Jack of All Trades

I first met Jack when he came to my home on a Sunday (same day service) to check out some duct work that had come loose. He took the time to do the repair same day. I was so impressed that I asked him back to complete a long honey-do list. He sent Josh to help me out and his work was impeccable. Everything was completed in just a couple of days. Both Jack and Josh are courteous, kind, clean and are excellent tradesmen. I had an issue with a product they installed for me and they were back within 24 hrs to fix it. I could not be happier with their work and their professionalism. I give them 5 stars all around!

Fantastic, have hired Jack numerous times, as always he was timely, professional, and extremely proficient at what he does. His skill, attention to detail and his terrific personality make him so much fun to work with. Thanks Jack, you know we want you back to do our deck!

Great. I plan to use them a third time.

The work that was done was on a rental house that we own. Since we do not live in that state, we have yet to stop by and view the work ourselves. We had hoped to stop by prior to sending in our review, but realize that time is going by. However, our tenant who is a very long term tenant, as well as very discerning, has sent us pictures and has stated that he felt it was a good job. Also, the fact that when he quoted the job he indicated that he could not give a definite price for the exterior wall that had dry rot in it until he removed that part of the wall to see if there was more damage than could be seen by looking at it prior to removal. When we got the invoice Jack had indicated that there was no further damage behind the exterior wall and that the price quoted was what we were to pay. Thus, we feel he has done an excellent job and is also very honest. We will definitely have him do any further repairs that are needed at our rental. Another thing that impressed us was that he was very busy when we first contacted him and told us that he probably would not be able to get to the job for a couple months. However, he made time to meet with us at the house when we were in town to give us a quote and he completed the job before we expected. Again, we definitely will have him work for us again!!

Jack came & removed the wallpaper, he was very helpful, dedicated to the task & professional, offering solutions to any issues that came up. He returned another day to texture the walls very carefully, making sure to protect all other surfaces. Then he & his team returned to paint , which in some areas of the bathroom needed a third coat to meet his satisfaction. They also moved all furniture & painted the master bedroom & replaced all furniture. It was a wonderful experience, we feel like we have a new master suite. I would highly recommend Jack to anyone. Also wanted to mention Jack was the lowest of 3 estimates

I left a message on 09/20/16 since I explained I needed. As of 09/27/16 no one has called me back. This leaves me to believe that the company is too busy to make a courtesy call or this was not the work they wanted to do.

His work was top quality with an attention to detail that was amazing. Tiles were aligned evenly and any lower grade tiles from the sheets removed and replaced individually. He had a good solution to create a better polished edge by flipping tiles so the polished side was out. Additionally, his work to hand cut each tile around our curved range hood truly makes this look like a custom designed kitchen. The pantry removal and wall replacement matches well with the existing walls including rounded corners so that it looks as if it was the original wall. Wall oven went in smoothly and he tested it carefully before he left to be sure it was working well. I highly recommend his work.

It was great. I have hanging plants all around the deck. Jack was courteous enough to install new hooks and move the plants accordingly. They also moved a grill and other furniture. I'm very pleased with the finished work.

Called and was told that they are booked until October 2016. They were not available.

They were amazing throughout this major project - very prompt, communicative, and professional. The work is very high-quality and we are thrilled with the outcome. Despite being a large project, they finished more than a week ahead of expected, and worked very hard to ensure the house was move-in ready when they finished, as we have a young baby. They were patient with our many requests and modifications to our initial plan. I can't say enough nice things about them! We would to work with them again for all of our future home projects.

Jack was busy when I first called which was okay and he did follow up with me when he was freeand even came out to North Bend, quite a ways from his area which I really appreciated. I loved that he could handle multiple different jobs and Jack and his crew were very professional and did an Awesome job going above and beyond to meet all my needs. They were very friendly and comfortable to have in my home for 3 days. I loved the work they did and they were super about noticing that I wasnt real happy with how the paint color I picked looked on the wall and letting me change to a different color that I love.I will be using Jack again for future projects and have already recommended him to a friend.

Jack and his team were a pleasure to work with and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The job was done on budget and efficiently. Jack is an excellent communicator and always made sure we were satisfied with how the work was done. He put up with my indecision and change requests with grace, especially regarding grout and paint colors! Jack and his employees are all very friendly and easy to work with. We went from a dingy, cold old bathroom with a taped; fiberglass tub surround to a lovely and warm (from the heated floors);bathroom. It was a complicated job given our house is very old and the walls were not straight and the floors were not level. Jack did an excellent job shimming and leveling the room. It is truly a remarkable transformation. He also helped us fix a variety of issues we had from a previous contractor we hired, as well as patching drywall in several rooms throughout our home from plumbing and electrical work we had done. We are so grateful for all the work Jack did and for our new bathroom!

I got response within a few hours on AL saying he was booked for 8-10 weeks out. I appreciated the prompt reply even though he was fully booked. Very professional.

Jack did an excellent job. He came over to my house to look at the job and told me how he was going to do it. Then he gave me a rough estimate and came back and did the job. I'm very pleased with the finished product and would use him again! Highly recommended.

Scott was wonderful to work with. The ceiling looks brand new like there had never been repair and everything else is great.

We met with Scott to discuss the project. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We decided to go another route, but will most certainly consider this company for future projects.

I was looking for contractor who did quality work and a reasonable price. I brought my search to Angie's List and found Jack from Jack of All Trades. Jack was incredible. He was very reasonably priced and very flexible with the schedule. I would use Jack again in the future for all my home renovation needs. I was very very impressed.

Jack was punctual and very polite. He was honest that he is very busy but still made time to come give us a quote. His quote was reasonable and I would have hired him except I decided to attempt this project myself. I would certainly consider having him do other work when he has more time.

He is excellent. He was very flexible with me as far as scheduling it around the granite installation. They did have a special. It was a certain rate for four hours of handyman work. It was probably $270.

Jack and his crew did a fantastic job on our house. I don't typically write reviews such as this, but the level of service and passion for quality of work has motivated me to write about my experience. The end product was well above expectations, but here are some extra highlights to demonstrate how great it was to work with Jack and his team: 1. We had originally requested a new tile surround for our shower and tub. When Jack's team removed the old tile he found that the people who remodeled our house had framed in empty space at the end of our tub in order to fit a cheaper, standard sized tub. Jack advised us that, if we wanted, he could re-frame the wall to utilize the extra space and we could fit a larger, higher quality tub in our bathroom. I loved that Jack collaborated with us on this change instead of just executing the originally planned job to the T. This was a great bonus for us and now we have a fantastic new, bigger bath tub thanks to Jack going out of his way to present this option to us. 2. Our kitchen originally had tile that connected to hardwood floors on both kitchen exits, and did not have any transitions (there was just grout in between), which was ugly. Jack created custom transitions for us and was adamant about getting them to match our 1940s wood floors. Jack was not satisfied until it was perfect, and went through at least 10 different iterations of various wood grains and stains until he got them to match just right. I was really impressed by his attention to detail, and the transitions now look like they were created with the original house. 3. The new vanity we had delivered turned out to have a small crack in the marble counter top that went un-noticed until after it was installed (the crack was the fault of the company we purchased from). Jack returned to our house over a month later to remove the faulty vanity and replace it with a new one, no questions asked. I would (and plan to) hire Jack and his team back for other jobs, and you should too.

I called Jack and explained about the clog. He said that we was backed up with work for quite a while. He made a special exception and came to do the job within a day. Luckily it was something simple. I will definitely use him in the future!

The provider claimed to be booked two months out and would not even entertain providing an estimate or hearing about all of my projects. Instead, he tried to give me the name of another handyman who he was not even familiar with.

I contact Jack of All Trades to get a quote to switch out my kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal and dishwasher. He was in the area and stopped by the house and review the scope of work. Jack was able to schedule the job for the following Monday, which worked perfect for me. Jack and his helper were professional and nice to work with. P

Jack's work is consistently excellent. He and his team are professional and personable. Jack is our association's first contact when we have a project. As one of his individual customers, I have always been delighted with his creativity and talent. I plan my personal projects around his availability.
