actually was available earlier than 11 am but somehow had the wrong address. When I reached him via phone with the correct address he was over in just about 15 minutes. He was friendly & professional. He got right to work & had the job done in about 1/2 an hour. He didn't try to upsell me which I appreciated. I only had one broken spring but opted to get them both fixed figuring it just made sense to have them both done at the same time. I have a 4 car garage & even though I didn't have the other door serviced he lubricated the other door & gave me a heads up that the other door would likely need new springs soon & at the same time new bearings (due to the way it was installed). It could have been a real hassle to deal with the broken spring but it was so quick & easy working with this business. I only had my garage door out of commission overnight & it was fixed by early the next afternoon. Great job Sound Door Service. I will definitely use you again!

There was a mix-up on the appointment time - they had made a booking error on their end. They were quick to send out a representative and provided upgraded service at no charge to make up for the missed appointment. Great work and friendly people.

It went out fine. I don't think there were any problems. I had good interactions with them. I have nothing bad to say about them. Their work turned out good. I didn't spend more than the big deal purchase.

When the service provider ran late because of a traffic jam, he threw in a keypad to make up for our trouble. He did the work efficiently and didn't try to sell us extras we didn't need. He was fast and friendly. Also when he did our initial estimate he noticed one of our cables was fraying (another company's estimator didn't notice that and tried to sell us extra parts we didn't need) When the cable did break, we called Sound Doors and they came out within a few days to do the work. An outstanding company. We would recommend them to anyone.

They came very quickly...same day and worked quickly and fixed the problem. Have used before, will use again if needed.

The owner came out for a bid very promptly, and was on time and courteous. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various companies with garage doors that met my criteria, and ended up quoting two different ones. He thought one of the less expensive doors would be adequate, but I opted to go for extra cushy. The doors were a special order, and arrived when expected. I was called to set up an install time, and there was availability the next day so I took that. Jon (the owner) came out the next morning with James, an installer with many years experience, and they had the doors installed by lunch time. They were pleasant and professional. My install was tight with concrete foundation walls right up against the track, which made it hard to install the bottom brackets. Jon came out and looked at it and assured me that it was fine and fully guaranteed, but I wanted it to be a little more solid and with less rattle. James came out today and adjusted the tracks until they are almost silent. Throughout they were pleasant and professional. Excellent experience.

They checked my door and he only oiled one door of my double door garage. I have 2 doors, and I'm not sure why he only did one door. I called Sound Door Services, and they said that I've got up to 6 mos to call them back out, but I thought he should have done it when he came out initially. The tech also kept talking to me like I should purchase a new door.

The company is very professional. Great communication leading up to the service and the day of. They provided a thorough inspection and made recommendations with my limited budget in mind. I would call upon them again for services.

Checked hinges, tracks, spring tension, adjusted infrared sensors for proper alignment. I had another bid from another provider that charged me $55 for a service call, and then gave a $795 estimate to fix my door. I'm very very happy I purchased this package from Sound Door Services!!

The reconditioning went well but they were unable to fix my garage door opener which I paid extra for.

This was an expensive solution that didn't fix the problem at all. In their favor, they were good about trying to troubleshoot several times, and didn't charge me for the time I had forgotten the appointment completely, making a wasted trip for them. However, they showed up on two separate occasions without the correct materials to do the job I had talked to someone about prior to the appointment. The last time, I had talked with someone at length over the phone about what the next attempt to fix the issue would be, and the person who arrived not only did not have the required materials with him, but he seemed not to know anything about what was discussed over the phone.

We purchased a Big Deal coupon. It was very great. We would rate them highest. They were both great and we were really pleased with them. They were very reasonable and even went above and beyond. I was really pleased.

Jon, the owner, came by to give us an estimate. After making measurements, he discussed the various options we had regarding the doors and the openers. One really useful tool he had was an iPad with an app that allowed him to photograph the house then superimpose the different door styles over the photograph, so we could see how the new doors would look on our house. The doors are available in a number of styles, with or without windows, and this helped us decide what we wanted. There were also options on the openers, including an iPhone app that shows you if the doors are open or closed, and allows you to open/close them remotely. Our job was a little tricky in that we had a concrete wall on one side of the garage that would require some of the brackets to be mounted differently. But Jon felt they could do it. He took time to answer all our questions and concerns, and helped us reach a decision (the iPad app helped a lot). We received a detailed, itemized invoice. The work date ended up having to be rescheduled several times, partly because Jon had some conflicts come up and partly because we needed to fit the visit around some of our own constraints. But it was all done very amicably, and Jon was accommodating in adapting to our (changing) schedule. The day of the job Chris arrived near the beginning of the two-hour arrival window, and was joined soon after by James. Three and a half hours later they were done: new doors installed and the old doors loaded onto one of the trucks. They explained the operation of the remotes, the keypad, the wall switches, the safety features, and helped us set the keypad code. I gave them a check for the exact amount of the estimate, and received a receipt by email. The following day I was contacted by the office manager to find out how the doors were working out. I told her they were working out just fine. We should have done this a long time ago. What a difference! The windows (which I was skeptical about, but my wife wanted) add a great deal of light to the garage. The doors work fine--and they look just like they did in the photograph Jon took. They're white and some point we might paint them (which looks easy to do). And for the first time in 30 years I don't have to get out of my car to open and close the door.
