On time, efficient and the door was in working order within the hour. Awesome service!

I highly recommend working with Sound Door. From the initial quote, to the installation everything went smooth and professional. My wife and are were undecided on what door to get. Jon was patient and must have quoted a dozen options over the course of a month. We couldn't be happier with our final selection. The installer was at our house for 9 hours and did a great job.

Provider came in time and replaced the rollers and oiled the metal parts of the garage door. He even recommended to use silicon-based solution to oil the parts instead of oil-based because it last longer and better quality. The service was quite fast about half an hour.

Took him about 1/2 hour... it's fine. I don't recall the month or date service done -- I made up that date so this would stop popping up on my computer.

We purchased a 'Big Deal' from this company because of their valuable sales and service two years ago.

Went very well from the initial same-day appointment to look at our broken garage door (turns out there was a broken spring) and provide us with an estimate to replace. Said we could keep our current door opener but we decided to that we'd had some issues and it was getting older so we might as well replace all at the same time. They were able to do the take-down and installation 36 hours later which was a huge benefit since we had travel plans after that. All in all a very smooth service, the guys who came out were courteous and professional.

Zero drama experience. They came out right away to provide a free estimate. We were scheduled for the following week. The install went smoothly and the doors look fabulous! Their regular pricing was similar to the best deals I saw on Angie's List and they gave us an Angie's List discount. Zero complaints.

Good work, on time and courteous. He came back a few days later to help me reprogram the code on my Genie Key Pad at no charge.

I bought an Angie's List deal to get my garage door springs fixed by Sound Door Services. They called me back the same day, and to my amazement they were even able to come out and do the service the same day! Amazing. The service person was professional and fast, and he even lubricated the track/chain to leave my door running even better than before. The whole thing was done in less than 30 minutes. It was awesome. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Chris did a great job. Called to say he was on the way, then arrived exactly as promised. Did the job quickly, no mess, door works great. Did NOT try to up sell me, which I really appreciate.

They did a good job. They got the job done in about 45 minutes. I had no issues no with the scheduling.

Jonathan came out to adjust the garage door settings, change the rollers to the new plastic/teflon rollers, lube the hinges and explain needed future maintenance needs of the door. We have a heavy wood door. He worked very proficiently, was on time, clean and explained everything extremely well. Jonathan was friendly and very experienced. I would recommend him for sure to anyone that has a similar need. We had to move the day because of scheduling, but no big deal. One of the best technicians I have had work on our house. Thanks

Great customer service from my initial call to the service repair! Although I called at 6pm, John was able to get his repairman out the next morning, when he heard that both my cars were trapped in the garage (it's impossible to lift the garage door when a spring is broken). The repairman was prompt, polite and informative - showing me the various items that had worn and giving me the option to replace or reinstall. The entire experience was one of the best I've ever had and the rates were completely reasonable. I have already been recommending Sound Door Services to my friends and family and will continue to do so!

Over-zealous home inspector reported large garage door did not automatically reverse under resistance to closing. Sound Door technician arrived when scheduled, adjusted spring tension for proper door balance, adjusted safety pressure of openers to assure reversal on contact, and replaced standard rollers with white nylon ball bearing rollers. The door moved quietly and reversed as intended. I also got a lesson on garage door maintenance (who thinks of that?) and will be pro-active in the future. Sound Door will be my first choice if our new home is in their service area.

These guys were great. I was actually able to get an appointment on the same day I called. Their technician came out on time, talked me through what he was going to do, completed the work within an hour. We talked over some options for new garage door openers, and some new pulleys. We just moved and the pulley wheels are likely the ones that originally came with these garage doors, when they were first installed. He's emailing me the estimate for those items. Great company to work with and will use them again.

It was a pleasure. At my age I tend to be a cynic, but I would recommend this company to anyone who asked. They were professional, prompt, informative and just plain nice people. My only apology would be that it took me a while to get my review up. These people were great. Have no doubts or concerns when you hire them, they are wonderful!

Feb 02, 2015 Update: After posting my experience of the vendor (below), I received a call from them to attempt to correct the situation. To their credit, John apologized profusely, and mailed a check to reimburse me for the services not provided. He also offered to provide the services anyway, free of charge, in an effort to correct the situation. Unfortunately, I had a 45 day window to have the service completed, and that window had passed, and so I decided to forgo the offer. As a result, I can't comment on the quality of services, as they were cancelled. I can say that Angies List works! And that it does make vendors more responsive and accountable. As for the quality of Sound Door Services - I changed my rating from F to C (fair) as they did reimburse me, but I cannot comment on their services - as no work was done. January 2015 Posting: I was charged for the services, but the vendor never contacted me to do the work, even after repeated attempts to contact them. I have just received the bill on my credit card and will be negating it. Angie's List should remove this company from their services - this is fraudulent behavior.

The installers showed up on time and were very professional. The lead on the installation crew called me to explain why they were going to install two new springs instead of continuing with the single spring method employed by the home builder. We did have an issue with the new opener after they had tested it several times and had finished for the day, and they called first thing in the morning the next day and had one of the original installers come out and fix the issue in about 20 minutes. Great job, very clean install, and very knowledgeable staff. Would definitely use again.

I am very happy with the results of Sound Door's work. My door was randomly malfunctioning and since they adjusted the tension and springs, etc. I haven't had a problem.

They did an excellent job, we were very pleased.

They ended up doing more. They did good. I was very happy with them. They came out and did what they said. They showed me the additional things that I should probably look into. They didn't force me to purchase anything. They showed me some things and ended up upgrading it and doing more work. I was very happy with it. Our garage doors were super quiet and worked well. They were super friendly. They communicated very well. Overall, every time it was very good. They were timely. They were professional. Everyone was very responsive. They got back to me right away.
