John was first class. It was evident he was knowledge and vey professional even when talking about his competitors. Don't get fooled that a lower price will do the job.

Guy came out. Showed up on time. Nice guy. Looked the door over and figured out that the problem was in the lifting tension on the opener. Adjusted that and everything worked. exactly what was needed.

Very prompt, excellent job. Door operates as well as new.

The repair was completed and now they have a customer for life.

Fantastic! The repairman came to give an estimate, help us choose a good design for our house, and plan the installation. A few days later he quickly installed the new door, and took away our old one. It looks great. We just needed to paint the trim to match.

John came to my house bright and early on a Monday morning, on the time he said he would be there, quickly ascertained what the problems were and fixed them. He was very professional and knowledgable and his fee was very reasonable. I would certainly call him again if I have any further problems with my garage doors.

Chris did a great job. He is clearly an expert on doors and probably a lot of other things too. He was in and out in a little over an hour. The work was done efficiently and correctly. He gave me helpful tips and recommendations and adjusted and tightened components on my 4 year old door. The company charged $99 for the service visit/labor, and about $70 for a steel sliding lock, new high quality remote control unit, and the rubber material for the door bottom. All very reasonable fees. Could not ask for better service, value and quality. He even gave me a 10% Angie's list discount. Great job!

The service call was a no show I call to see what was wrong was I hurried off the phone with the promise of getting a call back later which I never received

He found a comparable door next day morning and sent his technician to fix our garage door. 3 hrs later we had a beautiful new door. We had a failed garage spring, and Sound Door Services came out promptly the following day. In fact, they juggled their calendar to work us in. We were delighted to use them a second time. They had replaced the springs a couple years ago, which were still under warranty, so no replacement part cost required. I really appreciated working with them and their willingness to adjust to meet our needs!

John and his team were fantastic. They showed up right on time. When the new door didn't fit into the old space just right, they returned twice to make sure it was a perfect fit. John (the owner) followed up with me on the phone just to make sure everything was running smooth and of course it was. The technician James was super friendly and described in detail what needed to be done and how to do it right. I am obsessive about details and I highly recommend. They will address your needs. Hire these guys. You won't regret it.

As before (2012), Sound Door did a first class job, from responding to our telephone message to completing the repair...all in one day! The basic service charge for a residential response was $99, and the repair part needed to fix the garage door opener was approx. $40. The technician, James, showed up on time, completed the repair, adjusted the spring tension on the garage door, and lubed the wheels, and had the opener working like brand new in about 30 minutes. He was friendly, informative, highly competent and efficient! We highly recommend Sound Door Services!

After the collision, we initially thought we'd need to replace the door. But they were able to fix it very quickly and for much less cost than a replacement door. He also "tuned" up the door and it runs much smoother and quieter than before.

The garage door in our partially submerged, detached garage got stuck for unknown reasons and Sound Door was the only company able to come by the same day. The garage only has one small casement window and so it was hard to see what was going on inside but Jon spent a good deal of time trying out different things and eventually figured out what the issue was and got our door opened. He saved us time, money and stress by not giving up on trying to find a solution and was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Will definitely use their services again for routine maintenance/tune-ups and for any future issues that arise.

Sound Door Services are a professional, responsive and honest company. John was friendly, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. I appreciated him calling me in advance to check to see if he could arrive slightly earlier than scheduled. He inspected the general operation of the garage door; the door alignment; the safety mechanism and lubricated all the springs, rollers and bearings which made the door operation smoother and quieter as a result. I asked for his opinion in whether to change out the rollers for new ones but he didn't think this was necessary. No additional work was required and I feel pleased in the knowledge that our garage door performs safely and is in good working order. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.

The install was seamless. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Thanks Jon and team. BTW, we got the Satin Etched Glass doors. You can't see through it, but it lets SOOO much light in. It's actually changed the way we use our garage.

Sound Garage Door rocks! Even during a very busy time of year, SGD responded to our needs literally overnight! We needed to replace our 17-year-old garage door opener, and Jon and his senior technician, Chris, came through like a charm with a hard-to-get next-day appointment. Thanks, Guys! But wait—there’s more! The main reason we chose SGD was because of their integrity and customer service. Several years ago, when we were having some trouble closing our garage door, Chris came out to service it. Within literally a minute, he diagnosed the problem as a misaligned safety sensor and readjusted it—at no charge to us! Now THAT’S customer service! Because of that “customer first/integrity always” attitude, we hired SGD to replace our old garage door opener when it finally died. Thanks, Sound Garage Door—you are definitely our go-to guys!

In May 2016, Sound Door Services responded immediately to my request for trouble-shooting a garage door opener problem. Rather than make me wait for a regular appointment several days out, they suggested stopping by later in the day when they would be within 15 miles of my location on another service call. Turns out the problem was just a minor adjustment to my 14 y/o equipment, which they accomplished quickly, efficiently, for a reasonable fee, and without trying to pressure me into replacing my garage door opener. A+ for responsiveness, A+ for competence, A+ for integrity. Sound Door Services ROCK!

I called John early in the morning and he said he could not come to the house until after noon. Our cars were stuck in the garage. Before I could find another service provider, John called back and said he could be there in about 90 minutes. He showed up, weighed the door to make sure I had the correct springs, changed them, lubed the rollers and finished in less than an hour. Top notch work from a hands on nice guy. He even took calls from other inquiries while working, so he is very responsive to any one who calls.
